"Wedding? To an omega?"

Xie Jianshen opened his mouth to argue, but Xie Jianyu squeezed his hand to silence him.

"I don’t mind," he said. "I will do it."

The Emperor smiled.

"Very good. Jianyu is growing up."

Xie Jianshen grew tense.

"It is not about growing up or not! Little Yu’s body is not yet capable of impregnating an omega."

The Emperor scoffed.

"No one expects Jianyu to sire a child as soon as he gets married. We dragons are known to be reproductively challenged anyway. I trust that the treatment is an ongoing process, Jianshen?"

What great timing. Just when the Reversal Seeds were out of reach.

"I am working on it," he said, his temples throbbing as he spoke.
