After everyone gathered, seeing Feng Yuan looking somewhat weak, Guo Huai asked curiously. Feng Yuan merely smiled and offered no response. Yao Yin looked at Feng Yuan and said,

"Where to now? The border area is so large; we surely can’t just pick any random place to go, can we?"

With a wave of his hand, Feng Yuan brought forth a Sandboard Mirage in front of everyone. Observing the direction of those red dots, Feng Yuan pointed to a small group of red dots moving toward a village and said,

"Here, this village is just near the border."

"Are you afraid?"

Yao Yin, looking at the largest group of red dots with some bewilderment, noted that the location Feng Yuan was pointing to was not on the path of the largest swarm of beasts, and there were several mountain ranges separating them. It was impossible for the beasts to suddenly change direction to the location designated by Feng Yuan.

"It’s too late for that place, and moreover, it has already passed. I believe it will hold its ground there."

"Do you know where I’m going?"

"Of course, Heshan Village, and we’re headed there too. Mind giving us a lift on the way～"

Hu Weng and Mo Ling had become accustomed to Feng Yuan speaking like this to a Divine Lord, but Guo Huai was somewhat nervous. After all, he recognized that the figure before them was one of the five Spirit Beasts of the Divine Land Region, the Earthguard Kirin. If the beast decided to attack, he figured that everyone apart from Feng Yuan would not survive. Above the Watchtower, Yun Maoxin was awakened by the soldiers and, surprised, looked at the giant kirin appearing outside the city. During this period, the five Spirit Beasts had already had multiple interactions with humans. "Why would the Mountain Lord suddenly appear here?"

"That is the scent of invaders. You will understand once we get there."

"Why do you have that thing? Why have I never seen it before?"

"Well... that, you might want to try asking Lorraine Tower. As for Agunas, that’s a bit harder to explain."

"Lorraine Tower? Alright, I understand."

The Earthguard Kirin vaguely suspected something about Feng Yuan and Agunas. Although it had not lived since the Mythical Era, there was communication among Divine Beasts. The Divine Land Region was the domain of Lorraine Tower and Gitalien, so the resident Divine Beasts would, during their interactions with Lorraine Tower, learn a thing or two about matters of time.

Noticing the ground shaking, a hunter in a small village hidden within the mountain range became anxious and looked around. Seeing the massive dark figure appearing in his field of vision, he immediately sounded the bell that signified an emergency alarm. As the urgent ringing filled the air, chaos erupted in the village. Women grabbed their children who were close and ran towards their homes, while able-bodied men grabbed their weapons and charged towards the village entrance.

In a clean and tidy temple within the village, an aged Spirit Monkey awoke from meditation and slowly opened its eyes, puzzled,

"The Earthguard Kirin? What business does it have coming here?"

Though puzzled, the aged Spirit Monkey thought for a moment before slowly rising from the ground and heading toward the village entrance. Along the way, upon seeing the elder Spirit Monkey appear, both men and women anxiously tried to persuade it to take refuge.
