Chapter 767: Chapter 639 Farosa’s Memory

The joy of love stems from long-term intimacy and deep understanding. These hands have caressed more than Xu Yang’s cheeks; he smelled the scent on that skin and immediately uttered the name Farosa.

"Throw away your clothes," Farosa’s fingers moved through Xu Yang’s hair.

Xu Yang’s nanometer armor peeled off from his skin like flowing liquid, morphing into a vest.

Farosa’s fingers, like venomous snakes, moved down from the top of Xu Yang’s head, caressing and clawing; few things in the world were as seductive as these delicate and tender fingers.

Her index finger slid into Xu Yang’s mouth as if offering a reward, bringing them even closer together.

Farosa was now shrouded in mystery, her body that of a capricious deity; her explorations grew bolder, and Xu Yang’s responses, more fervent.

Each time they touched, the frequency of their heartbeats synchronized, and neural circuits of identical patterns emerged in their minds; in that moment, they reaffirmed an incontrovertible truth—they had been cast in each other’s shape, becoming two puzzle pieces of matching size.

Conscience and malice, tranquility and mania, mortal and divine, human and Witch. They needed to merge, to merge more completely, not just for a moment or a lifetime, but for eternity.

After intense heartbeats, as day broke, they hid like two animals in a corner of the engine room.

They didn’t understand why things always turned out this way; they just yearned for each other’s warmth, longing for this moment to persist.

Farosa clung to Xu Yang’s arm, and he could feel her weight leaning into his chest.

They kissed again and again, this becoming their way of communication. Sometimes they felt that words were indeed empty and superfluous, for language is weak and often ambiguously referential; no one could accurately convey their true thoughts.

Impurities had been burned from the emotions of Xu Yang and Farosa, leaving only the purest remnants; any additional words would only shatter this perfect crystalline formation.

All they needed to do was to intertwine flesh and souls.

Xu Yang and Farosa both chose to abandon the trivial matters around them. He was hungry, he was weak, and Farosa used the Law of Recovery to reset him to the state of the previous day, ensuring he was forever spirited and vigorous.

He had given Farosa too many seeds, so many that it seemed a part of her would forever possess the nature of Xu Yang.

"I wish to weave a cocoon... to envelop us... to stop time..." Farosa coveted the moment.

Xu Yang tried to say something, but couldn’t.

He was so intoxicated.

Farosa was once merely a Witch, seductive indeed, but only within the scope of her appearance and voice.

Now Farosa was a deity, her allure to Xu Yang was no longer conveyed through sight, hearing, smell; her temptations had completely transcended the sensory world, no longer dependent on her looks, voice, or scent.

She had established unparalleled charm on the level of the soul and the heart.

Now Xu Yang could clearly feel her blazing spirit, as radiant as flames—an undeniable essence of a deity, irresistible to all.

Lets merge into one.

Their love expanded and extended infinitely without boundaries, like an ocean—the more love they had for each other, the greater the expanse of the sea.

Shrouded in a hazy bliss, Xu Yang reveled in boundless joy and endless happiness.

Days uncounted passed until one day he awoke with a start from a deep sleep.

He felt a sharp pain beneath his ribs and looked down.

Farosa was biting him.

"You, what are you doing..."

"Eating..." mumbled Farosa.

She had sharp teeth, a savage mood, and an insatiable appetite; her dietary range had expanded, and now it encompassed Xu Yang.

Farosa longed to devour Xu Yang whole.

Xu Yang felt a shiver run down his spine. Although protected by vows and the power of the Ebony Ring, Farosa couldn’t quite consume him yet, but such morbid actions already hinted at many truths.

And with Lila’s warning...

Xu Yang could only conclude that the maniacal temperament within Farosa had returned.

Farosa once again presented that threatening, maniacal side.

Xu Yang saw her eyes shimmering in the dark, her face growing even more sinister amid the terror. If he didn’t do something, Farosa would continue biting.

"Do you want to eat me?" Xu Yang pulled Farosa in closer to himself.

Having done this so many times, Farosa surrendered to her primal instinct and executed the same chain of movements as always. She burrowed into Xu Yang’s embrace, pressing her forehead to his neck, while Xu Yang’s arms wrapped around her from behind, like embracing a child.

In this posture, Farosa comfortably closed her eyes, purring almost like a kitten. She didn’t answer but became ever quieter.

"What’s the matter?" Xu Yang’s hands moved down Farosa’s smooth back, as if stroking a kitten’s fur.

"You betrayed me... I can only eat you to prevent you from committing more betrayals," Farosa said without opening her eyes.

Oh no, the cat was about to devour the bird.

While continuing to soothe Farosa’s emotions, Xu Yang pondered how to avoid being buried in the belly of a goddess.

He remembered how Farosa consumed her food; she tore apart the remains of the old gods like tearing seafood, digging out the eyes and tentacles of deities with her bare hands; she twisted the arm of the Great River Goddess into pieces, blood dripping from her lips as she feasted.

If she wanted to eat Xu Yang, it would likely be over in an instant, and as she said, Xu Yang would forever stay inside her stomach.
