Chapter 303: Chapter 63: Xu Shu’s Major Crisis (Happy May Day; Request for Monthly Votes)_3

Hmm? Xu Shu raised an eyebrow upon hearing this, only to see the yellow paper note read "Death in three days" while the green one stated "Death in seven days."

He laughed. Either way, it’s death, right?

With a grand gesture, he grabbed hold of the arm and applied a slight force.

"Hey?" The female ghost was clearly encountering this for the first time and intended to resist, only to find the strength surprisingly strong. Consequently, she was yanked out entirely and tossed onto the bed, where she immediately scrambled to a corner.

"Sir~ Please pick one quickly~" She sobbed.

Xu Shu couldn’t see her face; the back of her head was to him, leaving him with a view of her disheveled head.

"Turn around!" Xu Shu said as he reached out to grab her.

"Heeheehee~" A silvery laugh rang out as the female ghost moved extremely fast, and Xu Shu actually failed to catch her.

"Pretty quick... a Yin Spirit, huh?"

Xu Shu’s gaze shifted, and he promptly scooped up the Narrow Sleeve Guanyin and aimed directly at her.

Other "Warriors" might struggle with such a ghostly thing, but Xu Shu was not afraid.

Within the Guanyin Image, there was indeed a Second Rank "Yin General" sealed and merged within.

Swoosh!

As the black, gloomy eyes of Goddess Hei Shan reflected from the Guanyin, the female ghost let out a sharp "Ah!" scream and curled up motionlessly.

"Ah no, don’t... spare me..." She began trembling, her voice terribly pitiful, filled with a strange resentment that made listeners inadvertently imagine she must have had a very tragic life.

"You dare to use a psychic attack to pollute me after I told you not to move? You’ve got some nerve."

Xu Shu was unapologetic, firmly grabbed her long hair, and forceful flipped her over.

Whooosh, it was another thick-haired back of a head!

"What?"

No face?

Xu Shu didn’t believe in curses and pinned her down, then walked to the side.

Still, the back of a head.

No matter which angle you looked from, it remained the same.

"Whoa~" Xu Shu was somewhat surprised now.

You have to admit, she’s got quite the trick up her sleeve—with every side being a back of a head, ordinary people would have had their souls frightened out of them.

Yet, a strange thought inevitably surfaced in his mind.

If this female ghost had a back of the head on the front, and likewise on the back, right.

Then would her shapely front, with breasts and waist... from the back, could it possibly also be breasts?

Considering this, Xu Shu couldn’t help but test his theory, only to find out it wasn’t so.

The other side was even larger!

And, amusingly enough, every time Xu Shu flipped her over, he discovered that the chest on the other side was bigger than this side’s.

Xu Shu suddenly felt intrigued and flipped her over, and then again...

This female ghost, subdued by the Second Rank Yin God Hei Shan, dared not resist and allowed Xu Shu to manipulate her, flipping her back and forth.

It was like watching a chicken egg, a small orange, a small apple, a small grapefruit, getting larger and larger.

Eventually, the entire bed was covered with her creamy white bosom, yet her body hadn’t grown larger, so it looked like two coconuts hanging on a bonsai pine, not even 30 centimeters tall.

Xu Shu couldn’t help but marvel, "Hahaha, such great evil, what on earth are you? Are you something that became this after human death? Tell me your name before you died, let me see if we have a grudge. Be honest, or I won’t be polite."

The female ghost quickly deflated like a leaking balloon, returning to her original state, now looking like a seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl, wearing a red blouse and a short black skirt, and she sobbed:

"I’m a pitiful resentful spirit, a being naturally nurtured, though I subsist on the yang energy of men in my human guise, I never dare to harm lives. It was not my intention to offend you, sir. Please, have mercy on me, wuwuwu~"

"Really?" Xu Shu snorted coldly, a cunning flash in his eyes.

He intentionally mentioned the "grudge" to probe whether she was a creature formed after a person’s death; now it seemed, like other ghostly beings, Yin Spirits were not transformations of the dead.

But if that’s the case, what’s the deal with Hei Shan Goddess? Didn’t Xie Xiaochan say she’s a war hero’s spirit from countless millennia ago?

It truly boggles the mind. The Evil Spirit sure is tricky, harboring lots of hidden secrets.

In fact, the experience tonight was originally quite terrifying.

Even though he forcefully turned it bizarre and eventually started to get a kick out of it.

But that was entirely because he was powerful himself, plus he had the Narrow Sleeve Guanyin to use, which just so happened to suppress the "Ghost Soldiers"—a term used for First Rank Yin Gods.

But that’s just him.

If it were anyone else, without any good strategies to deal with it, they’d definitely have been done in by her tonight.

What about not daring to harm human lives?

Do you think I’m a fool to be cheated?

Xu Shu didn’t believe any of that. He only knew that in this apocalypse, "if they’re not of my kind, their hearts must be different!"

However, since it’s not a human...

Xu Shu looked the other up and down, licking his lips.

Heh heh, I see this female ghost still has a certain charm.

"Stay down and don’t move," Xu Shu said as he patted her slender waist, flipping her over a few times until she was just the right size for him to handle.

"Eh? What are you going to do aaaah~"

"Didn’t you say you wanted to absorb some yang energy? The master is kind-hearted, doing a good deed."

"Ah, please, don’t do this~ I, I’m not human!" She revealed an extremely ferocious face.

Xu Shu first froze, then delightfully said, "Sss, that’s just perfect... Oops~~"

"???" The female ghost was completely puzzled as she realized the problem had just gotten larger.

Had humans become so perverted?

Threatened by the Narrow Sleeve Guanyin, she dared not run. She braced her heart, her eyes flashing with malice, and decided to risk it, hoping to drain this human to a husk.

Exceptionally tense, yet measured in relaxation.

An hour later.

"My lord... please spare me~" The female ghost sobbed, realizing her little scheme had backfired. She couldn’t draw any yang energy from this man, and at this rate, the yin energy maintaining her form was at risk of dissipating.

Xu Shu didn’t rush to kill the female ghost with Narrow Sleeve Guanyin, instead he continued to hold her askew.

"Enough talk, keep going."

An hour and a half later, dawn finally arrived.

[The sun rises, all things revive, welcome back to the Tai Chu Scroll, great master!]

Accompanied by the ancient scroll unfolding before his eyes.

Xu Shu’s eyes lit up.

In Journey Mode, he could use the narration at the end of the Tai Chu Scroll to see the true nature of things.

After hearing what the female ghost said, he couldn’t possibly just take her word for it; he had to see the truth in Journey Mode.

The next moment, he launched Journey Mode. Mists swirled and light and shadows began to churn.
