Chapter 167: 70.Prince Schwali_3
Fisher nodded in understanding, but he did not look at Ken, as his gaze was fixed on the deep crimson carriages that were coming towards Saint Nali University. There were many other carriages following, filled with Saint Nali Police and officials from the New Party.
The leading deep crimson carriage was engraved with a complex pattern of a white serpent, which was different from all the carriages behind it. As the dust-covered carriages came to a halt, the door of the foremost carriage slowly swung open, and a very muscular man stepped out.
This man was quite young yet strikingly robust, dressed in the red, half-open long-sleeved garment often worn by Schwali people, revealing his well-built chest. His expression was calm, and there was a black tattoo on his forehead, a twisted sun.
Nobles of Schwali had the custom of engraving their family crest on their body, and although it could be placed anywhere—on the buttock, back, or thighs, no one minded—but it was Fisher’s first time seeing a Schwali person with such a marking on the face.
And that sun was no ordinary symbol, it represented the Schwali Royal Family, the emblem of the Sun Family [Laurent].
Therefore, the person who had just alighted should be Prince Luosang Laurent, who was here to visit Saint Nali.
As he stepped out, the doors of the other deep crimson carriages opened sequentially, with different scholars exiting. These scholars were both male and female, dressed in varied attire, and not only had they come by themselves, some had brought their families, and astonishingly, one daring person had even brought a male sheepman!
Fisher and the executives of Saint Nali University looked oddly toward the delicate-looking demi-human with sheep horns standing behind a Schwali Scholar, momentarily unclear about that individual’s thought process.
There were rumors that Schwali nobles were fond of playing with sheep, and this fellow sure took the opportunity to provide a live demonstration on site.
Fortunately, the rector of Saint Nali University was no fool. Before Prince Schwali noticed the awkward stares, he quickly stepped forward to offer welcoming blessings to the visiting guests,
"Respected Prince Luosang, welcome to Saint Nali University. I, on behalf of the board of directors and all the faculty and students of Saint Nali University, welcome your arrival."
Prince Luosang nodded his head and spoke in Nali Language,
"Long before leaving Schwali, I had heard of Nali, the academic palace sanctioned by the Royal Family, and I have come to Saint Nali to see the elegance of the Nali scholars firsthand. Mr. Rector, where is Mr. Fisher Benavides?"
Standing behind, Fisher slightly raised his eyebrows; all eyes from the rector and those nearby fell upon him, so the prince quickly spotted the person he was looking for.
He walked straight forward, looking at Fisher, and then addressed Fisher,
"I present respects to you and your theories on behalf of the Queen of Schwali. The academic community of Schwali has reviewed your papers, but also raised some questions. We hope that in the upcoming academic meetings, we can exchange views honestly and contribute together towards humanity’s exploration of the unknown."
Suddenly, many students who loved a spectacle had gathered along the roadsides of the campus, keenly watching as the prince extended his hand towards Professor Fisher.
Fisher was slightly taken aback but shook hands symbolically to show goodwill.
"I hope we all can gain some insights."
