Every house had a channel in front with shallow water flowing through, water-based climbing plants covering the rock surfaces of the channels, exhibiting dense leaves and flowers that swayed with the wind and water flow.

Xiao Hei seemed to have done something wrong again; Yang Hongzhi was chattering non-stop. Xiao Hei hung its head and drooped its ears, even trying to cover its head to block out the sound.
