Chapter 49: Chapter 49: Accessment

" Whe....where....where am I? "

His voice echoed vastly, his eyes opened up to a deserted world, a space filled with furnace and chaos, lands scorced by the blazing flames, he stood with a confounded look on his face, stacked naked.

" What’s this world? " He asked.

With a confused gaze, he took a step forward, his movements caused the ground to quake, the ground broke down, he found himself falling into the depths of the absolute blackness, bewildered by what he saw.

He tried his best to hold onto something, he tried moving his body but what came next became the most bizzare experience, falling into the depths of the unknown, all his bones were fractured when he hits the ground.

Groaning out loud in pains, he crawled!

His pain were evident, struggling despite his cracked and twisted bones, his gaze only saw what’s in the darkness, a voidless plain filled with nothingness, he screamed out loud as he struggled.

" I don’t know where I am but don’t think I would allow myself to be devoured by something I have no idea of, I won’t die a worthless death " His voice echoed in the darkness, the sounds of his bones cracks was heard.

He remained standing while rearranging his bones back!

He breathed a sigh of relief, breathing in the refreshing air, within seconds....the air became corrosive, filled with acid and he breathed acid, his lungs burned, struggling to breath in air, he collasped aggressively on his knees.

Within a minute....the blackness faded and all that was unleashed was the absolute flames, the entirety of space burned intensively, while on his knees....he slowly raised his head, glaring into the air.

His eyes widened in shock!

Kneeling before the descending dragon, a black scaled dragon, the size of three mountains combined, just staring into the eyes of this mighty beast, his heart raced intensively, spreading black veins across his flesh!

His eyes glowed brightly green!

The black dragon made its landing, releasing clouds of dusts into the air, the mana surrounding them isn’t an ordinary one, draconic mana, a power created to battle against the divine and the demonic!

" SO THIS IS THE CHAMPION OF MY OWNER HUH? I BELIEVED HE WOULD MAKE USE OF ME PERSONALLY BUT TO THINK HE CHOSE SOMEONE ELSE! "

" I’LL GIVE YOU A CHANCE....PROVE YOURSELF WORTHY OF OWNING ME!! "

The draconic voice uttered, etched with terror.....all were pulverized, all that existed were the cinders, a prove of the destruction that has already occured, the black dragon stretched forth it’s right hand.

It’s claws pierced through the chest of the target, fueling his body with burning light!

Ser Tristan slowly opened his eyes to himself laid flat on the ground, covered in his own pool of bloods, his clothes already soaked in bloods, he rose up from the ground, he remained dumbstrucked.

Still processing all that has occurred in just a short time span!

" Welcome back to the living, It seems it accepted you, I was expecting some struggles " the voice of Kyle Reinhart was heard, Ser Tristan turned towards the darkness, sitted magestically in the darkness.

And with a cup of wine on his hand, a smirk appeared on his lips!

Ser Tristan quickly recognized the figure sitted before him, he fell on his knees and bowed his head before the figure, Kyle couldn’t help but giggle at what he saw, he expected Ser Tristan to have reacted strangely.

" Ser Tristan, do you remember what happened to you? " Kyle asked.

" Yes I do, you pierced me with your hand and ripped out my heart, I woke up only to find myself in a strange world, talking to a dragon and all.... although my memories remains vague but I understand quite a few things "

Ser Tristan explained.

" I see, and you do not despise me for doing that? " Kyle asked.

" If it were to be someone else then I would despise you and plot your death the moment I opened my eyes back into this world but you are a different case, you wouldn’t just kill me because you can "

Ser Tristan answered.

" He-he-he-he, that’s funny because I definitely would, you should already know me by my actions, starting from the Rutherford Barony, the red night incident, do you really think I’m a man who would care about such things as right and wrong? "

" No, I simply do things because I have the power to, It doesn’t matter who dies or lives, and it seems my experiment was a success.....you have awakened the dragon heart, you are a draconic human "

Kyle said and Ser Tristan rose up to his feets!

He knew there were a few changes but he didn’t know what they were in particular, His physique had change, he’s now more muscular, he could feel power surging within his body but there’s something strange about him.

A power which influences his adaptation ability, thanks to the skill, originally he would have had his auras turn into mana considering dragons are intellectual mana beasts but he’s possession of draconic auras.

His speed and strength has tremendously increased and this gladdened the heart of Kyle Reinhart, Ser Tristan isn’t just a normal strong mortal anymore, with precise training and mastery.

He will become his strongest sword!

Ser Tristan made his way out of the dorm room, leaving Kyle to his thoughts, he stood guard outside the dorm room, since this isn’t during school periods, he’s free to cut down anyone who dares his liege!

And Enzerath manifested itself, taking the form of a crow, it landed on the shoulders of Kyle Reinhart, it’s eyes glowed brightly, covering the atmosphere in absolute pitch blackness!

Waves of shock was unleashed against all, running through the woods without stopping, he held his spear fiercely, covering distance with ease, it took him a few minutes before he arrived at the western jungle of the Cradier Island.

The jungle which is only a few hundred kilometers away from the academy!

Varis Bridge glanced at the sky with a bright smile seen on his face, he tightened his grip on his spear, standing at six foot and four inches tall, being the son of a regional supreme general of the Vahallan Empire.

He had access to the best spearmanship martial arts but he created his own through sheer efforts, a level of 28, just two levels below the highest ranked level in the freshmen league, Kyle Reinhart.

He is a level above Prince Klaus!

" I know I’m supposed to spend my time in the Academy’s premises but it’s quite boring there, If I’m going to train.... it’s best if it’s out here " Varis Bridge spoke out, this is the first time he has spoken out.

He watched the birds fly effortlessly and animals of the Island moving freely, he couldn’t help it, he smiled sheepishly, enjoying the wonders of nature when he sensed something, he caught a charging arrow with ease.

His expression darkened swiftly, his eyes squinted!

" What a suprise, to think the Assasin League would send assasins of this level against me, haven’t my father paid the necessary fines for my actions? haven’t I tender an heartfelt apology? " He questioned.

His voice etched with venom, with a few minutes....he’s surrounded by a total of a dozen assasins, all cladded in black ninja uniform, they were scattered across the field, all surrounding him.

But he stood unfazed and unshakened by the assasins!

" Varis Bridge, did you really think you could get away with anything just because your father is the northern supreme general? you killed one of us.....we are not here as assasins of the League "

" We are here for revenge " One of the assasins declared, he vanished from the scene, his speed and movements were on a different level, covering the distance between them....he swung his blade with ease.

Aiming to behead Varis Bridge on sight!

The blade strucked the neck of Varis but instead of Varis being beheaded by that attack, the blade was shattered into pieces, the assasin was stunned by what he saw but it was too late for him to evade.

A single swing of Varis’s spear sliced him in half, releasing waves of shock into the air, trees were cut down by that fierce attack!

A smirk appeared on the lips of Varis!

" Since you guys weren’t sent by the Assasin League, I guess I have no reason to hold back right? after all, you came despite knowing I’ve earned the forgiveness of the League " Varis declared, he took a step forward.

Releasing his violent auras into the air!

And the assasins all attacked at once, using their ninjustu to attack but against a walking tank like Varis Bridge, they were all ineffective, it didn’t take more than a minute before they were all wiped out.

Their corpses scattered across the jungle, trees were destroyed and animals were affected by the fierce attack of Varis Bridge.

This is the power of an S ranked!!
