"My bow and arrow." Si Ning extended his hand to Xiao Pei.

Xiao Pei quickly handed the bow and one arrow to Si Ning not knowing what his Master was about to do because the voice of the demon sounded everywhere, then he watched as Si Ning raised a hand just to indicate there should be silence, and the moment some saw his hand they all went quiet and within that second everybody went silent to watch what their General was about to do, Si Ning listened, Xiao Pei also listened and realised there was different frequency from all direction as long they pay attention.

The inhuman voice seemed to be coming from everywhere but the voice was coming from a location and now Xiao Pei could see why Si Ning was smirking, the demon might be no match for Si Ning and all the soldiers too listened and some realised this, they know that soon they were going to pinpoint the location. They all believed in their General that said demons don’t exist so whatever was there had to have a physical form and their General with his focused eyes they knew they would prevail and this was just a stepping stone on their path.

"General." Jiang ChenMu managed to stand beside Si Ning by dragging his group along carefully just to stay near and watch what he was about to do. He had to learn from the best.

"T..he god of dis...truc...ti..on! gra.nt me....! meal...wooooooo wooooo so to..day so so woooooo woooo so so.. I will le...t yo...u go... b..ut you...mu..st lea...ve all you ca...me w...ith wooooooo woooooo or you..... dieeeeee!!!.. you... dare tresp...ass on my home... Die!!!!" The voice was cracking like a ghost choking on a scary television horror show, it sounded all over the mountain yet they didn’t see a thing and it was so scary that Song Feng kept being alert with his dagger right in front of him ready to attack anything that appears out of the shadows, his hand holding the dagger quivering but Si Ning listened in a relaxed manner for a while then suddenly raised his bow high up the mountain, one hundred and seventy degrees angle and he used the corner of his eye to see Xiao Pei nodded once which means he just pinpointed the right location.

"Hal....f of... yo....u leav...e the o...thers... st...ay f..or.. my... st....omach, t...ie.. yourse...lf tie your...self to...gether... and woooo woooo sta..y or I kil..l kill kill! kill!! kill!!! ev..ery....body...!!! Ha ha ah aha ha ahhhhh...."

Si Ning released the arrow after focusing on the point. The arrow flew disappearing into the space and they all waited wondering what was going to happen, some already placed their hands on the hilt of their swords, ready to draw out their swords precisely if anything appears, others hands were holding an arrow in the arrow sack strapped behind their backs ready to bring forth an arrow.

"Ah!!!....."

It seemed the demon had been uncovered because the voice they heard clearly sound humanlike, a human who seemed to be suddenly hit with something and they guessed it was the arrow. After all, their General could never miss even with a blindfold on.

"Hu...man....s....human!!!...." Another inhuman voice sounded loudly.

"Halt! they know!" Another voice that sounded completely human snapped angrily.

At that moment Si Ning finally confirmed it, he was an Actor and he was well informed about technology that could change an Actor’s voice to sound demonic through the use of software on a computer and Si Ning could see that the use of an instrument to do that already existed which means the humans pretending to be demons created it themselves. Si Ning and his men all waited till they heard movement on the surface of the rock and distance yelling, it sounded like stomping but quickly moved to sound like something rolling and it seemed something large was coming.

None of them knows what was coming but they still stood on their alert waiting to see just then something like a rock in the distance appeared to them, it was rolling down the mountain.

"Move out of the way! Flaten yourself on the wall! Quick! Move! Flaten yourself on the wall!" Si Ning yelled, his neck filled with veins as he yelled out his command, and his men all complied.

Just then large massive rocks rolled down one after the other, missing them by an inch as they dropped down hard even breaking part of where they were previously standing, the rock fell down the mountain as more large spherical shaped rocks kept rolling down and Si Ning could see their enemies were well prepared but he wasn’t about to give up and let an obstacle prevent him from reaching his goal. The rocks missed due to the mountain being slippy so they were lucky the rocky parts above them protruded out just a little prevented the rocks from rolling and crushing them all.

"Yah....!" Several yelling came around when the rock stopped rolling.

"Archers draw upward!" Si Ning commanded and just like the reserved force were waiting they all smoothly moved back a little, avoiding the broken part as they lined in a straight line, in two rows, setting their arrows on their bows and drawing them, the ropes still connecting them.

Something was coming, many of them.

"Yahhhhh!"

"Shoot!" Si Ning yelled when the yelling coming down from the mountain got closer and they all released their arrows at the same time, the arrows flew and shot down some group of aggressive looking people tied by rope jumping down from the mountain, some holding axes, spears, knives. They kept falling over and Si Ning too shot a couple, sweats rolling down the side of his face, the bandage Song Feng wrapped on his hand prevented him from taking better short so he used his teeth to grab and tore part of where the bandage was preventing him then his hands became more flexible as he keeps shooting, Xiao Pei already dropped the sack of arrows on the floor.

There was no demon on the mountain, it was humans, bandits that lived there ready to attack their target because the moment some landed on the rock, their height was much taller than the soldiers and they drew their axes or spear, started to attack the troops. They had red paints drawn straight on their cheeks, some like minus signs others drawn on their foreheads, their clothes were designed for the cold because it was made of wool, they looked so rough and pale and it was difficult to find a weakness because even sword was getting difficult to slash them through their thick wool and worst they were skilled in attacking like they had been trained in martial arts.

The bandits knew the mountain so well so they were able to run down the mountain now skillfully dodging arrows as they landed and started attacking the reserved force and pushing some out but because of the ropes tied between the men, the moment one slipped, the ropes secured them and the other managed to pull them back on the rock but those that were hit on the neck or given a fatal wound had blood gushing out and became a dead weight dragging the others down that some had to cut them off by cutting the ropes and let their bodies fall off the mountain because they couldn’t be saved.

Ahhhhh!!!" Those from the bandits’ group that fell yelled.

"General!" Xiao Pei called because he was now a few feet away from Si Ning.

"Si Ning stay behind me!" Song Feng said even though Xiao Pei was standing at his front while Si Ning kept shooting his arrows.

There was nowhere to run, no escape, they couldn’t jump down nor could they continue their journey to escape so they only had to continue fighting but their enemies had the power of stature against them.

"Shoot them down, don’t let them land!" Si Ning yelled as he brought out two arrows and shot them at a time then he increased it to three, the middle of his forefinger and middle finger were now bleeding. "Shit! Fuck! Fuck...!" He yelled out some curses and knelt on the floor this time setting four arrows at a time, his hands shaking, adrenaline rushing all over his body, his eyes red as he released his arrows making sure to take those assaulting his men down but they kept coming
