Chapter 1226: Chapter 942 The Final Battlefield of Good and Evil_2

"Previously." Archangel Michael flapped his white wings, "Indeed, Farosa’s power had infiltrated into her body, but I cut it off in time."

"This means that she and the other witches here have already been summoned by Farosa once. Her power could actually penetrate here. Lord Michael, please make sure to check if it’s possible to eradicate such interference." Lady Honma said.

Archangel Michael inspected the state of the Witch, his halo slightly glowing as if to illuminate Delaney’s soul.

"No... no, Farosa’s power, like a virus, has already penetrated. I can still see Farosa’s glimmer in her soul. Farosa now seems to have become too powerful. Although she cannot yet stand on equal footing with Dilnai the True God, she has already become a true enemy of Good." Michael warned.

"..." Lady Honma nodded, "I understand."

Michael took his leave, as he still needed to lead the angels to form the last line of defense against Farosa’s full-scale assault.

Lady Honma stood at the prison cell door; in the spacious cage ahead, each room imprisoned a bound Witch. They were powerful, once loyal mercenaries for the Lighthouse Core, but now, after being infiltrated by Farosa’s power, Lady Honma could no longer trust them.

"Madam, how should we handle them?" asked the manager of the witch containment facility.

"Detonate the bomb collars." Lady Honma said.

"Whose?" the manager asked.

"All of them." Lady Honma said coldly, "Should we wait for Farosa to break in and let these witches become her assets?"

Delaney, a captive, was originally half-asleep, but upon hearing Lady Honma’s voice, she opened her eyes wide, staring at her in horror.

"Mmm-mmm—" Delaney made a muffled sound, controlled and unable to speak, she struggled desperately, as if pleading. She, and thousands of witches around her, had once worked for the Lighthouse Core’s cause.

"Execute them all, I won’t repeat myself." Lady Honma raised her hand, then lowered it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The containment facility shook, with a thousand heads exploding in response. Lady Honma looked unmoved at the headless, blood-soaked corpses in the cells before her, nodding slowly.

"This is what ’leaving no future troubles’ means." Lady Honma said, "At least internally, there is nothing to worry about now."

Meanwhile, a guard from the Lighthouse Core Company wearing Pale Legion armor quickly arrived.

"Lady Honma." The soldier salutes, "I am Lieutenant Galan. The enemy forces have approached. On behalf of the Lighthouse Core board, I request: Initiate the Ark Plan immediately to transfer the consciousness of our senior representatives and 100,000 elite personnel from the New Taixi State to another star."

"The key is in my hand; I’ll wait for the right moment to start. Now is not the time; I don’t want my allies to abandon me at such a moment." Lady Honma said.

"Madam, they are investors and senior elite managers who have dedicated years of effort to our company, and the remaining personnel are the most outstanding scientists, engineers, technical elites, and cultural workers of human civilization. They offer no direct help to the current war. On the contrary, if the Ark Plan is initiated to let them escape this catastrophe, it will also help to preserve our civilization’s finest seeds." Lieutenant Galan said.

"I’ve had a million opportunities to abandon you and leave alone, but I haven’t. And now you want to abandon me and flee? I won’t allow this to happen, and I hope you consider it carefully, Lieutenant Galan." Lady Honma taunted.

Lieutenant Galan looked silently at Lady Honma.

He took a step forward.

"Madam, we need the key to launch the Ark Plan. This matter concerns the future and destiny of us from the New Taixi State. It does not allow outsiders to continue obstructing." Lieutenant Galan’s tone was icy.

She raised her head, suddenly feeling the opponent’s armor seemed uniquely tall,

and then realized she had come to this containment facility, with few guards around, and the angels had gone to the front lines.

She subconsciously called out:

"Mr. Yagawa..."

But no one responded.

...

The ground rumbled.

The final assault had begun.

The last mega warships of the Lighthouse Core launched into the air, with numerous fighters dispatched in batches, vying for air supremacy with the Allied Forces.

Previously at Anchorage, the Allied Forces’ aircraft could only rely on warships for transport, but now, having landed on the mainland of New Taixi State, they directly built over 100 frontline airports. The vast "Ten Thousand Machines Formation" roared into the sky, covering the sun and relentlessly bombarding the Lighthouse Core below.

