Chapter 761: Chapter 600: Evil God (Extra Chapter for Silver Alliance Leader Arain) (Part 3)

Additionally, they seem to be quite wealthy. Su Mo noticed that many of the plants grown here are pretty rare.

Soon, Su Mo arrived at the living room, and he found a spot to sit down.

The living room was empty, with no one in sight.

As Su Mo waited in utter boredom, he suddenly felt something off.

Suddenly, he jerked his head to the right and saw a pink sphere whoosh past, narrowly missing a sneak attack on his head.

At that moment, the pink mechanical sphere circled back, and Su Mo’s heart sank, ready to deal with it.

Then, a gentle voice sounded.

"Xiao Zhou, don’t cause trouble."

Instantly, the mechanical sphere stopped in its tracks.

Su Mo turned his head and saw Miss Jialan wrapped in a bath towel, hurrying down. Her skin was white with a hint of red, and her wet hair was scattered over her shoulders, beneath her heroic face was an infinite allure. He awkwardly greeted her.

"Ahem, Miss Jialan."

"Kid, if your eyes wander again, I’ll gouge them out."

Xiao Zhou said, irate.

"Xiao Zhou, stop it, Su Mo is not a stranger. Su Mo, did you come to see me? Is something the matter?"

Miss Jialan had been happily taking a bath when the maid informed her that Su Mo had come to see her, so she came down.

"I need a little help with something."

Su Mo awkwardly replied.

"You just say it, as long as I can do it."

Miss Jialan replied without hesitation.

"Do you understand the language of the Titan Clan?"

Su Mo asked, full of hope.

"I don’t understand that."

Miss Jialan replied with a smile.

"Alright."

Su Mo replied a bit disappointed, as expected, it was not that easy.

"However, you don’t have to be disappointed, Su Mo. I might not understand it, but Xiao Zhou does, you can ask it."

Miss Jialan joked with Su Mo, a rare occurrence.

"It understands?"

Su Mo looked at the pink mechanical sphere in front of him with some surprise.

Xiao Zhou bristled instantly, retorting with annoyance.

"You looking down on me? I’ve specifically studied this area."

"No, then I’ll trouble you to translate some Titan scripts for me."

Su Mo politely responded, secretly relieved. It was a good thing he hadn’t punched this guy to smithereens earlier, or it would have been incredibly awkward.

"Why should I?"

Xiao Zhou looked at Su Mo more guardedly, as if on alert for a thief.

Miss Jialan walked over, hugged Xiao Zhou, and said with a smile, "Xiao Zhou, help Su Mo out, will you?"

Upon hearing Miss Jialan’s words, Xiao Zhou’s arrogance deflated immediately, and it agreed, begrudgingly.

"Fine then."

"Thank you."

Su Mo quickly took out his phone and pulled up the photos he had taken.

Xiao Zhou floated beside Su Mo and, upon seeing the photographs, exclaimed in awe, "Kid, you’ve actually found a Titan Ruin as well."

"Isn’t this from the one we found?" Miss Jialan asked, puzzled.

"We didn’t see these in that ruin."

Xiao Zhou replied with certainty.

"What’s the use of finding it if it’s just empty, stripped bare of everything. The only thing I gained from it was these."

Su Mo replied with a wry smile.

"That’s quite normal. Over the years, countless people have been searching for the Titan Ruins. The fact that our Hongji Empire could get clues about the Titan Ruins proves that many have already been there before us."

Xiao Zhou wasn’t too surprised by this.

"What information is recorded on these walls?"

Su Mo asked, somewhat urgently.

"Do you think I’m a God, that I can read it just by looking? The writings of the Titan Clan are quite esoteric and difficult to understand. Give me a few minutes to analyze it. Fortunately, my computational power is high; if it were a normal expert trying to decipher this, they wouldn’t make any headway for months."

Xiao Zhou said proudly.

"Okay."

Su Mo quietly waited.

As time ticked by, Su Mo’s heart climbed up to his throat.

Eventually, Xiao Zhou responded gravely, "The interpretation is complete."

"What does it say?"

Su Mo quickly asked.

Xiao Zhou rotated its round mechanical body and projected the holographic images of the photos from Su Mo’s phone.

It then floated above the projection and began to speak.

"These ancient texts speak of the history of the Titan Clan. They roughly state the following: We, the Titan Clan, were once beings comparable to Gods among the myriad species of the Universe; they used to live in the vast and bustling Star Sea, ruling over an entire Star Domain, leading blissful lives. Until one day, a Great Evil God named Akimiga Divineglow appeared, whose minions engulfed the entire Titan Clan. The valiant Titans rose to resist and, after decades of brutal fighting, the Titans were defeated. They were forced to flee their homeland, seeking a new haven in this starry sky to recuperate and await the day of their counterattack. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find a suitable place to settle, only managing to find a barely habitable planet with a harsh environment and frequent Monster attacks. Worse still, the place was rife with a negative virus, infecting many of their people."

After hearing this, Su Mo rubbed his forehead, responding with a slight headache.

"Is that all?"

"There’s more."

Xiao Zhou replied.

"What else is there?"

Su Mo asked eagerly.

"At the very bottom of the photos you took, there’s another pictogram, which represents the meaning of ’king’."

"Is that all?"

"That’s all."

Xiao Zhou answered.

Su Mo took a deep breath; he could now officially confirm that the final results of this exploration of the Titan Ruins had come to fruition – it was a complete loss.

Jialan saw that Su Mo didn’t seem to be in good spirits and asked with concern,

"Su Mo, are you alright?"

"I’m fine."

Su Mo forced a slight smile and said.

Meanwhile, Xiao Zhou mockingly said, "Even without using one’s toes to think, it’s clear that he definitely lost a fortune on this exploration."

Su Mo’s mouth twitched slightly; this AI really did enjoy rubbing salt in the wound.

"Su Mo, did you lose a lot? Do you need help?"

Jialan asked, concerned.

"No need, thank you for your concern. I have some matters to deal with, so I’ll take my leave now."

After taking a long breath, Su Mo said his farewells to Jialan. He felt he could still endure a little longer; it hadn’t come to the point of needing handouts.

"Alright."

Jialan nodded in acknowledgment.

...

On the other hand, in a small conference room aboard the Black Brilliance,

Li Ruiqi, Augustus, Spade, and Karn were sitting together.

"I apologize for not being much of a help this time," Karn said, full of regret.

"Mr. Karn, you’re being too modest; you’ve done your best. It’s just that our luck wasn’t good enough. Though it’s not that we gained nothing, it was just less than we hoped," Spade responded, shaking his head.

"So, what should we do next?" Augustus asked, somewhat agitated. The Black Brilliance was in an awkward position; continuing the exploration didn’t seem right, but neither did stopping.

Li Ruiqi said thoughtfully,

"We need to find a new target now."

"The Universe is so vast, it’s not that easy to find one."

Spade shook his head again and replied.
