It’s being thirty minutes since it began, the battle for the last S ranked student yet to be recruited into a guild, using the Koght Law of the Shelton Royal Academy, during the Guild recruitment program.

A designated student is granted the opportunity to tie himself as the price of the event!

Installing a competition in hopes of having that student to themselves, Guilds are given the opportunity to compete with one another or defeat that designated student according to the rules of the competition.

And the only rule of this competition is to defeat the S ranked student, Varis Bridge!

The fervent wind blew intensely, scattering debris of the catastrophe into the air, the cinders of the chaos were evident, S ranked students were the MVPs but that didn’t stop them from bringing in casualties.

Bodies of A ranked students were all scattered!

Since killing in forbidden in the Shelton Royal Academy unless it’s necessary, Varis Bridge knocked them all out, unconcious bodies were piled up together, none were left out, A ranked students.

B ranked students and C ranked students!

Varis’s spear never discriminated and it attacked all, pummeling those who stood against him, sitted on the bodies he piled up together, he breathed a loud sigh, his chaotic waves of auras shook the atmosphere.

He possessed one of the most terrifying auras amongst the freshmen but his physical strength is on a different level, a power that cannot be easily compared with, bored by the weaklings he entertained with.

He stayed for a few minutes....still bored, aiming for a standard battle!

One after the other, S ranked students from the Imperium Empire made their appearance, they emerged from the darkness, surrounding Varis Bridge who remained sitted on the piled up bodies.

" Hmph.....It seems it’s starting to get serious "

" Fighting against S ranks is more better than fighting against this mere weaklings, they didn’t even last a minute against me, how am I supposed to enjoy myself after invoking the Koght’s law? "

Varis questioned.

His eyes unleashed intense radioactive auras, despite his young age.....he’s already an expert in the field of battle pressure, he descended down from the bodies, Varis landed on his feets but what he met was a combined attack!

Two S ranked students charged against him, merging their blades with their auras, they swung their attacks against Varis who deflected them with his spear, Varis movements were precise and calculative.

Using a normal spear art!

It was enough to fire an explosive beam with a second thrust, the S ranked students fell back swiftly, aiming to devise an oppresive strategy against him but Varis wasn’t going to let them have their way.

He supersped, covering the distance between the two S ranked students, he tossed his spear into the air, grabbed the two S ranks by the face and they were both slammed into the ground, the impact caused violent waves.

Seeing their fellow S ranked students in such a state motivated them to attack in unison, all the S ranks from the Imperium Empire charged against Varis Bridge, and Varis welcomed them with his own punch.

The air surrounding his fist burned by his sudden release of his charging auras!

The S ranks were all pummeled by the chaotic attacks of Varis Bridge, their bodies scattered across the field, this came as a shock.....the Imperium Empire were famous within the academy for producing the most S ranked students.

But yet.....they are nothing compared to the force of Varis Bridge!

" I was told you are the son of a Northern Supreme General of the Vahallan Empire right? belonging to the family of the spear but that doesn’t just make up for your ridiculous strength "

A voice uttered from the shadows and Varis drifted his attention towards the owner of the voice, approaching footsteps drew closer when an entity walked out of the darkness, purple haired and black eyes.

Standing at six foot and four inches tall, he’s an S ranked student but on a different level!

" This guy....he’s strong " Varis said to himself, he could tell with just a single glance, It’s as expected, after all....the figure standing before him is the crown prince of the Imperium Empire, a powerhouse.

" You’re not attacking straight away.....It seems you have evaluated me and confirmed my strength, is that correct? " He asked.

" And what if I did? " Varis questioned!

" Well it’s not a bad thing if such thing happens, I should properly introduce myself, the name is Neo and I’m the Guildmaster of the Cain Guild, a Guild that deals with only the strong, if you join my Guild "

" No one will be able to hold a candle against you, you will surely....." The S ranked student, Neo wasn’t able to complete his statement when he got Interuppted by Varis Bridge, stunned by the intense flow of auras.

A smirk escaped his lips.

" Hmph, so this is your final answer huh? very well then, If I’m going to bring you to my side, It’s best to show you that I’m stronger than you, I prefer my dog’s being submissive " Neo declared, he reached out for his sword.

Unsheathing his blade without hesitation!

Varis Bridge stretched forth his hand and his spear flew towards his direction, without a single care, he advanced towards Neo, swinging his flexible spear across space itself, his display ignited fear in the hearts of many!

But Neo stood firmly, unchanged!

" If you’re stronger than me then I’ll serve you but I doubt you can even make me one of your men, after all....I’m stronger than you " Varis declared, within seconds, his presence was nowhere.

He appeared right before Neo, swinging down his spear with more pressure!

Neo swiftly evaded the spear attack but that was only just the beginning, Varis reacted to Neo’s movements when he directed a thrust, firing the space twisting beam of corrosive auras against Neo.

Neo counterattacked, blocking the blast against him with his own attack, he tightened his grip on his blade when he supersped, charging against the ferocious Varis Bridge, he appeared right behind Varis.

" Shadow Steps, Fourth Epistle "

" Bladed Shadow of Neighereith " Neo chanted, his blade released intensed pitch black auras, burning the air with so much ferocity, he swung his blade, aiming for the neck of Varis Bridge, he never held back.

He wasn’t going to hold back against a being whom he believed was physically stronger than him but to his suprise, Varis countered the attack, infact his blade landed on the skin of Varis Bridge.

But it never pierced through the intense skin of Varis, sensing this Neo fell back, creating distance between them but the distance was short-lived, Varis Bridge counterattacked seconds later!

Pummeling Neo down before he could even react to the attack!

[Meanwhile]

The battle is being watched by Princess Violet, Prince Klaus, Alyssa Crozman and the S ranked student from the Szerch Republic, they watched as Varis pummelled and knocked out Neo, the Guildmaster of the infamous Cain Guild.

Stunned by his level of brute force and his strength!

" Geez, it looks like I won’t be getting involved in this competition, Varis is more of a terror than I thought he would be, it seems he was holding back quite too well during the caravan ritual " the voice of Princess Violet was heard.

She’s seen sitted on a tree branch while Prince Klaus stayed on the ground, his arms folded and his back resting on the tree, their attentions were fixed on the ongoing disasters that’s currently happening.

" I can see that.....he’s going to make a good general when I become the Emperor but what do you think needs to be done? do you think he can be defeated? " Prince Klaus questioned!

" Ofcourse he can be defeated, but for that to happen....you have to fight for real this time tho, he ain’t a simple opponent you can hold back against, do you plan on recruiting him? " Princess Violet asked.

" Yes but I don’t think I’ll be the one getting my hands on him, you see....the Tempest Guild created by Kyle Reinhart has a few members in it, including those two heirs who are both A ranks "

" I have a feeling he will be making his way here, perhaps he is on his way here already " Prince Klaus explained, Violet’s eyes squinted at his words!

" And you’re ok with giving him just a dog who should be under your leash? " She asked.

" Are you forgetting the rules of this competition? whoever defeats Varis Bridge gets to have him under their leash, if Varis is defeated by Kyle Reinhart then he will added to my top ten list, he may grow to be a weed "

" Disrupting my plans to unify the continent, tonight will decide if Kyle Reinhart must die in this academy "
