Chapter 262 - 111. Moli’s Inner Heart

Chapter 262: 111. Moli’s Inner Heart

"Can you balance it?"

Listening to Mr. Fischer’s words, the face of the Whale-man Species girl in front of him turned somber.

In front of her, Mr. Fischer had filled a basin with water. At this moment, Moli looked at the flowing water in the basin. The water reflected in her eyes also flowed quietly. However, the black water streams were still vigorous and could not be diminished.

Mr. Fischer had just finished a phone call with Keken. Since Keken was willing to help, entering the Healing Room would be much simpler.

Even if Moli, as a Whale-man Species, still could not accept Ramasitia’s Blessing, it did not matter. Mr. Fischer could rent a carriage and place Moli inside the carriage’s compartment to bring her in.

With Keken’s connections, they could bypass strict scrutiny, especially since he was managing this charity gala.

It occurred to him that he already owed Keken a favor from before in the South Continent and now on returning to the Western Continent, he needed Keken’s help again without having repaid those two favors.

Mr. Fischer planned to design a magic spell for him once this matter was over and give him the patent rights to the magic as a way of repaying his debt.

But now, the problem Mr. Fischer faced was not how to enter the charity gala, but Moli’s continual inability to balance.

Once Moli entered a state of fear and tension, she would become extremely aggressive, and her tyrannical ocean overlord hunting pressure would attack indiscriminately, not distinguishing between friend and foe.

If Moli continued in this state, bringing her to the Healing Room wouldn’t just be unhelpful but could also hinder them.

However, leaving her here was not something Mr. Fischer was comfortable with, knowing that Blake aimed to capture Son of the Sea Moli. If he wasn’t around and his home was broken into, it wouldn’t end well, especially since Lady Martha was also in the rented house. He dared not take that risk.

So, upon returning to the room, Mr. Fischer intended to start training Moli on how to balance the Blessing and the curse inside her.

Watching the water flow was a method her Mother had taught her. Moli demonstrated it for Mr. Fischer; the general method involved manipulating the water flow externally in a gentle motion, then slowly synchronizing the inner flow of water with the real water movement until reaching the other side of balance.

Sounds a bit like an enigma, doesn’t it?

Mr. Fischer soon discovered that Moli’s mother’s teaching method leaned towards stream of consciousness, and whether or not she could learn it depended entirely on her own comprehension.

Moreover, since Moli’s internal situation differed significantly from other Whale-man Species members, this method was particularly ineffective for her. Moli, with a look of suffering and increasing irritability, stared at the flowing water, feeling it was her own foolishness that prevented her from learning to balance.

After waiting for a while, Moli looked at Mr. Fischer with a pitiful gaze and shook her head,

"No...it’s not working..."

The black water flow in her eyes grew more turbulent without dissipating, clearly overpowering the white water flow. There was no balance to speak of.

"I tried to suppress it, but it was of no use... The curse is too terrifying, the closer I get, the more frenzied it becomes. When I was in the ocean, every time the curse flared up, Fragrance Soul would suffer..."

Fragrance Soul was Moli’s Companion Sea Beast, helping her to suppress her own curse.

Mr. Fischer stroked his chin lightly, moved the basin of water away, glanced outside, and suddenly used his Handcane to light up a Reinforcement magic. Originally, the object of reinforcement was the Handcane, but he could also expand the reinforcement range, though the magic would disappear quickly and needed Mr. Fischer to inscribe it again.

He extended the reinforcement magic throughout the room, covering furniture and walls with a faint layer of light film, and simultaneously, the Emblem on his Handcane vanished instantly.

After completing all these, Mr. Fischer addressed Moli,

"Moli, enter Battle State."

"Eh? But..."

Hearing Mr. Fischer’s words, she pursed her lips, looked at Mr. Fischer,

"I’m scared... I’m afraid I might hurt Mr. Fischer..."

"It’s okay. I’ve already reinforced the surroundings, and others won’t hear us. As for my safety, you don’t need to worry, come on, try to touch your curse so I can help you."

Moli looked at Mr. Fischer standing before her, hesitant for a long while before nodding.

She silently vowed to control the curse’s power and not hurt Mr. Fischer, but when she just touched the black curse, her pupils instantly turned pitch black, her body’s softness abruptly withdrew, and her whole presence became dangerous.

She quietly looked at Mr. Fischer, making no aggressive move, just as Moli had mentioned earlier, she was conscious in such a state but found it extremely difficult to control, as if her emotions and senses were bifurcated and rushing in different directions.

But her body was anything but calm. In Mr. Fischer’s view, her body trembled slightly, the water in her pupils churned like a tsunami reversed in motion, flashing a dangerous brilliance like thunder about to pierce the clouds.

"Fi..."

Struggling, she uttered a word, and under Mr. Fischer’s watchful eye, she suddenly lunged at Mr. Fischer.

Mr. Fischer’s gaze sharpened, thinking she was attacking him, so he prepared to extend his hand to restrain her actions.
