Seeing Feng Yuan’s solemn manner, Qi Chen believed him. No matter how irresponsible Feng Yuan might be on a daily basis, his words under this demeanor were trustworthy. However, Qi Chen hesitated upon hearing the news, for just as his mother had said, Qi Xiaoshuang did not have her own Beast Tamer, and it could be troublesome if they encountered any dangers.

The next day, Qi Chen arranged to meet with Dou Yanlan and Feng Yuan at the square in front of the Maomu Grand Library. It was not that Qi Chen wanted to emulate Feng Yuan and take people on a library tour but because the Maomu Grand Library served as an important transportation hub of Maomu City, and they could catch the corresponding bus to anywhere from there.

Qi Chen had asked Dou Yanlan to come to clear up his confusion, with no real plan for where to go to have fun. Feng Yuan didn’t seem to have any particular destination in mind either, so the group decided to meet at the square in front of the Maomu Grand Library and then slowly discuss where to go from there.

Hearing Qi Chen’s confusion, Dou Yanlan took a sip of her milk tea, looked down at Cotton lying on her lap, and said,
