If it wasn’t for her hacker friend who told her that he found Moses’s story on any anonymous forum and while he was looking into Briar found the name familiar, she wouldn’t have known that Briar was so capable of such deeds.

If Logan could deny the earlier accusations, then what about this one?

Although she didn’t have time to look into the other friend, since by going there, she would alert Briar, who was currently at her home village doing god knows what there. She planned to let this news reach Logan before Briar returned.

Without that, don’t bother to contact me!" his words threatening. "And if you dare share what you just showed me with anyone, whether Briar did this or not, I will make your family become paupers in less than a day. And I mean it!"

After saying that, he left without looking back, leaving Raine slumped and her back drenched in cold sweat. However, she was smiling.

Although she had been threatened, the fact that he didn’t do that without saying it showed that he at least cared.

Raine’s eyes brightened up when she heard that and cheerfully said, "you will be rewarded greatly!"

Raine hung up the call with a calculative gaze in her eyes.

’Briar, Briar. Who made you anger so many people? This time, I didn’t frame you. Blame yourself for doing things without cleaning up! Tsk, tsk, that’s the problem of being uneducated!’ she shook her head as she thought about how easy it was to find all these in less than a week.

And to lose everything because of a woman who came to him with ill intentions and caused Briar to fall ill and lose her memory. He could see how bad the ending would be.

Even his mother would have his head if he did something like that.

Briar had proved herself to be honest from day one, and he wanted to trust her. But to do so, it seemed that he needed to meet with Moses and hear face to face what kind of lies he was going to say.

Even if the matter would end up being truthful, he would need to find a way to deal with Moses and Raine so that the matter would never pop up ever again.

After all, why would he divorce the woman he loves just because she was being accused of killing a hooligan who wanted to rape her?

With that in mind, he turned on the ignition and drove away.
