Chapter 376: Chapter 376: Dare to Move? Don’t Dare, Don’t Dare.
Iyas tried to dodge aside, but the speed of the ice magic was too fast. Unable to evade it in time, Iyas’s uncovered hand was sliced open, revealing half of her hidden face once again.
A delicate, short-haired youth emerged from the streets, rotating a Magic Cube in his hand, fearlessly approaching Iyas,
"Overturning someone else’s carriage and just leaving like this, isn’t that somewhat inappropriate?"
How is he here?
Iyas recognized him at a glance. He was none other than one of the mysterious individuals who had recently been conversing cheerfully with Yang Yu.
Although Yang Yu had spoken softly then, Iyas had still heard that the mysterious person was very likely a member of Red Blood Rose.
Iyas didn’t know how strong Gordon’s abilities were, but the Killing Intent imbued in that ice magic was definitely no trifling matter.
Going head-to-head with him would only lead to a dead end.
Realizing that she absolutely could not afford a drawn-out battle, Iyas began to turn to flee, only for a silver-white arm to burst out of the ground.
"You won’t escape so easily after knocking over my beloved carriage."
Pomegranate Granny thrust her cane into the door of the carriage, activating the magic "Silver Claw," which reached through the crevices of the ground and firmly grasped Iyas’s heel.
Iyas immediately pulled out her bows and arrows and used "Light Arrow" to pin the magically formed arm to the ground.
This, however, gave Gordon the opportunity to use his magic.
"Earth Cage."
Chanting the spell, Gordon lifted his right foot and slammed it down on the ground. Walls sprang up from all around Iyas, blocking her escape.
Drawing her bows and arrows, Iyas shot several arrows between two adjacent walls, creating grooves she leveraged to climb up.
But as soon as Iyas stood on the wall, Gordon’s searing Fireball followed, setting her long robe on fire. Without a choice, Iyas quickly tore off the robe and threw it aside.
Suddenly, the ground under Iyas’s feet shook, and several walls plummeted, restoring the surrounding area to flat land.
"You move unexpectedly well... Hmm, on closer inspection, have we met somewhere before?" Gordon’s twisting of the Magic Cube halted as he searched his memory, then a realization flashed, "I remember now, it was back in the Goblin Maze...
Tell me, why are you doing this, and who instructed you to do so?"
Cautiously pulling her bows and arrows, Iyas responded, "No one instructed me; I just wanted some information from their lips. I’ve already got the information I needed, can I go now?"
"Let you go? I’m afraid it’s not that simple. Hijacking a vehicle, disturbing public order—just these two points alone make it impossible to let you off easily. Regardless of your reasons, you’ve caused damage to this city and incited unrest; you have to stay and deal with the consequences."
Staying was absolutely not an option for Iyas; Hei Yao had already discovered her identity. Following them would only lead to becoming a slave, being re-entered into the Slave Auction House, and sold off.
"Please allow me to refuse! I have more important things to do right now, I absolutely cannot stop here."
Aiming at Gordon, she released a silver arrow which streaked through the air like a silver snake, directly stabbing towards Gordon’s shoulder.
Seizing the moment, Iyas bolted.
"Is this your choice? Reasoning with you nicely doesn’t work, then I have no choice but to capture you by force."
Tremendous Magic Power emanated from Gordon, turning into a sharp blade, slicing Iyas’s shot arrow into two.
As the Giant Wave gathered in Gordon’s hands, it formed into a glowing sphere the size of a bowling ball.
But before Gordon could act, a woman with a pockmarked face and glasses appeared in front of Iyas, pressing her Magic Wand against Iyas’s chest, which almost made Iyas stumble and fall.
Sister Ajing formed a spike purely made of Magic Power in her hand, pointing it directly at Iyas.
"If you dare move, the magic in my hand will completely pierce through your chest!"
Iyas broke out in a cold sweat; she recognized the woman as the very imposing figure from the other day, someone definitely not to mess with.
Sister Ajing, who could easily knock her down, didn’t even glance at her but instead fixed her gaze on an alley,
"How long do you plan to watch from there? Are you coming out yourself, or should I drag you out?"
Her voice echoed in the alley, and two figures emerged from the shadows.
"True to the people of Red Blood Rose, your eyes can’t be deceived."
Yang Yu, looking helpless, raised his hands to show he had no intention to fight, while Bai Jin closely followed, her eyes fixed on Iyas in the middle of the battlefield, clenching her hands involuntarily at her chest.
At this moment, Bai Jin truly wished that their encounter with Iyas on the street had been a lie.
But reality is often cruel.
Faced with such a tragic scene around her, Bai Jin knew this was not something that could just be ignored.
"If you don’t want my magic to tear you to shreds, you’d better behave and not try any tricks."
Sister Ajing’s words were filled with displeasure; since returning from the Goblin Maze, she felt more and more that Yang Yu was hiding something.
But she had a feeling that even if she pressed him now, she wouldn’t get any results.
Thus, Wanjing Zhuhua decided not to waste time on this.
Seeing Yang Yu and Bai Jin appear, Iyas was so shocked by the sudden turn of events that she blanked out, quickly covering her face like a child caught doing something wrong.
But when she realized she could no longer hide anything from Yang Yu, she slowly lowered her hands.
Now, the only person who could break this deadlock was Yang Yu.
However, Yang Yu put on a stern face, as if out of solutions, he pleaded,
"You said not to move, and of course, I wouldn’t dare. But this is all a misunderstanding; if possible, could you let us go?"
Pomegranate Granny used her magic to right the carriage, then, unsteadily descended from it.
"Don’t let them go; they dared to mistreat an elderly woman, they must pay the price. It would be best to hand them over to the Chaoyang Chamber of Commerce; I believe they would make a fair judgment."
Where it benefits you, they will only judge in your favor.
Looking at the chaotic street, the onlooking crowd opened up a path down the middle of the road where a person holding a western umbrella and cradling a kitten appeared, and next to her stood a tall Boxer draped in bear skin.
Like grasping at the last straw, Yang Yu’s tense face regained a smile.
"Your people haven’t all arrived yet; how about we make a judgment when everyone is here?"
