Chapter 167 Fallen Divine Tears
Chapter 167: Chapter 167 Fallen Divine Tears
Misha had intended to create an illusion of "Come hit me, I dare you, I’m invincible," hoping that Yang Yu and his group of Hani would recognize the difficulty and retreat.
Contrary to her plan, Yang Yu didn’t fall for her tricks at all, indicating that he had never heard such a request in his life; without a second word, he directed all the Hani to charge forward and pummel the shielded Misha with a chaotic barrage.
If a regular adventurer encountered this situation, wouldn’t they normally attack for a while, realize that the attack is futile, either give up on taming outright or go back for reinforcements....
What’s going on with this guy?
Is he planning to just brute force it to the end? That’s insanely reckless.
Misha was right in her thinking, Yang Yu was indeed determined to confront her.
Yang Yu lacked high-damage skills and couldn’t think of any way to break through the Magic Shield; one-on-one, Misha’s tactic would indeed become Absolute Defense, making Yang Yu stand no chance.
But, don’t forget, he had brought an army of Hani to tame Misha.
Among this army of Hani, there were many high-level ones, especially the giant blue Hani from the seventh floor and the Boss Hani Guan Er guarding the eighth floor, with levels exceeding 70 and average attributes over 800.
Misha just hovering stationary in mid-air, was practically asking for a proper lesson, and Yang Yu was hardly one to refuse.
As long as she wasn’t dead, they would beat her to an inch of her life!
One side inflicted no damage, the other minimal damage; one didn’t need to think too hard to predict the outcome.
The so-called dripping water wears away stone, tells a story of the stone being the receiver and the water droplet being the attacker.
With enough initiative, even an iron rod can be ground into a needle.
Creatures like Hani need not eat, drink, or sleep; as long as the Hani didn’t lose interest, they were a formidable army disdainful of a 996 work ethic, operating non-stop like 007.
Revered as an Immortal, Yang Yu of course had to make good use of these adorably devoted employees.
Misha was also well aware that continuing this way, failure was only a matter of time.
However, she didn’t plan to surrender without a fight; after all, she had once been a companion of the Ancient Brave Warrior and had confronted the real Demon King. It wasn’t time to give up yet.
At present, there was one method that could completely turn the tide.
That was, to completely destroy the entire Hani Maze.
Magic had no effect on Hani, but the rocks tumbling down from a total collapse of the Hani Maze might not be the same.
Even if the Hani were tenacious in life, not being smashed to pieces by the falling rocks, they would still be buried in thick soil, perplexed and lost.
The important thing was to lead them to attack the Magic Hall where the young man was, so that he too would be swallowed up, dying inside a Hani body amidst loneliness and solitude.
As an unmatched genius, Misha was confident that as she destroyed the Underground Maze, she could weave another Magic Barrier to prohibit any use of Teleportation Magic, completely sealing Yang Yu’s escape route.
But.
There were many rules in the Underground Maze constructed by Lux.
To ensure that the ultimate boss could fight without worries, Lux set up a special Barrier around the core of the ninth floor, merging the ultimate boss’s magic power with the Barrier of the entire room.
No matter how the ultimate boss used magic, it would be absorbed by the Barrier, ensuring that no matter the friction between the ultimate boss and the Tamer on the ninth floor, it wouldn’t damage the well-constructed Maze by causing a collapse that would inundate it.
The Barrier Magic set by Lux was incredibly robust within but exceedingly fragile on the outside.
Under normal circumstances, the Tamer should have progressed through each level, finally being teleported to the enclosed Ninth Floor via a preset Teleportation Array. No one could have imagined that it was possible to dig deeper underground and blast through the rock to enter the Ninth Floor.
However, Yang Yu’s little cleverness gave Misha an opportunity.
Due to the rules of the Underground Maze, Misha, once in a battle status, couldn’t leave the Ninth Floor of her own volition. After all, if the bosses of the Underground Maze were to run amok, then what’s the point for the Tamers?
Her own Magic and the Barrier of the Ninth Floor interacted, rendering Misha unable to internally destroy the maze of the Ninth Floor.
But, as long as she utilized the breach created by Yang Yu, she could bypass the Barrier restrictions of the Ninth Floor and channel her Magic toward the Hani Maze, completely destroying the maze and causing it to collapse.
Go big or go home.
Misha put away the blue Shield,
"High-speed Circuit"
Even if she couldn’t make it to the Eighth Floor of Hani, just having the chance to unleash a major skill beneath the breach was enough.
A colossal blue Hani swung its Sharp Spear toward Misha, who suddenly sped up, circumventing all the Hani to fly toward the breach.
"Fallen Divine Tears"
Her black hair fluttered in the air, and three crimson Magic Blades orbited Misha like satellites. Then, one by one, the blood-colored blades impaled Misha’s chest.
Behind her, as if there was a goddess with unfolded wings, the goddess’ flapping wings shed three feathers.
In the moment the feathers fell, they changed from white to black, and a crystal clear teardrop streamed down from the corner of the goddess’ eye, landing on Misha.
Violent blue light covered Misha. To ensure she could completely destroy the Hani Maze, Misha unleashed the forbidden move once again without reserve.
Looking at Misha’s status panel where her Intelligence became four times as much, Yang Yu’s heart was unfazed, he even felt like laughing a bit.
Chanting Magic, Misha reached out her hand, aiming at the barely visible golden gears of the breach,
"White Destruction Light"
Just at the moment of emitting the Magic Light, Misha caught a glimpse of Yang Yu’s expression—confident and fearless.
That look seemed to tell her that everything she was doing was in vain.
Why can he still have such an expression? He couldn’t possibly not know what I am truly up to, so why does he still have such an expression?
Her heart began to waver, and despite the arrow being notched, she had to release it.
A huge white Magic Array formed in the palm of Misha’s hand, within three layers and beyond three layers, her Magic Power rapidly converging into the Array, turning Misha into a human-shaped laser cannon.
Load, fire, all in the blink of an eye, an aura of destruction overflowed, white light instantly penetrated the breach between the Ninth and Eighth Floors, instantly charring the moist earth into cinder.
The aftermath of "White Destruction Light" completely engulfed Yang Yu and the others, veiling them entirely within the pure white space.
The sound of the Hani Maze collapsing and thundering down, as imagined, didn’t come.
Instead, there was the sound of something lightly falling, leaving Misha puzzled as she looked up. Fragments of all colors rained down from above, slowly piling up at the opening. As if premeditated, they sealed the entire breach tightly, not letting through a sliver of light.
Unable to comprehend what happened, Misha blankly looked towards Yang Yu.
Sitting leisurely with crossed legs, Yang Yu perched atop Hani’s mouth. He looked quite matter-of-fact, smiling, "I’ve said from the beginning, the capabilities of an individual are ultimately limited."
