Chapter 1013: Chapter 801: Breaking into Dragon Gate Mansion_2

"Travel through the weak points of the spacetime nodes, the Dragon Gate Mansion should also be situated within the ’interval.’" Farosa said.

The interval... Xu Yang was also familiar with this mystical concept.

The world people occupy is the real world, while the spatial fissures of the world lead to the "interval," an expansive and boundless region akin to a sort of subspace, where many Mystics carve out their own domains.

Farosa’s Nangong Island, Mond’s Moonlight Garden, Yan Duo’s dry wilderness, all reside within the interval.

Pan Yuan’s Dragon Gate Mansion is most likely in the interval as well, accessible directly with the right approach—like a wormhole.

"What are we taking?" Xu Yang asked.

"The Divine Radiance." Farosa answered decisively.

"Makes sense..." Xu Yang sighed.

Though he had originally treated the Divine Radiance like an RV, it was extremely powerful, perfectly suited for a daunting mission like space traversal.

"Alright then," Farosa sketched out a plan mid-air, painting words with magic power like colorful graffiti, "You’ll first pilot the Divine Radiance to Nangong Island, then make a jump to move within the interval and teleport to the Dragon Gate Mansion."

"Me? You’re not coming?" Xu Yang asked.

"I need to make some preparations." Farosa said enigmatically.

At that moment, Xu Yang felt once again the dangerous and mysterious aura of Farosa.

"I’ll handle it then." Xu Yang nodded, "I’ll need a few Witches to join me. Sister 101 and 102, along with the Storm Princess. Pan Ruiyi and the Renwang Security personnel are on external patrol, so let’s leave them out."

"Very reasonable." Farosa said succinctly, "And what’s your plan for communication? When you’re deep inside the Dragon Gate Mansion, you’ll need to keep in constant contact with the outside world."

Xu Yang pondered.

"...How about using quantum communication technology?" Farosa suggested.

"What?" Xu Yang didn’t expect Farosa to bring up a technique from the technology sphere.

"The Divine Radiance is equipped with relevant devices." Farosa explained, "Nestor Headquarters also has such capabilities; they can create matched entangled particles. The only challenge is having someone maintain the foundation for cross-dimensional micro-particle communication."

"Mond can do it." Xu Yang said.

"Hm?" Farosa hadn’t expected Xu Yang to seek assistance from a Mystic so quickly.

"It’s a master of spacetime techniques. Among the Mystics we know, only Mond has the ability to locate the Dragon Gate Mansion." Xu Yang stated firmly.

"Then summon it. Tell it we’re embarking on an expedition to the Dragon Gate Mansion." Farosa said calmly.

Xu Yang drew a magic formula mid-air for communicating with Mond.

A moonlight-colored flame burned in the air, and from it emerged Mond’s aged voice.

"Xu Yang?" Mond asked, "What’s going on?"

"Long story short, we need to visit the Dragon Gate Mansion. Its entrance might lie at Weak Water, but we can’t cross thousands of miles to enter via Weak Water. So we’ll have to figure out how to use the interval instead since Nangong Island and the Dragon Gate Mansion both exist within it. We were wondering if you could assist us in determining coordinates, creating a portal, and maintaining the particle channel necessary for quantum communication." Xu Yang explained concisely.

"Pan Yuan is within the Dragon Gate Mansion; you must never provoke it." Mond responded immediately.

"Can you tell us more about Pan Yuan?" Xu Yang asked.

"Pan Yuan, the Summer Dragon who summons clouds and rain, is revered across Nine States in all directions, worshipped for bountiful harvests and flourishing greenery. Though it rarely ventures overseas, everyone shows deference to Pan Yuan because its power exceeds ours without question. However, Pan Yuan has remained hidden within the Dragon Gate Mansion for the past thousand years, its purpose unknown. Regardless, it possesses a noble temperament. If you’re fortunate enough to encounter it, be respectful." Mond said plainly.

"I see..." Xu Yang nodded in understanding.

"Enough chatter, hurry and find a way to open a portal to the Dragon Gate Mansion." Farosa commanded.

"I’ll try. Once you make it to Nangong Island, I’ll do my best to create a portal. You’ll have only one shot. I’ll cast spells from the Moon, positioning both Nangong Island and the far-off Dragon Gate Mansion. The portal will last no longer than five seconds." Mond said slowly.

