Chapter 351: Chapter 320 Witch Trade

Mizuiro Yoshioka was reluctant to wake Du Qianqian up, but when Du Qianqian woke up, she found that Little Fool had fallen asleep instead.

"Sorry," Du Qianqian hurriedly apologized to Mizuiro Yoshioka.

"I messaged the boss," Mizuiro Yoshioka was exhausted, "he got back at 6 this morning, said it’s no problem."

"We can finally recruit more witches," Du Qianqian said joyfully.

"...on the condition that we must have an adult witch lead the team, and we must standardize the recruitment process and conduct background checks," Mizuiro Yoshioka stated.

"The only adult witches here are Pan Ruiyi, Miyazato Kazama, and you," Du Qianqian remarked, somewhat surprised.

"You got to the heart of it, try to get Pan Ruiyi or Miyazato Kazama to take you out."

"I can go out by myself!"

"Last time you went out alone, you got shot... Behave, I’m going to sleep," Mizuiro Yoshioka looked back at the Young Witch dormitory; it was their wake-up time, and the entire dorm became even noisier. The Young Witches who had school dressed in uniforms with little skirts, getting ready for breakfast, while the smaller ones began to frolic and play in the Blanket Castle.

It was 101’s turn to take the day shift; she passed through Du Qianqian and Mizuiro Yoshioka like a phantom. Du Qianqian handed Little Fool to 101, who, without saying a word, disappeared from Du Qianqian’s sight.

Du Qianqian scratched her head, slightly bewildered, but, anyway, she now had the authority to recruit a group of new witches to join Shijin Mansion. They would take care of the Young Witches’ daily lives, or help the company continue to expand in other areas.

It was crucial for the witches to provide immediate combat capabilities and use magic power for various purposes. The Seven Witches had gradually gathered, forming the core backbone of the Witch Council; now it was time to further expand.

Du Qianqian took out her little booklet; previously encouraged by Lila, she had been collecting psychological profiles of organization members to keep track of their thought conditions.

The boss had conviction; Lady Farosa was great; Lord Lila was very serious... Du Qianqian added her own records and understanding to the files. Like a ghost was 101, 102 the fool, Shallow Dream was arrogant, Mizuiro Yoshioka was kind, Pan Ruiyi was large, Miyazato Kazama liked girls.

After registering, Du Qianqian rubbed her hair and went to the cafeteria for breakfast, where she saw 102 and couldn’t help but boast about her experience at Junyue Hotel.

"...So, it had a really, really big meeting room and baths," Du Qianqian said, "truly prepared for top-tier business meetings, hundreds of robots waiting to attend to me, there’s no place prettier than that, really, you all missed out big time..."

Having said that, she couldn’t help but tilt her face upwards, waiting for 102’s envious gaze. However, 102 merely looked up, mouth agape, looking utterly bewildered.

"Oh!" It took a while for 102 to realize that Du Qianqian was expecting her to comment, "That’s amazing!"

"You’ve ruined the mood," Du Qianqian said, carrying her plate to the buffet counter to get herself a big piece of steak.

"Steak for breakfast, were you starving yesterday?" Miyazato Kazama entered the dining hall and saw the meat on Du Qianqian’s plate.

Du Qianqian had hardly ever had anything nice to eat, naturally, she was obsessed with meat, but she was unwilling to admit her embarrassment to Miyazato Kazama.

"It’s a personal habit," Du Qianqian said proudly, like a peacock, puffing out her chest as she returned to the table. "Oh, we’re going to go out and recruit new witches to join. Are you coming with me?"

"I have a research task." Miyazato Kazama helped herself to some rice, miso soup, and radish slices. "You can go out on your own, can’t you?"

Du Qianqian didn’t want to speak about the key issue here, but 102 could guess.

"An adult has to accompany you," 102 said, trying to hold back a laugh. "Because they’re afraid Du Qianqian will get hurt by someone again."

"Like a fool," Du Qianqian muttered under her breath.

Since Miyazato Kazama was not available, Pan Ruiyi was the only option left. Du Qianqian ran to the indoor swimming pool inside the mansion. Pan Ruiyi, wearing sunglasses and a black swimsuit, lay on a metal lounge chair playing with her phone, with watermelon juice and bread on a glass side table nearby—she looked as comfortable as one could be.

"We’re going to recruit new witches to join," Du Qianqian said. "Come out with me."

"I have to work," Pan Ruiyi responded, pointing her tiptoes, with her red nail polish gleaming brightly. "I am the executive security officer of Shijin Mansion, a knight of Lady Farosa."

"Do you look like a security officer!" Du Qianqian complained.

"What can I do if there are no enemies?" Pan Ruiyi sat up from the pool lounge chair, took off her sunglasses, and gave Du Qianqian a glare that nearly made her heart skip a beat.

"So you can accompany me out," Du Qianqian said. "This is no longer an internal affair but fieldwork. Honestly, your talents are wasted here!"

"No thanks," Pan Ruiyi moved her chair to a place in the room where the sunlight shone. "I’m going to sunbathe now, go away."

If no adult accompanied her, Du Qianqian wouldn’t be allowed to go out, and she didn’t want to wait until Mizuiro Yoshioka was free.

Pan Ruiyi gave off a terrifying impression to Du Qianqian because Pan Ruiyi was definitely the strongest fighter among them, without a doubt.

Hmm... Du Qianqian racked her brains.

Got it!

"Then come with me to pick out a shuttle craft; let’s go to the shuttle machine shop," Du Qianqian suggested.

"Oh?" This piqued Pan Ruiyi’s interest. "Buying a shuttle craft?"

"Yes, our own," Du Qianqian said, striking while the iron was hot. "It belongs to the Witch Council. The Purple Wind is the boss’s ride, so we’ll buy one for ourselves. We can go for joyrides or visit shopping malls."

"Do you have the money?" Pan Ruiyi stepped down from her chair. She didn’t have the habit of saving, and she didn’t even know where her money went, often broke. Fortunately, her official status was under a ban, or else she would have taken on lots of consumer loans.
