Chapter 334 - Chapter 334 Chapter 334 Annas Skeleton

Chapter 334: Chapter 334 Anna’s Skeleton Chapter 334: Chapter 334 Anna’s Skeleton “Bang bang bang!”

Seeing this mask, Roger’s heart pounded violently.

Even though the mask was enveloped by a strange energy, Roger could still easily feel a hint of familiarity within it, a familiarity that didn’t come from himself, but from the shattered domino he always carried.

Roger was certain that the material used to make the mask must contain something related to Anna!

That is to say, it was very likely made from Anna’s remains.

“Could it be Anna’s skull?”

Roger carefully examined the mask in Dilio’s hands.

On the surface, the specific style of manufacture could not be discerned, with the cheeks covered in cracks of varying sizes; these cracks didn’t seem to be the result of decay from the passage of time.

Each crack appeared natural, pieced together in a way that, far from making the mask look old, actually gave it an eerie feel.

Look at it for too long, and each gap seemed to writhe like veins.

Yes, just like veins.

Roger even felt that the mask was alive, its slightly pursed lips seemingly ready to bloom into a smile at any moment!

“What is this thing?”

There was also some unrest in the crowd below the stage.

“This is the gate to eternal life!”

Dilio lifted the mask in his hands.

Under the lighting, the bony mask gleamed translucently, revealing even the internal textures clearly.

“Opportunities are not always available, who wants to experience it for themselves?”

Dilio’s voice spread throughout the entire hall, and after the commotion, everyone hesitated.

Just then, a person in a black robe standing beside Roger suddenly raised a hand.

“I… let me try!”

Even through a voice changer, Roger could still detect a quiver in the voice that betrayed extreme weakness, a natural response from the body.

In an instant, all eyes gathered around Roger.

The owner of the voice lifted the hood, revealing a quaint wooden mask, and from under the black robe extended a thin, frail hand covered in sickly age spots.

“Let me have a try!”

He coughed lightly, clearly indicating that the man didn’t have much time left.

The man shakily walked up to the stage.

“What should I do?”

Dilio didn’t make a sound, but Martha, standing by the side, signaled for the man to lie down on the stone table.

The man’s feet faced the audience, and in a place out of their sight, Martha removed the mask from the man’s face, then took the bone mask from Dilio’s hand and gently placed it on the man’s face.

The top part of the stone table slowly rose, tilting the man at a 45-degree angle to display him in front of the crowd.

“What will happen next?”

“Some kind of magic?”

“Or a mysterious ritual?”

Dilio remained silent, slowly stepping aside, while Martha took the initiative to step up to the front of the stage.

“Do you want to be freed from sickness?”

The man lying on the stone table nodded, “The doctor told me I have, at most, three months to live.”

“I possess wealth that rivals nations, have indulged in all earthly luxuries, but in the end, I can’t withstand the ravages of time.”

“I don’t need eternal life, just an additional ten healthy years would suffice!”

“I just want to run freely, savor each bite of delicious food, deeply connect with a woman, even if she weighs twice as much as me!”

“I am willing to pay anything!”

By the end, the man’s voice was filled with hysterical madness.

“As you wish!”

Martha stepped back, and just then, an exceptionally strong black goat sprang up from behind the stage.

Seeing this animal, many in the audience began to feel uneasy.

In many places, the black goat is a symbol of evil, the incarnation of the devil, the best offering to Satan.

Drip, drip, drip.

The crimson blood spilled onto the stage, and it was only then that the crowd noticed a wound had been slashed across the black goat’s neck at some point.

It hopped and ran forward, speeding up the blood loss, as drops of blood fell to the ground.

Hiss!

Suddenly, five sharp black spikes protruded from the periphery of the bone mask. These spikes, translucent, swelled to nearly three meters in an instant, and the next second, the sharp bone pierced through the body of the black goat!

The splattered blood even landed on the masks of several robed figures below the stage.

The people had no time to panic before a horrifying scene unfolded.

The body of the black goat shrank visibly at a speed visible to the naked eye, its fur, muscles, and even bones. Every essence of this animal was being absorbed by the spikes.

Whoosh!

As if it had never existed, the mask on the man’s face returned to normal, followed by the cracks on the mask suddenly expanding, as if they had been filled with an unknown liquid!

“It’s… It’s alive!”

Someone exclaimed in shock as everyone looked towards the stage. At that moment, the slightly parted lips of the mask gently opened, revealing two sharp white fangs poking out!

The corners of the mouth turned up.

The mask smiled!

Crack, crack, crack!

Accompanied by the grating sound of bones cracking, the man on the stone platform screamed in agony as a great deal of blood seeped from the edges of his cheeks where they met the mask.

Then, the entire mask collapsed downwards!

“Release me!”

“Release me!”

The man screamed in a voice that did not match his physical condition, as the reanimated mask embedded itself into the man’s facial bones.

In the midst of the grating noise, it seemed like a monster within the mask was opening its ferocious maw, bit by bit devouring the man’s facial bones.

The screams grew fainter, and within a few breaths, the man stopped struggling, blood flowing on the stone platform, while the mask continued to sink downward.

Until it perfectly fused with the man’s face.

This was no longer a mask.

It looked more like a real human face.

“Dead?!”

A soft sigh broke the silence of the scene, and panic spread rapidly. Just as the scene was about to spiral out of control, the man lying on the stone platform suddenly opened his eyes.

The cracks on the mask were closing, as if the liquid in the veins was being expelled outward, and the man’s body shook. At that moment, a robed figure’s shout diverted everyone’s attention.

“Look at his hands!”

What used to be dry and aged had swiftly become plump, the muscles full, and the skin elastic, the age spots that dotted the surface disappearing within a few breaths.

They were the hands of a young man!

“Click!”

The mask on the man’s face sprang off automatically.

Dilio gestured and the mask flew into his hand.

And the crowd got a clear view of the man’s appearance.

He was a handsome young man around 30 with thick brown hair.

“Clap, clap!”

With a slight exertion of strength, the young man broke free from the bindings on his hands and feet. Feeling the powerful energy surging within him, he couldn’t help but look at his palms and touch the smooth skin on his cheeks.

“This isn’t a dream!”

“I’ve actually become young again!”

A soft gasp came suddenly from below the stage, “Bruno Green, it’s Bruno Green!”

“I have seen photos of him when he was young, oh Lord, he is the media tycoon, already 90 years old!”

The crowd in the room began to go crazy, and at that moment in Roger’s vision, countless strands of bizarre energy radiated outwards, flowing into the depths of the room.

Looking at the mask in Dilio’s hand, Roger furrowed his brows, “Could this thing really be related to Anna?”
