"Are they starting now?"

Feng Yuan sensed Huo Feng beginning to move and quietly shifted his position, while signalling Dreaming Dragon Baby and Xiao Ji to avoid making any noise.

Seeing the special forces quietly encircle the room where the G Organization members were hiding under Huo Feng’s command, Feng Yuan sighed and said,

"It seems they haven’t realized that the Azure Dragon group lacks experience in executing missions independently... Well, those special forces are really... never mind, Agunas, help me record this scene."

"What are you going to do with it?"

"Record this scene and then give it to Captain Yan and his team."

"Tattling?"

Feng Yuan glared at Agunas with a dark expression and after a moment said,

"Do you think I’m that kind of person? Without solid evidence, Captain Yan and his team probably won’t know where the problem lies."

"What’s the problem?"

Feng Yuan looked towards the residential building, sensing in his mind that Huo Feng and his team had surrounded the door of the room where the G Organization members were located.

"Prepare to get scolded..."

Feng Yuan muttered in frustration. As soon as his words ended, a severe explosion erupted from that room, and amidst the billowing dust, the dilapidated apartment building slowly collapsed. Perhaps the explosion was too powerful, or maybe the buildings in this area were poorly maintained, because not just the building with the explosion, but the surrounding ones too started to slowly fall.

"Damn it!"

Although they were prepared, Huo Feng and the others just looked a bit dishevelled from the explosion, but seeing the residential building completely reduced to rubble made them extremely upset. When they had entered the building, they had clearly sensed that there were many innocent people inside.

On the back of the giant crow, the black-robed people began to curse in low, angry voices, while others exchanged puzzled glances.

As the black-robed people cursed aloud, the pressure on Huo Feng and his team skyrocketed. By now, Huo Feng had no strength left to search for the source of the singing; he could only command his two Spirit Beasts to shield the others from the enemy’s relentless attacks.

"Think you can escape? Is it possible?"

Feng Yuan, constantly shaking the lantern in his hand while muttering something, said with a smile as Xiao Ji busily used Soul Soothing, Soul Settling, and Soul Condensing to weaken the robed men’s strength. Although it didn’t understand why Feng Yuan ordered it to use an indiscriminate attack, it followed his command.

"Don’t even think about escaping!"

Having survived a round of attacks, Huo Feng, ignoring his own wounds, shouted at the huge crow that was leaving the ground. Feng Yuan revealed a dangerous smile and said,

Seeing the signature Xiao Ji atop Feng Yuan’s head in front, Huo Feng couldn’t help but yell out. Without turning around, and with a smile on his face, Feng Yuan shook the lantern in his hand again. As he did, an intricate Rune emerged from the lantern, and as the Rune dissipated, the sky filled with dark clouds. In the next moment, countless bolts of lightning rained down, striking ferociously on the barriers that the robed people had set up.

Seeing that Feng Yuan had suppressed the robed men, Huo Feng, gasping and clutching his wound, commanded his Spirit Beast to remain alert and careful, to prevent the robed men from escaping. With Feng Yuan consistently unleashing terrifying area-of-effect deathblows, the robed men seemed to be faltering. Just when Huo Feng breathed a sigh of relief, the leader of the robed men revealed a sinister smile and said,

"Goodbye~"

An explosion that could destroy the entire western district engulfed everyone present. Standing on a distant mountaintop, the leader of the robed men expressed some regret,

"Sadly, I hadn’t expected to resort to this move."

"The guy who burst out last was too strong. When did the special forces get someone like him?"

Looking at the huge crater, Huo Feng, with tears streaming down, let out a long sigh. Feng Yuan shook the lantern in his hand and said,

"So the most important thing for you all should have been to evacuate the civilians in advance, right? And, you didn’t even figure out the enemy’s hidden moves... Anyway, I believe Captain Yan will have a word with you about this."

Shaking the lantern once more, the surroundings began to ripple like water. The next moment, Huo Feng was surprised to find himself back in the room where they had eavesdropped on the G Organization’s conversation, with the wounded special forces members standing intact and confused in the room.

Hearing a knock on the door, Huo Feng, puzzled, opened it. Feng Yuan glanced at Huo Feng who had opened the door and said,

"We’re leaving. Take these people back with you. And those Spirit Beasts, too. If there’s another accident, I won’t be responsible anymore, you know."
