Demi-human Girls Completion Manual
Chapter 148 - 61. The Beginning of the Dragon Queen

Chapter 148: 61. The Beginning of the Dragon Queen

After dealing with the traces left by Elliog, Fisher walked alone to the laboratory, his mind continually flashing back to the details of the "Human Worm" he had just encountered. According to Elliog, a human had transformed many lives into the monster he had just seen, although the purpose was unclear.

How did that human accomplish it, and where did such bizarre technology come from?

Fisher suddenly thought of that fellow Philone and felt there were many similarities between them. Could it be that the person Elliog was chasing also possessed a Completion Manual?

Fisher couldn’t be sure, for even he didn’t know how many Completion Manuals there were in total. But as it seemed, his own Demi-human Girls Completion Manual was a bit more special... or perhaps, more bizarre?

Fisher didn’t continue to criticize the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual in his arms, merely hoping that Elliog would catch up to that scumbag and kill him. He refrained from criticizing the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual because he was about to open it and see what rewards there were for reaching 50% progress on demon species research. What if it heard him and decided not to give him anything?

Fisher walked back to the laboratory and carefully checked whether anything unclean like the Human Worm or any strange traces had entered his room. However, it seemed that aside from Elliog’s signature smell of saltpeter, nothing else was there.

At that moment, Fisher confidently opened the Completion Manual he held, and instantly, a series of ethereal texts floated up, appearing before his eyes.

[Demon Species Biological Research Progress: 53%]

[Demon Species Social Research Progress: 3%]

This rapidly escalating progress made Fisher suddenly remember that aside from Renie, every increase in research progress for the demi-human girls was through close physical contact, could it be that was the only way to rapidly enhance the biological research progress?

Or was it a prank by the creator of the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual?

Fisher, with a resigned expression, stopped caring about such details and instead looked at the reward for reaching 50% biological research progress.

[Unlocked rewards: Constitution +3, Demon Language +3, ’Demon Dynasty’s Secret Treasure’ treasure map]

[Demon Dynasty’s Secret Treasure: The grand dynasty will once again cover the world’s skies, bringing everything under the control of the Seventy-two Demons!]

Right after the ethereal text and explanations appeared, a twisted, aesthetically chaotic scroll materialized in Fisher’s hand, still seemingly warm like molten lava. On the top, two lifelike red butterflies were depicted fluttering, and below them was a line of extremely bizarre text, like swirling vortices.

Having just gained knowledge of the Demon Language, Fisher immediately felt a surge of knowledge rush into his brain, making the vortex-like inscriptions slowly familiar. The scroll read,

[Submit to the Desire Abyss]

After a brief pause, Fisher unfolded the map. The map was very large, but it clearly wasn’t of the Western Continent since there was no large mountain range in the middle, unlike the one depicted.

This was a map of the South Continent, roughly located at its easternmost end, but an additional downward-pointing demonic finger was drawn on the marked location, along with an explanation in the Demon Language,

[Beneath the Desire Abyss, the secret treasure will appear to you]

Could it be that the Demon Dynasty was in the South Continent? Or just the Demon Dynasty’s secret treasure?

Lacking further clues for the time being, Fisher decided to store the map away but looking at it reminded him of the red-haired Dragon-man Species girl he had encountered before in the South Continent. He wondered how she was faring now, as he had given her a map similar to this one when they parted.

She still owed him a punishment.

Looking through the window of his laboratory, Fisher watched the stars gradually spread across the sky as the sun set, thinking to himself.

...

...

The sky gradually darkened, but both the Western Continent and the South Continent shared the same starry sky.

In the desolate wilderness, Earth Spirits with eyes wide open watched vigilantly from the ground, their gazes quietly resting on a cloaked girl standing before a hill.

The girl had fiery red hair and horns as bright as the sun on her forehead. Her side profile was stunningly beautiful, her green eyes calmly observing the night sky, wondering silently, speaking no words, until after a long time, she finally diverted her gaze.

"Clan Leader! There are no more human pursuers behind us, they’ve given up!"

Several Dragon-men emerged from the forest holding torches, bowing respectfully to the extremely young-looking girl.

And this girl was Rafael, who had been away from Fisher for a long time. Unseen for ages, she was still as dazzling as ever, yet now, her face bore solemnity and calmness, her deep blue eyes seemingly ablaze with unending flames.

She turned to look at the lights flickering in the forest, her gaze calm, neither sad nor happy.

A month ago, she had traveled across the continent to return to her tribe, only to discover upon her return that her tribe had been destroyed. Her father had been killed by humans, and not many of her Dragon-man race remained; her older brother was even planning to recklessly seek revenge on humans. Fortunately, Rafael had returned...
