Grr! Grr! The phone vibrated on the bedside table, as gentle ringtone filled the room. Haeun groggily raised his head as he glanced at his phone, the sleep immediately disappeared when he saw who was calling.

He carefully got out of the bed, careful not to wake Yeongsoo up, grabbed his phone and left the room.

He called to the kitchen, since he was thirsty, it was currently 6am, why the heck was his dad calling him.

He looked up the stairs, has he found out about Yeongsoo?

Haeun finally answered the call, knowing he couldn’t escape it.

"Hey Umma...how..are.."

"YOON HAEUN! explain right now!"

"Umma its 6am, you’ll disturb the neighbors.."

Haeun swept his hair back as he sat on the counter chair, he placed the cup of water next to him as he stared at the clock.

"Whos the alpha? I have a notion but just tell me yourself.." Minho hugged his robes as he stared out the window, he couldn’t believe Haeun had been going through a lot and he didn’t tell him.

He sighed, had he been trying the wrong approach, this children of his were tight lipped when they had issues, if Dr. Choi didnt tell him, they would have probably find out about the child when Haeun couldn’t hide it again.

"Cheon Yeongsoo.."

"..!!" Minho froze when he heard the name, Haeun had actually chose him to be a pair??

Haeun sighed as he spoke again "I’m not lying, he’s the alpha I’m paired with, he’s marked me and we’re having a child together..."

Minho sighed as he shook his head, staring at his own sleeping husband. He really didn’t expect Haeun to settle down this fast.

"Aiya! You silly kids! What the heck are condoms for! Tsk! If you haven’t read my message, read it and bring the kid home for dinner. I want to meet him, your dad too..."

Haeun sighed as he cried invisible tears, there was really no escaping this.

"He might be busy, if I show up alone he’s busy, and if we do show up together...Umma don’t be weird and don’t bring out any childhood pictures. You have a bad habit.."

"..!!" Minho’s lips twitched "Say one more thing brat! Tsk! You better bring him for dinner or I’ll bring the dinner to you.."

"Yeah, yeah, can you let me sleep now?"

Minho smiled, he was worrying too much, Haeun is a strong kid and if he chose the young man then he must be a good kid as well.

"Alright, get some more rest, you tend to sleep in anyway!"

"Say hi to dad for me.."

Minho glanced at his husband and shook his head "Say hi to him my ass!"

"I can hear you! Minho you better get your ass back here.."

"Oops! Gotta run kid. And don’t skip meals, you got a kid to take care of."

Haeun sighed as the call ended, so he had to bring Yeongsoo to meet his family? It had finally gotten to that moment.

Pouring the rest of the water out and keeping the cup, Haeun headed back to the room.

Yeongsoo raised his head as the door opened, he smiled as he gestured for Haeun to come to the bed.

"??" "You’re awake, and reading a book?"

Yeongsoo nodded, Haeun mostly slept in so he wouldn’t know if he read a book or not.

"I read a Chapter or two around this time, you’re always asleep.."

Haeun stared at the cover, wondering the kind of book it was.

"What’s the title?"

"A thousand lifetimes.." Yeongsoo smiled as he showed Haeun the book cover. "The female lead reminds me of you, she’s very smart and she’s strong, she’s not afraid to take her stance and face her problems head-on."

"..." Haeun blinked in what way did the female lead remind Yeongsoo of him?

"She has the same pretty blue eyes and blond hair like you, you are obviously... more prettier and cuter than she is.."

"Don’t sprout rubbish, I’m going back to sleep.." Haeun covered the duvet over himself as he turned to the other side.

Yeongsoo chuckled and marked the Chapter he stopped, placing it back into the bedside table and turning to Haeun.

"So what did you go out to do?"

Haeun didn’t say anything, he wasn’t ready to tell Yeongsoo yet, he hoped he would let him go if he pretended to be asleep.

"It’s alright if you don’t want to tell me right now, I’ll wait until you do.." adjusting the duvet, he kissed Haeun on the cheek gently before turning to the other side.

Haeun face reddened as his heart slammed against his chest, he bit his lips resisting the urge to turn and face Yeongsoo.

Aiya at this rate I’m going to need a new heart.

Haeun mumbled as he forced himself to sleep, he would tell Yeongsoo about the dinner over breakfast.
