Chapter 793: Chapter 617: Counterattack_4

The Fake Owner·Swallower immediately issued a warning.

"Watch out overhead!"

It was as if Su Mo had not heard the Fake Owner·Swallower’s warning, remaining indifferent until the moment when the Red Cicada Flying Insect overhead was about to strike.

Su Mo’s pupils suddenly contracted, controlling the Gluttonous Mecha to roll violently to the right and evade.

Boom~

The Red Cicada Flying Insect that had swooped down from the sky had its sharp claws pierce straight through the body of its own companion.

Su Mo quickly controlled the Gluttonous Mecha to get up and leaped suddenly, raising the Super Alloy Blade to thrust downward, managing to skewer two in one go.

Zi la~

Thick blood splattered along with the death wails.

In an instant, it dyed the entire area red.

"Beautiful!"

The Fake Owner·Swallower rarely praised.

"Not bad,"

gasped Su Mo in response.

"Hmm, move quickly, we don’t have much time left, you go collect the other bodies first,"

the Fake Owner·Swallower said in a deep voice.

"Okay,"

Su Mo didn’t waste words, controlling the Glutton to fly towards the other dead Red Cicada Flying Insects’ bodies.

Before long, he had collected all six of the Red Cicada Flying Insect bodies together.

The Fake Owner·Swallower detached from the Gluttonous Mecha and floated towards the bodies.

In just a moment, all six of the Red Cicada Flying Insect bodies were completely absorbed by the Fake Owner·Swallower.

It was like a bottomless pit, greedily devouring everything.

If an ordinary person had witnessed this scene, they would have been scared half to death.

However, Su Mo remained unusually calm; though the Fake Owner·Swallower looked evil, at least it still followed the rules.

Soon the Fake Owner·Swallower returned inside Su Mo’s body, speaking in a low voice.

"The hassle is taken care of, time to get down to business."

"Raiding their lair?"

Su Mo asked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly.

"Exactly."

Having said that, the Fake Owner·Swallower then presented a rough scan of the entire planet in Su Mo’s mind.

On the other half of the planet, deep underground, there lay a super-large nest.

From that nest as a base, countless dense underground passages extended to many other small nests.

The entire planet was like an anthill riddled with holes.

"Let’s go!"

Su Mo controlled the Gluttonous Mecha to fly towards the nest.

.....

Meanwhile, in the distant star space behind the Black Brilliance and the Green Gore.

The empty star space suddenly rippled, and soon after, a dark and secluded battleship appeared as if out of nowhere.

Inside the command room, Lulavi sat in his chair, watching the latest captured images.

In the footage, the Black Brilliance fleet and the Green Gore fleet were going at full force against the V-shaped Red Cicada Bug King, alongside the densely packed insect swarm.

Seeing this, Lulavi’s twisted face revealed a spine-chilling smile.

"It seems I’ve arrived just in time."

"Lulavi, sir, if those ants win, we can clean them up in one fell swoop, and even devour their spoils of war. If the insect swarm wins, we can beat the falling dog mercilessly. Either way, we stand to gain a fisherman’s profits," said Aiman respectfully.

"Tsk tsk, exactly! It seems this operation will be even easier than I had imagined. Let them fight to their heart’s content," said Lulavi, excited beyond measure.

Inside the Green Gore’s command room.

Beilo gazed intently at the Red Cicada Bug King, her brows deeply furrowed.

"Beilo, when do we move?" asked Eriga, anxiously.

"Wait a bit longer, there’s no way to make a move right now; they can’t contain the Bug King at all. What the hell is the Federation up to, not deploying Su Mo to restrain the Bug King?"

By now, Beilo had also caught on to the cunning ploys used by Spade before.

Although the Federation’s IV generation Mechas and their pilots were strong, they were still a notch below the Gluttonous Mecha and Su Mo.

"But, the pressure from the insect swarm is mounting; I’m worried we won’t be able to hold out,"

"We have to hold out even if we can’t, tell the troops on the flanks to speed up! Once they’re done, they must hurry back to defend. This is a chance for our Yanas Kingdom to rise, and I will not allow any mistakes,"

Beilo said as she looked over the entire battlefield scan. Of course, she could see the main battlefield was turning disastrous. With the Bug King joining the battle, those damned insects were acting as if they had been given steroids.

Their combat capabilities greatly increased, resulting in soaring casualty rates among their own troops.

If not for the occasional carpet bombing from the Green Gore and Black Brilliance, their front might have already collapsed.

"Understood,"

replied Eriga, his resolve hardening.

"The opportunity hasn’t arrived yet, but we can start preparing,"

Beilo suddenly said, lifting her head.

"Understood,"

Eriga quickly responded.

...

On planet C185, Su Mo piloted the Gluttonous Mecha following the Fake Owner’s instructions to a rolling mountain range.

The whole mountain range was filled with insect nests.

Normally, a large number of Red Cicada Flying Insects would tunnel out of the nests to attack.

But just as the Fake Owner·Swallower had predicted, most of the insects had left their nests to join the battle, making this place relatively safe.

Without pausing, Su Mo controlled the Gluttonous Mecha and, following the Fake Owner·Swallower’s guidance, rushed towards the entrance of one of the massive insect nests.

He quickly entered the deep tunnel.

The tunnel was extremely dark, almost completely devoid of light.

Yet, it was surprisingly spacious, hundreds of meters in height, probably meant for the passage of the Bug King.
