"What do you mean ’our’ Lake Shore Sanctuary, you robots... are you willing to give us food now?" Borley approached from a distance, feeling hungry and thirsty, as other travelers also panicked and disembarked from the train.

"After recalculating the model, it’s clear that an alliance between the three parties would minimize the damage to the industrial park. Humans to provide arms and ammunition, Ratman to gather intelligence and create psychological fear, and the factory to offer shelter, combat, and supply functions. Had we coordinated our actions from the beginning, these enemies would have been insignificant," the factory manager explained.

Tsuchigumo looked towards the factory, about a quarter of the area had been damaged in the relentless bombardment.

Sally’s Power could heal the wounds of humans and Ratman, but she was powerless against the damaged machines. Thus, the factory side suffered the greatest loss.

She was nearly starving, with a significant amount of physical and energy depletion requiring substantial food intake.

"Carbon-based beings, you have earned your food, this is the labor you provide to the New World," the factory manager saluted humans, Ratman, and Tsuchigumo.

The robots swiftly moved cans, vegetables, military rations, and purified water from the warehouse, sharing them out.

"One can, one bottle of water per person! Conserve! We don’t know how long we’ll have to stay here!" Borley yelled to maintain order among his gunmen, making sure to set aside some supplies for his inner circle to boost morale.

Tsuchigumo opened a can of meatballs, anything she ate now felt satisfyingly fatty and delicious. She planned to forage for spiders and centipedes in the bushes, as they were high in protein.

She also wanted to spin webs in the trees to trap flocks of birds, after all, being a spider, anything was possible.

Ah... right... Super Giant Rat Sally, just like Ratzilla. Tsuchigumo pondered. Even if someone took a photo, they wouldn’t believe it.

Tsuchigumo saw Sally’s silent demeanor, feeling she should talk to her about what had happened earlier, otherwise, Sally might truly break down.

Just then, the robot responsible for repairing communications rushed to Tsuchigumo’s side.

"Hello, Witch who can ’go online’ anytime, anywhere," it said, "I’ve repaired the fiber optic cables to the Hundred-eyed Giant Industrial Park, please check your communication devices."

"...Yes! Thank you very much!" Tsuchigumo nodded.

She took out her phone from her pocket, wiped off the blood, and saw numerous messages from Cyber Specter and Renwang Security Company.

She sighed, unsure how to share her experiences with her teammates or discuss further plans with Cyber Specter.

It seems the Black Panther Society has become particularly fierce and brutal, Ottovan is morphing, and Zanges is far more sinister than before. If they cannot leave Zanges, the only option would be to head north through The Scar of the World, round the Inland Sea from Alexandria Port back to the Northern Archipelago.
