Chapter 273: Chapter 137: Bloody Slaughterhouse_3
The man in sunglasses made peace and led everyone upstairs.
...
"If only they would go upstairs first, they could clear the way for us!"
The woman in leather pants snickered.
"They haven’t even realized that there’s a map inside the pig-headed man’s belly!"
The bartender lamented that if they were also collecting map fragments, there would definitely be a conflict. It was all thanks to Lin Baici.
Looking at the way the man in sunglasses and his group wandered around, they looked like fools.
He was so glad to have joined this team.
The bartender felt fortunate.
After another ten minutes or so, the roaring of machinery, the bellowing of the pig-headed men, and the screams and cries of humans converged into a cacophony that wafted over.
The slaughterhouse had arrived.
Everyone bent down and tiptoed, stealthily making their way forward.
Soon, they entered a massive workshop.
There was a lot of equipment here, forming a slaughter assembly line.
Those machines were coated with grease, bloodstains, dust, and remnants of minced meat, looking like they had been used for many years. The ground was covered with dark red stagnant water.
Many pig-headed men were busy.
Their black rubber boots splashed through the puddles, making a pattering sound.
The workshop was vast, and the group, using the equipment for cover, advanced toward the direction of the crying.
Suddenly, Xia Hongyao pointed ahead.
"Look!"
At the ten o’clock position, there was an open space with many iron cages. Each cage contained about twenty naked people.
Due to the cramped space within, these individuals were squeezed together.
Beside the cages, there was a giant iron barrel, more than ten meters tall and seven or eight meters in diameter, probably filled with boiling water as hot steam gushed from it.
A thick mechanical arm moved over, grasped a cage, lifted it, and shifted it above the large iron barrel.
The steam from the barrel reddened the skin of those inside, causing them to cry out in pain.
A pig-headed man stood on a platform above the barrel and used an iron prong to remove the lock from the cage.
The mechanical arm twisted, tipping all the people from the cage into the water below.
Splash! Splash!
Those individuals fell into the boiling water, immediately screaming, but after a few seconds fell silent, a few quick-witted ones holding onto the cage, not falling down.
The pig-headed man on the platform took a rod and poked at them forcefully until they all fell in, then pressed a switch.
The boiling water inside the cage began to swirl and churn, thoroughly cleaning the bodies. Three minutes later, the pig-headed man pressed another button, and a large scoop extended into the barrel, scooped out the bodies, and dumped them onto a conveyor belt beside it.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
The bodies, recently scalded to death and still steaming, moved along the conveyor belt, entering into a brush cluster similar to that in a car wash.
This step was for hair removal and cleansing of the bodies to make them cleaner.
"Fuck!"
The dwarf cursed.
Everyone felt uncomfortable.
This was a slaughterhouse, except, instead of pigs, it was humans being slaughtered.
"What do we do now?"
Xia Hongyao looked at the humans: "Do we save them?"
"Why save them? This is a game, don’t take it seriously!"
The old man was scared Lin Baici would play the good guy: "You see the man in sunglasses and his guys, they’re not dealing with these people!"
"Apart from whether or not to save people, shouldn’t we kill these pig-headed men and look for the map? I feel like there are quite a few of them."
The bartender observed that on both sides of this processing line, at each stage, there were quite a few pig-headed men, probably totaling more than a hundred.
"With this number, there’s no way to kill them all at once. If a commotion starts, it will attract even more Pig-Headed Men!"
The woman in leather pants worried.
"Let’s go, let’s open those cages and let them run!"
Lin Baici took the lead, sneaking towards the cages.
"Boss, now’s not the time to worry about them..."
The Bartender tried to reason, but before he could finish, the old man had already made his move.
He had figured it out.
Lin Baici was going to use these people to create chaos, then take the opportunity to kill the Pig-Headed Men. This way, the Pig-Headed Men would think they were being rebelled against by these ’amateurs,’ and wouldn’t notice their own side.
While the Pig-Headed Man on the shelf was distracted, the group rushed to the cages.
Swish!
The Dragon Tooth sliced through metal as if it were mud, directly cutting through the locks.
Xia Hongyao’s Dagger was also very sharp, and she was fast. In less than ten seconds, she had cut through twelve locks.
The amateurs inside immediately rushed out.
Crack!
Lin Baici grabbed a man’s arm: "Can you understand what I’m saying?"
The man was anxious and lacked any sense of gratitude, only wanting to run. He even reached out to scratch Lin Baici’s face.
These people, having been born and raised in pens, couldn’t speak at all.
Lin Baici let go of the man and stepped back.
The man immediately fled.
Seeing the amateurs escape, a Pig-Headed Man shouted out loud. Soon, the Pig-Headed Men started to move, carrying bone cleavers and nets, beginning to hunt and kill the escaping amateurs.
"Every man for himself. Look for the isolated ones, kill the monsters first, and then look for the map!"
After Lin Baici gave the order, he blended into the crowd fleeing for their lives.
A Pig-Headed Man charged over. As it ran, its fat flesh quivered chaotically.
Roar!
The Pig-Headed Man shouted in their species’ language and hurled the bone cleaver in its hand at an amateur.
Thwack!
Lin Baici leaped into the air, reached out with a big hand, and caught the bone cleaver, then hurled it back.
Whoosh!
The bone cleaver chopped into the Pig-Headed Man’s face.
It didn’t die, but the Clay Human came in time to deliver the finishing blow.
Bang!
A Flying Stone shattered its head.
Thud!
The Pig-Headed Man collapsed, warm fresh blood flowed out, mixing with the puddles on the ground.
Over three hundred amateurs had no idea how to get out, so they just ran around the slaughterhouse like mice in a kitchen, thrown into complete chaos.
The Pig-Headed Men weren’t very intelligent to begin with, and now were split up chasing the amateurs, which made them easy targets for Lin Baici and his group.
"This is too easy!"
The Bartender enjoyed the feeling of slaughtering the monsters.
The Pig-Headed Men overpowered the amateurs but were instantly killed when faced with the God Hunters, consequently causing their numbers in the slaughterhouse to rapidly decrease.
Just as the Bartender knocked down another Pig-Headed Man, a large cleaver swung down, grazing the Bartender’s body and crashing into the Pig-Headed Man on the ground.
Boom!
The Pig-Headed Man burst open like a hot water bag that had been trampled on.
The Bartender wiped the blood and flesh that had splattered onto his face and looked back in shock, then started shouting.
"Boss, BOSS!"
