To avoid coming off as suspicious, I didn’t try to change the seniors’ mind again. I felt numb as I returned back to the party, while my mind reeled hard. I kept waiting for happiness and relief to consume me but I got nothing.

My mind returned back to the last two days whereby I had been trapped in the Prince’s room. It had almost felt like a dream, all that went down there still felt unbelievable. He could have chosen to take advantage of me during that period. When I returned back to the party and revealed the latest update to Jake and Theo and Bella, they were all relieved of my hehelf.

When Jake and I were returning back to our room, the world spun around me because I later gave into pressure and dtank the content of the red cup. Now, I was clinging onto Jake’s arm as he led the way down the narrow hallway.

"You’re such an adorable drunk, and you barely consumed any alcohol." Jake drawled around a chuckle and I tried to argue but ended up hiccuping. Jake laughed and patted my head and I shoved his hand off while glaring at him, or at least that’s what I’m hoping that I was doing after stopping a few moments ago.

"You don’t seem as happy as I expected by the news of you not being assigned to serve the prince again." He pointed out quietly and I huffed as I let out a shrug.

"Of course I’m happy. I’m just nervous about the new position I’d be assigned to tomorrow, that is all." I told him as we resumed walking.

"Are you certain?" He asked and I hummed almost half heartedly.

"Of course!"

The next morning, I woke up feeling like I might faint from how hard my head was pounding. And to worsen things, I almost walked in on one of my jerk roommates showering.

Despite apologizing profusely after the door got closed, he still had a lot to say after he got out. I’d have liked to respond but Jake was nowhere to be found since I woke up and I was still nursing a bad headache. As I shivered, I kept wondering where he went to.

When he arrived, he was sweating like he just finished running, then he handed me a drug for my headache and some water. After thanking him and using the drugs, we were heading to where we’d get breakfast from and I asked where he went this morning. He said he went for his morning run then decided to get me drugs along the way because he knew I’d need it. I thanked him again and declined his offer to run with him next time, then after our meal, it was time for us to go find out where we’re assigned to today.

Apparently, since lady Iris assigned me to the Prince’s wing, I couldn’t be fully removed from it. So, instead of being assigned to serve the crowned prince, I was now assigned to serve one of his cousins who recently just arrived.

I wasn’t too nervous this time as I want about gathering cleaning supplies and the rest, because I believed the Prince cousins could definitely not be as frightening as the Prince.

I went into the Prince wing with my cleaning supplies and took the turn described for me. I was going to clean an alpha vlad’s room, who’s also a Prince by relation to the crowned prince.

I didn’t know what to expect because there had been no time to ask anyone about what he was like or if they knew him. After knocking on his door, he opened it almost immediately and I was shocked by how charming and attractive he looked. He grinned at me and welcomed me in, but I was still quite nervous as I tentatively stepped into the room.

Once the door closed after us, he pushed me hard against the door and loudly sniffed at my throat, groaning in approval.

"What are y- you doing?" I whispered but he ignored me.
