Si Ning’s eyes widened, he couldn’t believe his mother was involved. "Bring it." He was glad his mother had taken great measures in making his life go well in the palace, if he doesn’t have a gift he would have to prepare one in a hurry which means he might end up gifting out what he owned. He had no idea how his mother knew about the birthday but he was happy and curious about what the legendary silk maker he heard of made.

Ah Dai brought a box and opened it before carefully bringing out dark protective silk and he unwrapped it to reveal a plain sparking golden silk, he brought it out carefully to show the tip which was embroidered with a pure golden thread. "Young Master see." He said happily as he moved closer to show Si Ning.

Si Ning instantly sat up when Ah Dai got close and he touched it, it was so soft to the touch, dazzling in the sun and the embroidery lotus flowers pattern on the tips were perfect, there was no doubt it was really made by a master because he had never seen a top-notch quality material even the silk he received as a gift from Xiu Zhicheng was nothing compared to this, it was also on a per with his wedding attire. It would be a shame to part with a gift like that but it was a gift his mother prepared and he shouldn’t keep it for himself after all the embroidered pattern on it showed that it was female clothing.

"Young Master it is Yueqing, Yanlin’s sister that went to live in Cheng city to become a dancer, and from what I heard she is now a great dancer and responded to Madam’s invitation at once." Ah Dai explained

It was so confusing because Si Ning had no idea Yanlin had a sister or Yanyu had another daughter. "When will she get here?" Si Ning asked not wanting to ask any more questions that might confuse Ah Dai because he was supposed to know Yueqing but he doesn’t.

"She had already arrived yesterday night but had to rest and prepare, she will be here tonight but she was still shocked by Yanlin’s eloping."

Si Ning had no idea when or how Ah Dai was communicating with his home but it seemed the flow of communication was so smooth he was always updated. It was after Si Ning had dinner with the Emperor and the Emperor left did Xiao Pei showed up, he inform Si Ning that Wei took care of everything, and the rumour that Yanlin eloped already floated around that he had to control the situation which means everything was perfect, no one except them and Song Feng would know about what happened.

"Good." Si Ning made a mental note to thank his mother for her preparation, she had always been taking care of him and bringing him out of a tight situation he would likely find himself in and he was also going to thank Si Nan too because finally, it seemed his eyes would be feasting to a type of dancing style that the skill needed to be acquired and learned in Cheng city.

Just thinking of this made Si Ning stand up to his feet, finally, it was time for him to dress up as the perfect Empress.
