Chapter 346: Chapter 162: The Hunt Begins_1

The chubby guy, nicknamed Red Shrimp, followed the girl with the bun hairstyle to the fourth exhibition hall.

There were lots of people here because what was on display were mummies.

For most, the image of ancient Egypt is synonymous with mummies and pyramids, naturally drawing a crowd. However, after seeing the exhibit, many were disappointed.

It was just desiccated corpses, grotesque and hideous, even those mummies wrapped in bandages had become dirty due to weathering over the years.

Red Shrimp had no interest in these relics; however, he noticed that the bun-haired girl seemed quite fond of them, even pulling out a sketchbook from her backpack and beginning to copy the mummy said to be an Egyptian pharaoh.

"Hehe, a girl who likes corpses? What a coincidence, I like them too!"

Red Shrimp licked his lips, preparing to go over and strike up a conversation, but a young man wearing a yellow trench coat with slightly curled long hair beat him to it.

"Although it’s just a few strokes, you’ve already captured its essence!"

The Trench Coat Guy complimented.

Shen Xin glanced at the man, then lowered her head to continue drawing. She was a girl of few words herself, believing it better to spend time contemplating rather than on idle chatter.

Only when she was deep in thought did Shen Xin feel truly alive.

Trench Coat Guy, not receiving a response from Shen Xin, wasn’t embarrassed; rather, her focus only increased his interest. Just when he wanted to talk more, suddenly someone violently bumped into his back.

Bang!

Trench Coat Guy stumbled forward, hitting the barrier.

"Miss, are you an art student? Your drawing is very beautiful!"

Red Shrimp stood next to Shen Xin and smiled broadly, initiating a conversation: "Could you draw me a sketch? I’ll pay a million!"

Ever since becoming a God Hunter and making lots of money, Red Shrimp’s approach to pursuing women had become synonymous with splashing the cash.

Really throwing a million!

Simple and crude.

Of course, if the other party failed to appreciate his gesture, he was more than happy to employ some violence.

Shen Xin didn’t even glance at the fat man, her demeanor frosty.

"I’m not kidding you, come on, add my WeChat, and I’ll transfer the million to you!"

Red Shrimp had the air of someone with more money than sense.

"You are desecrating art!"

Trench Coat Guy turned around, reproaching him. He wasn’t angry about being bumped by Red Shrimp; it was his attitude towards art he abhorred.

"Hehe!"

Red Shrimp laughed, sizing up Trench Coat Guy.

These types of outfits signal either a musician or an artist, projecting an air of decayed beauty and a sense of superiority as if to say, "The world is drunk, and I am the only one awake."

When their talent and work are unrecognized, they comfort themselves with the belief that it’s not their inadequacy but the stupidity of the common folk who can’t understand or appreciate them.

What nonsense.

Red Shrimp cleared his throat and then toward Trench Coat Guy...

Tsk!

A wad of thick phlegm landed on Trench Coat Guy’s chest.

"Get lost!" Red Shrimp glared aggressively: "I’m wooing a lady. What’s your incessant babbling for? Keep spouting nonsense, and I’ll twist your head off!"

Trench Coat Guy looked down at the thick spittle on his coat.

He pulled out a tissue, wiped off the sputum from his coat, then took off his garment and hung it on his left arm.

"This coat was a gift from a friend of mine!"

Trench Coat Guy’s expression remained calm, but his eyes were now icy cold as he looked at Red Shrimp.

People nearby saw the conflict arising and, not wanting to be involved, cleared away.

"Oh? Is he an artist as well?"

Red Shrimp’s mouth curled in disdain: "That taste isn’t so great, huh? You look like a complete fool in it."

"To hear the word ’art’ coming from your mouth is simply an insult!"

The Man in Yellow shook his head: "You, deserve to die!"

"Haha!"

Red Shrimp burst into laughter, his demeanor wild and arrogant. Ever since he became a God Hunter, many laws had ceased to bind him.

If he wanted to kill someone, it was very simple, but someone else killing him?

Sorry!

I am strong!

Red Shrimp crossed his arms and tilted his chin up at Trench Coat Guy, with an obvious meaning,

Come at me!

Trench Coat Guy looked at Shen Xin. He didn’t care about others, but he feared frightening this girl; however, he soon laughed at himself in self-derision.

A girl who can be scared by the likes of me—what difference does she hold from the vulgar crowd? Not much worth appreciating after all.

So, Trench Coat Guy raised his right hand and looked at Red Shrimp, then, with his palm facing down, he pushed down forcefully.

"Die!"

An invisible force, as if a great mountain was descending, suddenly came crashing down on Red Shrimp.

Boom!

Red Shrimp’s sense of danger surged, but before he could react, a powerful force shook him, slamming him down with great might.

The sensation was like being smashed into the ground by a dump truck falling from the sky.

Agonizing pain struck instantaneously and then vanished.

Red Shrimp’s vision spun, and a second later, he realized he couldn’t look around anymore, only up.

"What happened?"

Red Shrimp panicked because he found he had no control over his limbs, just like a vegetative person who has consciousness yet can’t move a muscle.

Is the other guy a God Hunter?

Have I been tainted by a rule?

Red Shrimp freaked out, wanting to scream for the leader to help, but though his mouth could move, he couldn’t make a sound.

The onlookers nearby were stunned.

"Is this some kind of magic trick?"

"It must be a magic trick, how else could someone be slapped to the ground?"

"But I didn’t hear about any magic show here?"
