Carnas roared and slammed his hands on the ground, causing a multitude of rocks to rise from the earth, hovering in the air. Noticing something strange about Xiao Ji’s state, Carnas stopped bothering with the seemingly harmless Feng Yuan and focused all its efforts on fighting Xiao Ji.

Watching the small rocks flying towards it, Xiao Ji cried out in anger, continuously spewing pale blue flames, and soon the land in front of Xiao Ji turned into a sea of pale blue fire.

It was odd, considering there weren’t many plants on the Chiyun Mountain Range’s surface, which was mostly rock and soil, yet Xiao Ji’s flames burned as if they were set on a pile of dry grass, growing more intense by the minute.