"Understood. We’ll enter the Dragon Gate Mansion as swiftly as possible and arrive within the agreed time." Xu Yang promised.

"The battle at Dragon Gate Mansion will determine Xia’s future; you must proceed with utmost caution. I can ’hope for Qi,’ and earlier I observed Lu Sizhou’s Qi—this woman’s fate is resilient, her blessings long-lasting and abundant. Your encounter will be pivotal, so tread carefully." Mond warned.

Lu Sizhou, a woman destined for longevity? Xu Yang felt displeased.

He was eager to test Lu Sizhou’s mettle and see whether she truly carried blessings and fortune.

On the flip side, if the perils of Dragon Gate Mansion couldn’t end Lu Sizhou, then her fate was indeed indomitable, enough to dominate Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing.

Xu Yang unloaded Xu Cheng and Bubble from the Divine Radiance, preparing 101, 102, and the Storm Princess to accompany him for the grand mission.

"Ready to depart!" Star Weaving Lady announced, her morale high as she took charge of piloting the Divine Radiance.

"Wait—" Yan Huarou’s voice came from outside.

Xu Yang opened the hatch and saw Yan Huarou clutching something in her hand.

When she approached, she handed Xu Yang a device resembling a special transmitter.

"What’s this?" Xu Yang frowned.

"You’re part of Xia, so you should know the anecdote of ’Exquisite Strategy.’" Yan Huarou said with deliberate gravitas, "This is our Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing’s strategy pouch. When you face a dire situation at Dragon Gate Mansion, open this device—it will ensure your survival."

"...Alright." Xu Yang inspected the transmitter.

Though crafted with Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing’s techniques, it was peculiar, lacking the typical ancient motifs and complex maxims of their designs—just a simple, rectangular black transmitter.

He decided to dismantle it on the journey ahead.

"I won’t participate. After all, I don’t intend to have my hands stained with Lu Sizhou’s blood." Yan Huarou stepped back.

"Go back and inform your faction’s members—Lu Sizhou’s blessings are deep and enduring. No matter how hazardous the battle at the Dragon Gate Mansion, she’ll certainly return to Guangnan Prefecture alive." Xu Yang said.

A faint shadow flitted across Yan Huarou’s face as she nodded and turned to leave.

...

Half an hour later, Nangong Island.

In the ever-gentle breezes of the wilderness, two Young Witches reclined leisurely on benches, sipping fruit juice and sharing their insights on life.

"Riko-chan, Nangong Island is the world’s safest, most comfortable place." One Young Witch declared proudly.

"Indeed, Yuka-chan. There’s no danger here, it’s perfectly safe. As long as you grow vegetables diligently, you’ll eat well and live comfortably." The other Young Witch said contentedly.

"Heave-ho, heave-ho..." Some Young Witches worked in the magical plant gardens.

They wore pale yellow hats, blue dresses, and cotton gloves. The earliest batch of Young Witches had finished the hard tasks, leaving lighter duties for the newcomers as part of their training.

"Riko-chan, this is how life should be lived." A Young Witch crossed one leg over the other, resting her hands behind her head.

"Exactly, Yuka-chan. Now let me sip a bit more from this cup called ’Happiness.’" Another Young Witch stood up.

Boom!

The sky shattered, the barrier broke, and the Divine Radiance crashed into Nangong Island!

The Young Witches were utterly shocked.

"Ahhh!"

"What is that?!" They were all terrified.

"Run away!"

"Waaa..."

"Don’t hurt me!"

"Help!"

"We’re doomed..." The Young Witches dropped their hoes, baskets, and shovels, shouting and scrambling in all directions like little carrots rolling across the ground.

The Divine Radiance accelerated through the air.

Soon after, it blasted through a sudden portal and disappeared.

"Huff huff..." The Young Witches finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"It’s gone!"

"Oh my..."

"We’re alive..." They sat on the ground, lifting their heads, mouths wide open, pointing at the spot where the Divine Radiance vanished.

...

"We did it!" Star Weaving Lady proclaimed, having perfectly navigated the portal at Nangong Island.

They arrived above Dragon Gate Mansion...

Xu Yang opened the panoramic window of the Divine Radiance, locking eyes with Lu Sizhou.
