Chapter 370: 151. Elizabeth’s Omnirequest

As Elizabeth casually waved the extraordinarily light Golden Sword in her hand, the searing golden flames grew fiercely intense once more, aiming directly at Moli, the Whale-man Species lying on the ground before her, placed there by the soldiers.

Fisher’s expression changed. He had just thought of stepping forward to intervene when suddenly, the soldiers behind him stood at attention with their spears. Magic Radiance sparkled, and a Thunder Light chain-like bolt spread from those spears straight toward Fisher.

Four-Ring Magic, "Thunder Chain."

"Zzzzzz!"

The Thunder Light chain instantly bound Fisher. The magic did not inflict substantial damage on him but continuously spread a numbing weakness through his body. The more he struggled, the stronger that sense of weakness became.

"It’s okay, Fisher, just wait a bit. After I take care of this fish, we’ll go back, alright?"

Elizabeth spoke with a smile, her voice as gentle as an Angel’s, but the Golden Sword in her hand shone so brightly. She looked at Moli in front of her as if she were viewing a corpse... no, like she was looking at a dead fish.

The golden color of the Flames grew brighter. Elizabeth raised her weapon high, aiming the sword blade directly at Moli below. Fisher struggled once more, but the soldiers beside him also raised their spears and used Thunderbolt Rope to restrain him.

"Moli!"

Elizabeth’s blade drew closer. She raised the Executioner’s Sword high, directing it at Moli. But at the last moment before blood would have flowed like rivers, perhaps awakened by Fisher’s voice, the prone Moli suddenly opened her eyes.

She hadn’t even realized what was happening, but her body, sensing the crisis, had already reflexively reacted. Her tail on the ground thrust forcefully, causing her to roll away and dodge the attack, while the sword continued to spread, carving the ground into uneven paths.

"Fisher? Elizabeth... Your Highness?"

Moli, who had dodgged instinctively, took a quick glance around. Seeing Fisher restrained by the Royal Soldiers, she knew things were dire. She had barely started to ask what was going on when Elizabeth, leaning on her sword, began to laugh,

"This is just perfect. To die in confusion or in clarity, it doesn’t matter. Any way you die is fine... Moli, I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long."

Elizabeth’s hollow eyes slowly fell upon Moli. As her reflection began to appear in Elizabeth’s gaze, the gentle smile ceased abruptly. Elizabeth suddenly raised the Golden Sword, obscuring half her face with the blade and revealing a pair of eyes filled with pure murderous intent,

"I want all women to see the fate that befalls those who get close to Fisher... You’re the first."

In the next instant, she swung her dual-handed sword in a wide arc, and the limitless Golden Flames came fully to life, twisting in the air into the shape of Gedelin’s Triple Pattern. Just as Moli thought of retreating, the flames rose behind her like a wall of fire, sealing off her escape. Moli no longer had a chance to speak; Elizabeth’s pure intention to put her to death overcame any explanation.

Moli could only purse her lips, clenching a fist as she looked toward Elizabeth, raising her fish tail without intending to dodge any longer. She stomped on the ground and charged at Elizabeth.

She didn’t know the situation, but it seemed her only option was to subdue Elizabeth first.

But Elizabeth, holding the sword with both hands, had her golden pupils shifting seven or eight times in a second, keenly capturing every possible area Moli might attack from or dodge to. The next moment, Elizabeth’s Golden Sword trembled slightly, and the flames took over in her retaliation.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

"Ugh!"

Waves of flames carrying intense heat struck Moli in midair with ferocious speed—her palms, thighs, tail—all suffering severe burns as the pained Moli retreated once more to the area cut off by the flames.

But Elizabeth had no intention of letting Moli go.

The terrifying wave of fire seemed boundless as it spread from Elizabeth’s feet, the fierce heat sweeping up a storm that whipped her golden hair into madness, framing her in an image that was both pure and crazed. She stared intently at Moli before her, watching helplessly as Moli struggled and retreated in the overwhelming heat.

Moli gritted her teeth, and the black currents in her eyes began to flow once more, forced into a corner by Elizabeth, she had no choice but to use her curse ability to absorb Life Energy.

But Elizabeth, witnessing this scene, had long anticipated it. With a cold laugh, she grasped the Handle of the Golden Sword with a reversed grip, like throwing a javelin, she aimed the Golden Sword straight at Moli. With a forceful step back, she hurled the sword with all her might.

The boundless flames followed the flying Golden Sword like a tornado of scorching Storm, leaving Moli no chance to utilize her curse before she had to dodge. She watched helplessly as the life-threatening heat of Destruction bore down on her.

"Clang!"

But at the crucial moment, a Fluid Sword Blade, like liquid mercury, shot from the wall of flames and struck the Golden Sword with a resounding crack, causing it to veer off course and head toward Nali Lake instead.
