The Spearmen quickly turned their barrels to shoot at it, as A40 dashed to avoid a hail of bullets, but obviously could not outrun them, soon getting hit several times, its speed drastically reduced.

"Huang Feng!" A40 shouted again, but it only revealed its location on the beach.

"A40!" she called out.

In the distance, Huang Feng saw a small mechanoid figure rise up at the end of the beach; it had been battered nearly to pieces.

"Huang Feng!" A40, leaning on a knife, struggled to stand.

A40 slowly walked towards Huang Feng.

Meanwhile, the Spearman robot, holding Huang Feng tightly, meticulously retreated into an air raid shelter inside the island’s mountain.

Step by step, they entered the tunnel where several other Spearmen had already raised their guns, aiming at the mouth of the cave.

Watching this scene, Huang Feng was almost speechless.

"Don’t come over!" Huang Feng cried miserably, without strength, "Don’t come over!"

"I won’t give up on you, Huang Feng..." A40, with a knife in hand, slowly walked toward the cave entrance.

The Spearman robot dragged Huang Feng into the depths of the air raid shelter, took a position against a cargo container for an advantageous spot, and then raised its gun, pointing it outside as well.

A40, after the several rounds of strafing on the beach earlier, was riddled with holes throughout its chassis.

The five Spearmen robots inside the air raid shelter, as soon as A40 reached the entrance of the tunnel, rapidly opened fire, with countless bullets whizzing past in a hailstorm.

The Spearman robot behind her clamped Huang Feng even tighter and continued to drag her deeper into the air defense facility.
