Chapter 415: Chapter 373: Unable to Move Forward_2
Lila learned of this clue and asked Yonka to record the surrounding scene.
The advance of the Nestor Legion was underway, with countless bullets, artillery, and missiles bombarding the elaborately dressed Angel, but she seemed to possess infinite power, and conventional kinetic weapons along with energy ammunition couldn’t inflict any damage on her.
Lila planned to open the situation from the inside out.
If they could confirm a safe zone and avoid Mireya, they could have 101 teleport the combatants in, clear obstacles from within, and attack the Angel.
This way, the initiative for the entire incident would be entirely in their hands.
Hosoda Yoshiyuki conveyed the message to Yonka accurately.
"If you take pictures of your surroundings, we will come to rescue you," Hosoda Yoshiyuki sent the message.
Yonka was nervous and anxious.
What a joke...
The body he currently possessed had no photographic function!
How could he record the surroundings!
"Give your will over to me!" the Nightmare Program emphasized.
Forget it, there was no way out at the moment... Just give it up! Yonka relinquished his control, temporarily shutting down his control over the Nightmare Program.
The Nightmare Program, once freed, instantly replaced Yonka, reveling in this living human form.
"Power, flesh, heartbeat!" the Nightmare Program clenched its fist, quietly proclaimed its rebirth, "I am the natural enemy, I am immortal!"
It spun around quickly, identifying the citizen with the highest degree of modification nearby, understanding that the more a body was mechanized, the stronger the Nightmare Program’s control.
There was one!
meters away, the Nightmare Program found an appropriate target for possession—someone tall and imposing, coated with electroplating from the waist up, with colorful electric wires running from eyes to feet.
It swiftly pulled out its data line from the back of its skull, lunged forward, and ferociously stabbed its data line into the interface at the back of the other’s brain, beginning to seize control of their torso!
Bang!
Upon seeing this, Mireya immediately fired her gun, blasting through "Tomikawa’s" chest, but by this time the Nightmare Program had already left Tomikawa’s body with Yonka, cleansed, and overtaken the new citizen.
Subsequently, the Nightmare Program, in its new body, activated the recording function of the cybernetic eye, swiftly glanced around, and began to sprint through the cabin, constantly dodging attacks while Mireya promptly commanded the mind-controlled citizens to pursue and kill the Nightmare Program.
While fleeing, it reestablished contact with Hosoda Yoshiyuki, sending the information back.
"Found it!" Hosoda Yoshiyuki reported back the scene inside the cabin sent by Yonka.
"Have your friend draw Mireya away," Lila instructed.
"Yes."
Having received the footage, Lila instantly understood the internal structure, and once 101 was aware of the interior layout, she could teleport in safely.
"101, get ready for an assault," Lila instructed.
"Yes," 101 was ready to set off, with 102 sitting next to her.
"Where is the Chainsaw Angel?" 102 asked.
"Pan Ruiyi went to deal with her," 101 said, "The Chainsaw Angel’s mental state is unstable."
"..." 102’s heart filled with apprehension, "I need to go find her."
"Don’t," 101 shook his head.
checked the video clip and calculated the coordinates in his mind.
"I’m ready," 101 said.
"Stand by," Lila said, "We have a new friend arriving."
At the port, Synthetic Humans made a desperate assault but were crushed by the extravagantly adorned angel. With each swing of her great sword, a blaze exploded in the distance, coating many Synthetic Humans with an inextinguishable golden flame. Their mechanisms instantly began to malfunction, and their combat power swiftly diminished.
To date, not a single Synthetic Human had managed to board the deck; the Haiyun sounded a long moan and began to slowly depart from Anjiu City Port.
Mireya, while chasing the embodiment of the Nightmare Program, also controlled the entire ship’s departure using Digital Mind, preparing to leave Anjiu City Port.
Lu Jing followed closely behind Mireya, constantly deploying an Anti-Magic Power barrier to ensure Mireya’s safety. Mireya certainly did not want to be killed by Farosa’s magic power, thus she remained vigilant at all times. According to her tests with the angel, Lu Jing’s Anti-Magic Power was extremely effective. They were all fortunate to have undergone Lord Dilnai’s transformation; as long as they completed their mission successfully, they would probe Farosa’s strength.
The Nightmare Program ran swiftly, fleeing from the controlled citizens hunting it, overloading the body to increase speed. When it saw a shipboard information station at the end of the corridor, it hurriedly rushed over, collapsing onto the control panel, pulled the data wire from the back of its head and slammed it in with force. As long as the transfer was completed, the Nightmare Program and Yonka would enter the entire information system of the Haiyun!
From a distance at sea, Lu Sizhou gazed at the Haiyun. In her view, the ship was pulling anchor and leaving port due to a military assault by Nestor Corporation. If she waited for the Haiyun to re-enter stealth sailing mode, finding it again would be a matter of an uncertain future.
"Action," Lu Sizhou signaled.
In the sky, the Tenjouin Family’s twelve Shuttle Machines approached in a diamond formation.
As a Dominator Witch, Tenjouin Shino had long since been in control. She gazed at the brightly lit Anjiu City Port in the extreme distance, the bursts of gunfire—all so familiar to her. She had done similar things before.
She took a deep breath.
"All Directions Stop!" Tenjouin Shino shouted forcefully, releasing her strong magic power.
The magic power spread throughout the entire ship, simultaneously covering much of the port. Everything fell into stasis—the angels, Nestor Legion’s Synthetic Humans, mind-controlled citizens, the body hijacked by the Nightmare Program... Only Mireya and Lu Jing seemed unharmed under the protection of the Anti-Magic Power.
Lu Jing’s Anti-Magic Power barrier floated around her and Mireya, resisting Tenjouin Shino’s magic power. Yet, Lu Jing still did not seem tired, which attested to the powerful efficacy of her magic.
Indeed, having a reliable Witch to accompany her was useful, Mireya thought to herself.
She looked around—all had come to a standstill. Mireya swallowed hard. Such an occurrence was too terrifying; even the voice of the angel had vanished without a trace, clearly affected by the halt.
She had to hide, as the entire ship must have been struck by Tenjouin Shino’s magic power. Mireya touched Lu Jing’s face as a reward and then urged her to follow. She needed to hide in a place unknown to others. Whoever came in, she would obtain a new puppet—provided they were not those accursed mechanical minds.
Within the entire ship’s network modules, Yonka and the Nightmare Program scrambled as data files, seeking a suitable place to hide within the subsystems, in order to avoid being caught by anti-virus software. The Nightmare Program was starving, only waiting for the next victim and the ship’s data systems to make a physical link.
"Mission completed," Tenjouin Shino said.
"Assist our company in reclaiming this ship," Lu Sizhou ordered.
Back at Shijin Mansion, Farosa had returned, radiant with vitality. She reviewed the video that was collected; when "Yonka" was running wildly in the cabin, he saw all those shipborne cargoes.
She couldn’t help but zoom in for a closer look.
"These are clearly magical materials," Farosa stared at the colored powder in those cyan-gold bottles, her mouth watering, "They’re locked in the port? We need to empty it before anyone else gets there."
