Chapter 171: Collisions of Love 2

After leaving the airport, the taxis outside had all been snatched up, thankfully Feng Xing drove over in his little Alto. He told Zhuo Feng and the others to wait outside while he carried the mountaineering backpack filled with the warm enthusiasm of the Ge Village villagers and went to get the car.

There were no taxis left, and not many people outside the airport either. But Feng Xing still hadn’t appeared; he had only obtained his driver’s license half a year ago, and the "I’m a Novice" sticker on the back of his car hadn’t been peeled off yet. Zhuo Feng felt uneasy and took Xiao Xian to the parking lot to look for him.

After searching around, they finally found Feng Xing at the very back of the airport. As expected, there was trouble. Feng Shouxing was being confronted by a middle-aged woman spouting nonsense, with a young girl about Xiao Xian’s height standing beside them, wearing thick-framed glasses.

"Can’t you drive? You’ve wrecked the front of the car," said the middle-aged woman, holding an LV bag, dressed fashionably, and rather beautiful, except that her mouth reeked of alcohol and her speech was slurred and nonsensical, making her a real piece of work.

The woman stood with her hands on her hips, her lips moving non-stop, spewing out acid-laced words one after the other.

The higher the woman’s voice rose, the more the girl beside her lowered her head, making a move to pull her mother, tears streaming around her eyes, and sweat forming at the tip of her nose from anxiety.

Zhuo Feng went around to check the back of the car. Feng Xing’s Alto had its rear dented in, and the left-side taillight was knocked askew.

Next to the car stood a red BMW with the fierce license plate number 3333. Any seasoned Beijing driver knows to steer clear of cars with such sequential numbers – better to take a detour than to risk an encounter. The owners of these vehicles are either wealthy or noble, something the average person couldn’t afford to mess with. Not only would you owe money for damaging the car, but if someone inside got injured, it would become even more troublesome.

"Mom," the girl seemed eager to say something.

"Don’t interrupt. Stay out of adults’ affairs," the middle-aged woman, seeing Feng Xing was silent, stared at the Alto, trying to stand firm, "My bumper got scratched, it’ll cost two hundred for a paint job, give the money and get lost."

Zhuo Feng was extremely protective. She usually despised their little Alto, but seeing her husband being scolded by such a drunken woman, her eyes blazed with anger, ready to puncture through the well-maintained face of the affluent lady.

"How dare you speak like that, you old hag? Just because you’re twenty, thirty, or even forty years older doesn’t mean you can bully us. You’re wearing high heels, who knows if it’s you who mistook the brake for the accelerator. Let the traffic police sort this out, for all you know it might be your car that caused this. Scratched the bumper? Just wipe it with saliva and it’ll be fine. Look at our car, its rear end is all caved in, have you ever seen a car without a rear end? Our car is not like the chests and butts of rich people like you, that can be made perky for a few thousand dollars." Zhuo Feng’s barrage of words flowed like a torrential river, scolding without vulgarity but leaving the middle-aged woman speechless and flustered.

The middle-aged woman got so angry she was almost gasping for breath, her finger-gun pointing at Zhuo Feng, her eyes bulging, "Calling the police, huh? Don’t regret it later, who said I’m wearing high heels? You think you’ve seen everything." Perhaps pressed into a corner by Zhuo Feng, the woman stripped off her high-heeled shoes and threw them into the BMW through the window, as if being barefoot were preferable to wearing shoes in this situation.

Zhuo Feng had seen hooligans before, but none like this, and she got fired up, "Husband, take the money back."

Feng Xing’s two hundred yuan was already hesitant and sat at the edge of his pocket, but after his wife’s outburst, it obediently returned.

"Don’t tell me this place scares you. Xuerou, call Uncle Yuan, I don’t believe this is happening," the middle-aged woman stood barefoot on the concrete floor of the parking lot, full of confidence.

"Mom, stop making a fuss, let’s just forget about it," said the bespectacled girl nervously, and she glanced hurriedly at Zhuo Feng and her husband, her white sneakers shuffling backward. Xiao Xian caught this small motion.

Adults’ problems are none of the children’s business, but a child’s problem is surely something a child could deal with. Xiao Xian stared at the girl with glasses incessantly, her eyes darting back and forth between the BMW and the little Alto. She noticed that whenever she looked over, the bespectacled girl would bite her lip.

"We’d better call the traffic police over, even barefoot driving is not permissible. There must be surveillance in the airport parking lot. Let’s go to the surveillance room and check the footage." Zhuo Feng listened to Feng Xing briefly explaining what happened – he had just gotten into the car, hadn’t glanced in the mirror a few times, when there was a loud noise at the back of the car. By the time he braked urgently and stopped, the cars had already collided, and he didn’t understand what happened at the rear.

After hearing this, the middle-aged woman wobbled her head, trying to think more clearly.

"Let’s just call the police, girl. I’ve heard that the police take all liars away," Xiao Xian glanced at the glasses girl’s expression. The girl tugged at her mother and murmured in an almost inaudible voice, "Mom, stop arguing, if the police find out I’m driving without a license and it gets to the school, it’ll be troublesome."

The mother might have been drunk, but she seemed very concerned about her daughter. After being pulled a few times, she slightly calmed down.

"Oh, I heard all of that, the car was driven by her, and she’s still a student," Xiao Xian cut in, revealing the truth.

The girl student suddenly lifted her head, the eyes hidden behind her glasses appeared incredibly sharp.
