Ye Xingbei was startled, “It hurt that much?”

“Mhm mhm!” Yian Jingxue nodded vigorously, about to add more, when Han Zuo came out of the pantry carrying a glass of water in one hand and a towel wrapped with ice cubes in the other.

“Xiao Xue, drink some water to soothe your throat, and then apply some ice,” Han Zuo handed her the glass and sat down beside her, carefully placing the ice-wrapped towel on Yian Jingxue’s forehead, “I’ve already contacted my friend. The doctor will be here to examine you shortly.”

“Examine?” Yian Jingxue shook her head, “No need, no need. I feel fine, there’s nothing wrong with me.”

Examine that area, how embarrassing!

“We should still have it checked,” Han Zuo took her hand, “Consider it for my peace of mind.”
