Chapter 578: Chapter 320 Shadow Spirit Medicine!
Accompanied by the rapid enlargement and strengthening of the Shadow Creatures,
a small Underground Palace appeared in the depths beneath the Shadow City.
Inside the Underground Palace,
the Divinity Transformation Sect Master of the Ghost King Sect had already become one of the Shadow Creatures.
He had transformed into a black humanoid shadow, continuously oozing thick dark fluids.
Suspended high in the underground space, he had merged with a multitude of gray-black crystalline structures descending from above.
Unable to move, both his Shadow Power and energy were being incessantly drawn out to the Shadow City above the ground.
It formed countless Shadow Treasure Beads, invisible to the naked eye.
These Shadow Treasure Beads served as a catalyst for the evolution and breakthrough of those shadowy figures,
saving them from spending excessive time consolidating and seeking opportunities after reaching their bottlenecks.
Next to the Ghost King Sect Master, who was now serving as a dry battery in the Shadow Ranch,
were two centers of the Netherworld Array in operation, deep within the palace.
The Sect Leaders of Black Mountain Divine Sect and Divine Fire Sect, both Divinity Transformation practitioners,
were also immobilized and heavily restricted by secret techniques, helplessly having their mana and even Divine Soul fluctuations extracted.
Unlike the Ghost King Sect Master, whose consciousness was already impaired,
these two Sect Leaders were still lucid, yet silently cursing their current predicament.
They could feel that the peculiar array, in conjunction with the domain emanating from above that seemed to stem from the same source as the Ghost King Sect Master’s,
ensnared not just them in their grievously wounded, Early Period Divinity Transformation state,
but even practitioners at the Middle or Late Period Divinity Transformation would not be able to escape this Forbidden Land.
After realizing their situation,
they desperately sent out messages during the brief moment when Su Ping transferred them through the Sun, Moon, and Stars Map,
signaling their willingness to submit.
To their surprise, this message caught Su Ping off guard for a moment,
as if it was unexpected that these two Divinity Transformation practitioners could still actively send out messages.
Consequently, they were not even given the chance to continue expressing their surrender or to negotiate by offering secrets in exchange.
Rather, additional layers of restrictions were placed upon them,
effectively reducing them to prisoners without knowing what the next day might bring...
The only consolation was that, for now, they seemed to still be of use.
Being confined here, while supplying Essence Qi and having their blood withdrawn occasionally,
meant no immediate threat to their lives, suggesting that there might still be a chance for the future!
Su Ping was not against accepting the surrender of these two Divinity Transformation practitioners,
but he lacked the means to fully control them, and more importantly, he did not trust them.
Neither could he bring himself to kill these Divinity Transformation captives outright.
Therefore, he decided to use the knowledge gleaned from the Shadow Gem to treat them as dry batteries and catalysts for the Shadow Ranch.
Su Ping felt that once his own body reached the Divinity Transformation Realm and the Blood God’s Body grew stronger, allowing for the forceful control of Divinity Transformation Great Powers’ Divine Souls, he would consider taking these two Sect Leaders under his command.
Inside a skyscraper in the Shadow City,
the prolonged frenetic gnashing finally ceased.
The twisted and blurred exterior walls of the building were violently breached.
Soon after, a beast resembling a Single-Horned Ancient Dragon burst out of the gaping hole in the building,
quickly plummeting to the ground in a parabolic arc, using its body, comparable to a heavy-duty crane, to crush a Shadow Creature the size of a public bus into powder!
The black dust had barely spread for half a second
before it was all inhaled into the body of the massive Single-Horned Ancient Dragon,
as the shadowy mist it emitted tentatively swayed with tiny, tendril-like appendages.
The Single-Horned Ancient Dragon emitted a series of strange sounds indicating delight,
and instinctively praised the creator in the sky.
Su Ping could feel the vast Power of Faith flowing from these Shadow Creatures towards him.
In a short amount of time, these creatures, now possessing rudimentary intelligence capable of generating the Power of Faith, had grown to several hundred thousand in number.
This quantity was naturally incomparable to that of the humans on Water Blue Star,
but compared to the fickle and complicated human mind,
these Shadow Creatures were much more straightforward, each almost fanatic in their devotion.
The Power of Faith provided by a single Shadow Creature equaled that of ten thousand devout followers under normal circumstances,
and their belief often came without asking for anything in return.
It was the dream source material for followers of the Incense Fire Divine Path who eagerly sought Incense Fire Divine Power.
Of course, that’s provided one could purify the corrosion of Shadow Power, which was more toxic and terrifying than Incense Fire and scarcely detectable within each thought and wisp of these Shadow Creatures.
Otherwise, even if the Incense Fire Divine Sect happened to discover this and couldn’t resist exploiting it to grow their influence,
they would soon transform into Shadow Creatures themselves and... become the pioneers of the Shadow Lord’s invasion of the world!
It could be said that Su Ping was the only one capable of maximizing the utilization of the various resources from this Shadow Ranch,
as he had the Purification Potion and countless sources of Evil Exorcism and Demon Suppression powers, among which were some of a quality certainly not inferior to that of the Abyss.
Su Ping summoned the Dharma Aspect of the World-saving Heavenly Venerate and stationed it on the top floor of the tallest building in Shadow City.
The Dharma Aspect unreservedly devoured and refined the immense Power of Faith that came its way,
while Su Ping thoughtfully pinpointed a few of the best-performing Shadow Creatures.
Following the method provided by the Shadow Gem, he took out Spiritual Medicine.
Since it was his first time,
Su Ping only used Spiritual Medicine that was a hundred years old.
Wrapping the Spiritual Medicine in Divine Power, he gently delivered it into the bodies of those Shadow Creatures.
