I have never felt such anger. When Shiloh was kidnapped by Madam Rose what I felt was fear. Pure fear. But this time, all those feelings were crowded inside my head and chest.

The anger that I can’t put on anyone because after hearing Shiloh’s conversation on the phone I know that he gave himself to his father voluntarily. This was not a kidnapping.

When I realized that Shiloh wasn’t at home and had left his phone on the bed, I immediately called George. I asked him to bring everyone who could to find where Shiloh was.

And when all the messages he deleted were restored, I could only remain silent.

"Gruvv, Gil manipulated Shiloh, he went to meet his father against his will." Father said that to me who was covering my eyes with my hands. I had been silent on the chair since before, unable to think clearly what I should do.

"Why didn’t you tell him what you do? You didn’t tell him why you took him out of Madam Rose’s place?" Cross peppered me with questions that I couldn’t answer.

I swallowed hard, trying to control all the emotions I was feeling. I need to calm down so I can think clearly, I need to get Shiloh back and also catch Gil. I had to take out the root. If I take Gil’s word for it and let him hang around and even live, this will continue.

I’m sure, for the next time, my child will be the victim.

"Gil, you didn’t kidnap Shiloh. He came to you of his own free will. Then, why should I save him?"

I could feel tremendous goosebumps hearing my own voice say that. Cross grabbed my shoulders but Father shook his head, send a signal for Cross to stay calm and trust me.

Oh, Father, even I don’t trust myself.

I don’t know if what I’m doing is right or wrong.

I just want to finish this all as soon as possible.

"Are you really going to do this, Gruvv?" Gil spoke again.

"I saw the CCTV footage, and heard your conversation on the phone with Shiloh. There was no coercion. You asked him to meet you and come with you, he agreed. He came back to you, his father. So what’s wrong with that?"

"GRUVV!!!!!" The voice boomed on the other end of the line.
