Chapter 679: Chapter 568 Express Delivery War_3

"Once the Nestor Corporation has landed, they won’t allow even a sliver of Black Fire Innovation’s forces to remain at the Qinwang Fortress. Since they wish to stay here, it’s clear they are testing Nestor Corporation’s resolve, and we can only respond with utter destruction," Xu Yang shook his head.

Kabalin and Ramali exchanged glances, both feeling quite helpless.

"If that’s the case, when do we make our move?" Ramali asked.

"Now," Xu Yang said.

Ramali pressed his forehead, finding it all so unbelievable. The Nestor Corporation had only just landed and was already thinking about uprooting the Qinwang Fortress.

"If we can’t take it down, it will give people cause to talk, and it will bolster Black Fire Innovation’s morale. They have repeatedly triumphed in corporate wars and are not easily defeated," Ramali advised.

"Right after we finish our meal, we’ll go and destroy it. Please lead the way," Xu Yang replied.

Ramali trembled all over. How could they possibly take down the Qinwang Fortress with just those Elite Soldiers they brought along from the port?

After the meal, Ramali drove them 40 kilometers south to the Qinwang Fortress. The Elite Soldiers followed in military vehicles, and every time Ramali saw those light infantry, he felt an ominous premonition. The Qinwang Fortress boasted indestructible cannons and automatic turrets, capable of destroying countless native armies, and the Elite Soldiers were surely doomed as well.

At the edge of a jungle where they could see the fortress, Ramali insisted that they stop. The fortress spanned a vast area, resembling a cluster of factories, repair shops, and docks. Its personnel, ships, and artillery arrays were all well-prepared, a seemingly invincible entity to the locals. The surrounding land had been cleared, barren, to prevent anyone from using the forest as cover to approach and harass.

"Any closer and we’ll be within the firing range of the fortress’s guns," Ramali pleaded. "Let’s head back after a bit."

Xu Yang turned and spoke a few words to Aledy, who nodded and sent a message.

Shortly thereafter, Ramali heard sharp whistles as countless white missiles dived from the clouds, at least hundreds of them, bombarding the Qinwang Fortress in turns. The earth quaked and nearly split open as if from seismic tremors. Ramali’s legs went weak as he watched the entire military base disintegrate inch by inch under the relentless bombardment. Flames soared, igniting a hellish inferno that nearly caused him to fall.

Next came a fleet of "Military Attendant" class fighter jets from afar over the sea, approaching and then tail-spinning to release large quantities of ground missiles, each aiming for the docks, warehouses, command centers, and barracks. They bombed the already crumbling remains, and with a series of deafening explosions, everything thundered, collapsed, and was destroyed!

A few minutes later, several heavy-duty military shuttles approached. Like a flock of black birds, they flew over the fortress, dropping thousand-kilogram bombs that bore into the depths. Blasting from the bottom up, the roars of each explosion came from deep underground, completely demolishing the lowest structures of the fortress. No creature or machine could escape such an assault. Flames spread, forming a firewall along the coastline, stretching for miles.

It was a fierce assault from numerous space motherships! Only those super-sized combat platforms could deploy such a massive aerial force. Ramali, watching all of this, felt dizzy. After a prolonged bombardment, there was a new round of long-range artillery shelling, further burning, eradication, and destruction. The fortress’s 16,000 defenders were likely reduced to ashes! What was Black Fire Innovation now? They were the defeated, the defeated!

"We can go back now," Xu Yang turned to look at Ramali, who was speechless, as if having submitted to a superior power. To the small-town citizen, the assault by the Warship Troops was indeed the grandest scene he had ever witnessed in his lifetime, and it was but the tip of the iceberg of the Tech Weapon’s power to destroy heaven and earth.

As long as the space motherships controlled the skies, demolishing Anda Port and setting the entirety of Charo Island ablaze was just a matter of hours. With such an efficient force projection platform, the corporation’s firepower was unassailable.

"I want to work for Nestor Corporation," Ramali muttered, his expression changing from bewildered to enraptured. He looked up at Nestor Corporation’s military aircraft and the new wave of bombing forces, his entire being soaked in thoughts of submission. The fortress was soon left without a trace, leaving behind a sunken blackened ground. Ramali was now completely confused—had anything ever existed there? The only certainty was that the victors and conquerors of the war had arrived...
