Chapter 427: Chapter 103: Xu Shu’s Three Expeditions (Request for Monthly Tickets)

Today was the first day of December, and Xu Shu was relatively stable.

Not only had he received a substantial reward of Erosion Crystals, but his three consecutive expeditions also yielded reasonably good rewards.

During the first round, things initially went smoothly, relatively smoothly. He set up a base at a bunker to the west of coordinates (18,19), then headed north into the wilderness. Before long, he encountered four Alien Species engaged in battle, one side insect-like resembling mantises; the other side was a more disgusting humanoid shape resembling Rat-men.

As they were engrossed in battle, Xu Shu decisively struck, taking on four at once without fear; he ambushed them and earned four Erosion Crystals.

Unfortunately, because things started out too smoothly, Xu Shu chose to bravely continue forward. After a return trip to confirm the path was safe, he set out again to explore, attempting to reach a small hill ten kilometers away.

He, however, accidentally fell into a weird marsh composed of sticky mucus.

This marsh belonged to a strange creature resembling a slimy mud, not highly aggressive but extremely offensive; these creatures hid in the corner, never attacking directly, but relying on their trap of mire to fatally corrode him.

In the end, Xu Shu received an item called [Intermediate Collapse Pawn (Fine)], which was particularly malicious both in its name and appearance.

However, this item turned out to be quite useful. It appeared as a large bottle of carbonated drink but was actually a landmine.

Upon opening the bottle, the unique round bubbles emitted would seep into the ground, setting a "minefield" within a two-hundred-meter radius surrounding it and lasting for a period of time;

Any enemy who entered during this time would trigger an explosion as soon as they got halfway to where Xu Shu was—thus, the so-called "Intermediate Collapse Pawn," literally.

After confirming the first route, Xu Shu decisively attacked, following the route he had already explored to defeat the Rat-men and insect creatures, successfully hunting four Erosion Crystals.

And on the way, he swallowed two crystals right then and there, instantly refining them into experience, increasing his level progression slightly.

This was why, when he returned, Gu Yue Ming saw him covered in blood, although he wasn’t injured at all.

Gu Yue Ming thought it was monster blood, but in reality, it was all Xu Shu’s own blood, the result of consuming the crystals to raise the limit of Curse Seal erosion in his body.

This time, the process was relatively straightforward, and Xu Shu didn’t even need to change his title; he simply went ahead with the Sit-ups.

Here’s the first part.

After hunting the four creatures of the first expedition, Xu Shu naturally set his sights on those slimy muck creatures—described in the Tai Chu Scroll as "Nagoul Demon Subspecies: Mud Walkers."

But to Xu Shu, whether they were called slimy muck or Mud Walkers, it was all the same, merely a matter of what name was used.

This time, he would not let them escape.

As the saying goes, a gentleman’s revenge is not too late even after ten years, but Xu Shu was different; if he could beat them, he would take revenge on the spot; if not, then he would consider the ten-year standard.

He immediately launched the second round of his expedition!

In this expedition, Xu Shu, without a second thought, rushed to the place where he had once drowned and shattered a creature with the powerful strike of Kua Fu Mountain Capturing, right on the spot.

There were five Mud Walkers in total, arranged in a triangular position which seemed somewhat challenging; yet, in reality, they didn’t coordinate with each other at all, merely watching their companions get killed by Xu Shu and only howling in anger, seemingly so reluctant to move as if the sky were falling.

Seeing this, where would Xu Shu be polite to them? With the help of Narrow Sleeve Guanyin’s special abilities, he took out these inactive, first-rank little demons one by one.

Ordinary Transcendents couldn’t handle various monsters like him, but Xu Shu possessed an absolute advantage in the strange domain with Narrow Sleeve Guanyin, a figurine capable of unleashing psychic attacks. At the same rank, there were indeed not many who could withstand his assault.

He himself was an 18th-level Legendary Alien Warrior, and the Narrow Sleeve Guanyin, this half-dead record player, also started at least at an 18th-level flawless rank.

This powerful alliance had no match within their rank.

It’s worth mentioning that the Erosion Crystals from these Mud Walkers were rooted to the ground like plants; Xu Shu had to exert a great deal of effort to pull them out.

Once he finished, he understood why.

He had just swallowed two crystals on the spot, ready to move forward to the distant Big Green Mountain.

But unexpectedly, before he could go to the mountain, the mountain came to him.

The ground suddenly shook, and amidst the earth-shaking, the green mountain rose from the ground—turning out to be a gigantic fourth-order giant crab monster. It was a fourth-rank Alien Species Duke named "Racan"; the mountain was an ancient moss on its back.

And the five Mud Walkers that Xu Shu had killed had significant origins; they turned out to be the five array eyes nailed into the ground, together forming an exceedingly covert pattern of five columns.

By killing them and taking their Erosion Crystals, Xu Shu directly broke this hidden array.

Beneath the array lay the small nest of the fourth-order giant crab Racan, filled with its eggs, each wrapped in dense crab roe, an immensely delicious treat—the massive erosion curse allowing anyone who tasted it to ascend to heaven immediately, making it a zero-complaints superb delicacy.