In contrast, the Lighthouse Core’s aircraft seemed like mantis arms trying to stop a chariot, quickly submerged in the overwhelmingly superior numbers of the Allied air force.

Archangel Michael rushed to the battlefield, maintaining the line.

When he landed on the battlefield, the surrounding wasteland was immediately shrouded in withered shadows. His eyes flashed with the wrath of the Sky Kingdom, holding a burning golden greatsword.

He roared through a fleet of fighter jets, unleashing a white death array. The sword energy in his hand rampaged, slicing open the jets’ exteriors and engines, destroying six jets in a single blow!

The soldiers of the Lighthouse Core fought desperately. Seeing the angel arrive, they instantly revived, recovering from the first wave of the Allied air assault.

When the Allied Forces bombarded Michael with anti-aircraft weapons, each heavy gunfire and javelin missile seemed to only scratch his armor.

The diminutive Laila flew into the sky, spotting the prominent Michael, and engaged in a life-or-death battle with him.

"Die!" Laila unleashed all of her magic power, directing her scorching beam towards Mieel.

The ray struck Mieel, but bounced off. His martial skills were unparalleled, and he immediately counterattacked, swinging his sword at Laila.

"Ah—" Pressured by the might of the archangel, Laila’s body veered significantly, letting out a scream filled with fury and pain.

"Such a young witch on the battlefield? Let me give you a merciful end!" Mieel charged forward, wielding his giant sword.

Filled with shock, Laila hastily retreated.

At the corner of her eyes, a bright red light flashed—

In an instant, a deep crimson magic ribbon entwined around Mieel’s sword, forcefully flinging the giant sword aside!

Archangel Mieel responded swiftly, propelling himself upwards with his six wings.

"It’s you!" Mieel was taken aback.

Laila looked up to see her rescuer and was equally astonished.

"Mom!" she shouted.

Farosa!

"Bring Dilnai out to meet me," Farosa said coolly, gesturing as Mieel’s giant sword shattered into pieces.

"Enemy of Good, you will be slaughtered today. We have foreseen your fate," Mieel declared.

"Mom, he’s bullying me!" Laila shouted.

"Hmm?" Farosa glared at Mieel.

In an instant, immense scarlet lasers erupted from Farosa’s eyes, like super light beams, piercing through Mieel! The ultra-high temperature stream tore through the angel and his armor, leaving a gigantic void, sparks flying.

"Ugh—" Archangel Mieel was instantly killed, unable to retaliate at all!

The soldiers on the ground, both allied and Lighthouse Core, were shocked.

"What was that?"

"The Angel Mieel has been killed?"

"Lord Dilnai above! Save us!"

"The birdman has been shot down!"

"Such terrifying power!"

"Yay!" Laila clapped and cheered.

Mieel fell downward, his wings aflame.

Farosa waved her hand again, and a shocking explosion suddenly erupted in mid-air, blinding all who stared into the flames!

When it faded, Mieel was gone—erased by Farosa’s power!

A vast silence descended.

People were so shocked they nearly forgot to shoot or breathe, watching the scene unfold.

Yet not because of Farosa’s power.

But because, from the void, Mieel’s form gradually restored.

He lay nestled in the embrace of a much larger silhouette.

Holding him was a great deity with twelve pairs of giant angel wings. Her wings shimmered with holy gold and pale silver, like the exchange of sun and moon, shining brilliantly.

Each pair of wings was vast, stretching tens of meters, with pinions robust like wood and smooth as gold. As she unfurled all her wings, it appeared as a giant halo of light, covering all things under sacred glow, inspiring awe and worship.

"Lord Dilnai..." Mieel, weakened, rested in Dilnai’s embrace.

Dilnai touched Mieel’s eyes and then healed him, letting him return.

She took out the cross spear and holy torch.

So swift that Farosa couldn’t see, couldn’t see at all.

Dilnai pointed the cross spear at Farosa, her voice like a choir of thousands.

"Behold, the fury of the Sky Kingdom is upon me."
