" Commander, shouldn’t this place be a war zone? " A question was asked.

The gates leading into the Mongol County was opened for them by the watch guards, soldiers whose duties are to watch the wall and protect it, the were ushered into the land only to be suprised by what they saw.

An eerie domain filled with utter silence!

Although there isn’t any signs of war ongoing, the land was basically dead, a space of famine, civilians suffered miserably and the rate of poverty skyrocketed, the government itself got richer while the poor became poorer.

" Yes, from the executive order I received.....there should be an ongoing coup d’etat, why isn’t there any? " Commander Dylan asked himself, he rode his horse through the villages of the Mongol County.

He brought a total of six hundred soldiers with him, the rest were left outside!

He did that so they wouldn’t be able to predict his military power, only thirty mages were tagged along, and a hundred knights from the knight faction came along, under Ser Jiyer who followed the commander in!

" The executive order from the Senate wouldn’t lie, they have no reason to...I believe a coup did happen but it was silenced before it could even spread, but isn’t this land dead already? the Rutherford Barony has more life compared to this "

Ser Jiyer said, comparing the old Rutherford Barony to this county!

Even though the Rutherford Barony was in a sorrowful state, they weren’t this sorrowful, this is on a different level compared to those times, Ser Jiyer knew this and he is prepared for anything that’s to come.

" Brace yourself....since there isn’t any conflict, our role as a peacekeeping force has no impact here, but there’s something strange about this land.....we’re not leaving until we get to its roots " Commander Dylan declared.

It took them more than thirty minutes before they arrived at the capital town of the Mongol County, unlike the rest of the county, this place is more lively considering it’s the home of many government officials.

They were shown hospitality by the people and they were given an area to dwell in, the visitor’s estate created to house an entire army if necessary, they settled in the estate to discuss what they are going to do next!

Only Ser Jiyer followed Commander Dylan, the mages had their own ranks but their leading figure is lower in ranks, so he couldn’t contribute unless questions were asked of him by Commander Dylan.

Commander Dylan is seen sitted in one of the buildings located in the estate!

Ser Jiyer is sitted with them, the chief captain of the military faction, Touska Jigiwe, since he’s newly appointed into this position, there’s nothing much known about him, all that’s known about him is that he is the Commander’s loyalist.

" Initially before we arrived into this estate, I ordered the mages to secretly communicate with the citizens of this county, to gather Informations regarding the situations of this land but I couldn’t find anything "

" Basically, a coup d’etat did happen but within a single light, all traces of the resistance were wiped clean, and there’s quite the reports of missing people, within the ungoldy hours of the night ’

" It’s rumored that a black fog appears only to devour citizens, and all traces of the missing men and women were completely erased, but none are yet to be confirmed dead " Commander Dylan explained.

" Hmmmm....this is quite a complicated case, Commander "

" I don’t know what’s happening within this land but I believe it’s just like the Rutherford Barony until our liege liberated us, the fucked up government.....we should purge them out " Ser Jiyer uttered.

" Well that’ll be possible if we have a distinctive evidence against them, even though we are a special force as confirmed by the Duke himself, we can’t go around destroying governments " Commander Dylan explained.

Ser Jiyer scoffed at his words, if it was up to him....he would go all out.

The door leading into the room opened up after a few knocks and a soldier walked in, he bowed his head before the high ranked officers of the Black Corp before stating the reasons he is here for!

" What is it? " Commander Dylan questioned!

" Commander, an envoy of the Count is here to see you, he’s been waiting since.... should I bring him in? " The soldier asked, Commander Dylan turned his gaze, facing Ser Jiyer before he gave his approval.

" Let him in " Commander Dylan ordered.

The soldier left and a few minutes later, an old looking figure walked into the scene, dressed in a butler’s suit, a bright smile appeared on his face when he respectfully bowed his heads before the entities sitted before him.

" I greet the Commander of the special force, the Black Corps.....I’m here as a representative of the Mongol adminstration, since there’s no violence for you guys to get involved, we desire to offer you a feast "

" In compensation, we wasted your efforts, your strengths and determination to protect our land " the butler spoke out.

" I see and who is hosting the feast? " Commander Dylan asked!

" Who else will be hosting if it isn’t the Count himself, his grace graciously invites you to his feast " the butler answered and his eyes squinted, although he tried concealing it perfectly but it leaked out.

The demonic energies residing in his body and a smirk escaped his lips.

" Very well then, inform his grace that I graciously accepts his feast invitation and I’ll be there to celebrate his longstanding as the Count " Commander Dylan stated, the butler left afterwards, the eyes of Commander Dylan squinted.

" That was demonic energy just now, wasn’t it? " Ser Jiyer questioned, they were taught the art of sensing unnatural powers such as demonic energies and divine energies, Kyle gave them this knowledge for a reason.

" Yes, that’s truly demonic energy but it’s too toxic for it to be within the body of a human, I don’t know what that man but he ain’t a demonic worshipper, we have to get to the roots of everything and put an end to this suffering "

" Send an order to the troops positioned outside of the County, they will wait in their stations until I’ve gotten a clear understanding of what’s happening in this land, if we will be going to war against this adminstration "

A femine voice questioned, double horned, purple haired and black eyes, a demonic figure could be seen resting her back on the wall, a smirk escaped her lips, her eyes fixed on the black haired entity standing before her.

Slowly adjusting the buttons on his suit, he whistled softly.

They are both demons whose levels are the same, noble demons.....baron rank, he turned his gaze, glancing at the monstrosity smirking at him, he kept his sterned gaze when he slowly approached a table beside him.

He grabbed a cup from the table but instead of wine, what’s in the cup is blood, human blood!

" Within five years of my stay in this dimension, I’ve acquired ninety nine percent of all the necessary ingredients to trigger the cataclysm, only the dragon’s heart remains, the dragon race were wiped from this world "

" It took place hundreds of thousands of years before we were even born, I’ve searched the entirety of this space in hopes of finding the last dragon heart that’s said to exist in this area but I couldn’t find any " He spoke out.

" True, but I don’t plan on reaching there in the first place, I’m from the lowest rank in the noble tree, I cannot get involved with a man who has slained Dukes in the previous great war " He explained.

" Well it’s understandable but you should understand things have gotten serious when they send a fellow ranked demon to question you, through our alliance....the cataclysm is the key to the terror in which the dark continent will exercise "

" You have only a month to begin the cataclysm or I’ll be taking over "

She declared, without hesitation....she vanished from the scene, leaving him to the fresh blood within the cup he held, a smirk escaped his lips....his eyes flickered, releasing demonic energies into the air.

He chuckled out loud!

" A month huh? there’s no need for the time to be extended for that long....after all, the dragon heart is coming to me, I don’t need to chase it anymore, all I have to do is kill its owner and before I return back to Hell "
