Demonic Skeleton God
Chapter 9: Warrior Class

Chapter 9: Warrior Class

[Tip: Your class will evolve when you reach the required level again and again.]

Without hesitation, Flain clicked on Warrior because he alreadynsidered himself one and had no intention of changing that.

[You have chosen the Warrior class]

[You have unlocked a new title: Warrior]

[You have unlocked quests.]

[You havempleted the quest: Rescuing Itai from bandits.]

[+Evolution Shard]

[You havempleted the quest: Learning Itai's backstory.]

[+Emerald Ring]

[Emerald Ring: You will deal +30% poison damage. Strength +3]

[Tip: Quests are always hidden, so you will never receive a notification that a quest is available. Completing quests grants you random rewards.]

Flain was once again overwhelmed by multiple system windows, and a ring appeared in his palm. He read through all the system notifications.

'Quests? I don't mind that. This ring is a nice reward. Though I probably won't be using the poison damage boost for a long time,' Flain thought as he put it on his finger. He then checked the warrior title.

[Your armor has latched onto you.]

[Warrior

You are or were ammon warrior. This class ismmon and not difficult to acquire, but it provides bonuses: 5% resistance to physical attacks and a 10% increase in your damage for physical attacks.]

'This isn't anything amazing, but every bonus helps,' Flain thought.

He then equipped the same armor and chose the same weapons from the bandits. Now, he was sure heuld handle those wolves—his level was higher, he had gained somembat experience with dual swords, and he had slightly memorized their movements. Besides, in the 11th attempt, he had almost won.

Flain would have smirked if heuld. Their fate was now sealed...

Everything happened the same way again. Itai told his backstory, then they set off in search of civilization, with Flain once more carrying the sack filled with loot from the men on his back.

At the exact same spot, wolves jumped out of the bushes at them again. Itai ran off to hide. Flain threw down the sack and faced them. Itai once again shouted an euraging phrase from behind.

Flain immediately lunged at them. The wolves dodged and jumped back. Then, they started using their usualmbo attack—from the front and from behind.

The wolves charged at Flain from opposite directions. This time, Flain was ready and dodged. He appeared behind the wolf attacking from the front and slashed its back twice.

Then, he leaped onto the wolf, pinning it to the ground before stabbing through its head.

[+290 EXP]

Unfortunately, it was too late—the remaining wolf rushed him from behind and bit into Flain's back with all its strength. Flain had expected something like this to happen, but losing HP in exchange for killing one of the wolves was definitely worth it.

[-50 HP]

Flain turned and jumped back a little from the wolf. The wolf didn't hesitate and lunged at him again. Flain blocked its attack, and the wolf bit into his sword.

While the wolf was biting down, Flain kicked it as hard as heuld from below, sending it flying through the air with a whimper.

Flain didn't hesitate and rushed toward the wolf. It was on the ground, trying to get up, but it was already too late. Flain aimed one of his swords and pierced its head.

[+280 EXP]

Flain looked at therpse. "Hmh," he murmured.

Itai crawled out of the bushes. "Good job again, Flain," he said.

Flain hadn't gained mastery with dual swords yet, so he still wasn't as skilled with them as he was with a dagger. As he looked at the blood on therpses, he suddenly remembered that he had the title Bloodthirsty, which granted him 5% more damage when he had blood on his hands.

Flain stepped toward therpses, took off his gloves, and dipped both hands in their blood.

[Blood hasvered your hands. You will be 5% stronger.]

"Flain, what are you doing now?" Itai's voice came from behind.

"I'm testing if the blood is toxic," Flain lied.

"Why would it be toxic? They're just normal Blue-White Wolves," Itai argued.

Then, something occurred to Flain. "Wait, since a necromancer can reviverpses, can't you bring these wolves back to life?" he asked.

"No, that was explained at the beginning of the book. There are two basic types of undead: skeletons and zombies. Ofurse, there are more kinds, but these are the most fundamental. When you raise arpse with more than 50% of its flesh intact, it turns into a zombie. If it has less than 50%, the flesh falls off, leaving only a skeleton. The problem is that summoning zombies and skeletons requires two different spells. The book only teaches how to summon skeletons, not zombies. If we wanted to turn these wolves into skeletons, we'd have to remove more than half of their flesh. And by the time we did that, I'd probably die of hunger, hahaha," Itai explained.

Flain processed all the information and nodded.

"Theserpses should have some value. But if we put them in the sack with the stuff from those men, everything would getvered in blood. So, we'll put them in a separate sack," Itai said, handing Flain another sack.

"Where do you even get these sacks?" Flain asked as he placed therpses inside.

"Before I disappeared, we were supposed to receive a shipment oftton. So, I had sacks with me—they were meant for storage," Itai explained.

Once Flain was done, they set off again. Flain was now carrying two sacks on his back, holding them with one hand while carrying both of his swords in the other.

They walked for about ten minutes before something happened. They were moving side by side, with Flain in the lead and Itai right behind him. Flain took a step forward. Suddenly, a cracking sound echoed through the air.

TTTTTRRRRRRGGGGG

Without warning, the ground beneath themllapsed. Flain didn't even have time to react before he was falling into darkness. He closed his eyes, expecting death.

He hit the ground, feeling his bones shatter, and sensed Itai beside him.

'Hmh? I didn't die,' Flain thought.

[-65 HP]

He then opened his eyes and stood up. He was in some kind of cave, and in front of him stretched a vast valley enclosed by rocky walls.

Flain looked at the spot where he had landed. It was swampy mud. He wasvered in it, unsure if his armor was damaged since it wasmpletely caked in filth. But luckily, none of his limbs were missing...
