Contractually Yours: The Billionaire's Unlikely Bride -
Chapter 100: DISGUSTING SCUMBAG
Chapter 100: Chapter 100: DISGUSTING SCUMBAG
Having such an inconsiderate lover was simply too unbeneficial. It wasn’t like she didn’t know that he was still relying on Alice to be where he was today. If he loses her support, he will lose everything. Without a single thing, how could he even be with her?
Yet that lover thought that she was a deity and tried to act like Alice, being haughty and unreasonable. Having one Alice was enough. If that lover thinks that he can’t live with her, then she is a fool.
After ending that call, Tim took several breaths before calling Alice’s number.
Alice didn’t answer right there, which showed that she was angry. She even hangs up on him, showing her attitude.
Seeing the rich Missy having a temper, he clicked his tongue, thinking to himself, when was the last time she acted like that?
Maybe he had been neglecting her for a while.
He needed to make up for it and treat her well. Until he drained her dry, he still needed to act the part.
With that thought in mind, he changed his course and headed to the flower shop he loved the most.
He was going to buy flowers for a beauty.
She would definitely love them and forget all grievances.
She had always been like that always; very easy to raise.

Meanwhile, on Alice’s side, she looked at the phone, which had quieted down with a sneer on her face.
He was surely impatient.
She didn’t answer, and he gave up, but knowing Tim, he would surely cause a scene and she wasn’t in the mood to be part of one.
Without further ado, she packed her things from the office and left after telling her secretary that she wouldn’t be returning to the office.
She didn’t plan to go to her apartment as well later. If she does, that scumbag might go there and find her later.
After leaving the office, she didn’t know where to go. If it was before, she would have gone to find Anna, but that hypocrite of a friend was no longer in her life.
At this moment, it suddenly dawned on Alice that she didn’t have friends at all. Anna had kept her guarded and now she was friendless.
She suddenly felt that she was pitiful and needed to relax her mind.
Since she now planned to relax her mind, she thought of a certain club and drove over there.
When she reached there, she was welcomed warmly. She once went there with her brother two or three years ago. She wasn’t a member, but her brother was. So, they recognized her easily.
She was brought to the public lounge since she wasn’t in the mood to go into a private room. Private rooms were good with company, but without, they weren’t at all.
Besides, she wanted to see people as she indulged herself with some wine and not be depressed about life while being isolated.
"Alice! Is that you?" however, she never expected to be recognized as soon as she walked.
Just who was calling to her? She wondered as she turned her head towards the person who just called her name and when she saw the other; she froze and her aching heart found itself pounding crazily.
’When did he return?’

Tim smiled with satisfaction as he alighted from the car, holding a bouquet of roses in hand.
He looked at the majestic building in front of him and felt a pang in his heart. This whole building was something that he couldn’t afford and yet that fiancé of his could naturally be the head here.
If only he was born into a better family, then maybe it would be Alice’s turn to flatter him and not the other way around.
Anyway, he suppressed those emotions and maintained a smile on his face.
He took large strides towards the hotel building and, on his way, those who recognized him greeted him flatteringly. These were the benefits of being associated with the daughter of the Meyers.
When he got into the lobby, the female receptionist smiled at him as she made a call to the presidential office.
Tim patiently waited as he chatted warmly with the other girl, who was also attending to guests. Shortly, the receptionist who was calling looked at him with a worried expression, which made him wonder if Alice was still throwing a tantrum.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked concernedly, without signs of anger.
The female receptionist smiled wryly as she hung up the call before replying to him, "Young Master Tim, I am afraid that you won’t be able to meet with the president. She left a while ago and her secretary just told me that she won’t be returning for the day. You can call her directly."
When Tim heard that, he gritted his teeth angrily, despite the smile on his face. The hand holding the flowers nearly clenched, luckily; he held himself back as that would expose him.
He looked at the receptionist with a faint smile on his face and responded, "Thank you for your hard work." His good attitude made the girls swoon inwardly.
After saying so, he bid them goodbye and left with a smile on his face, though inwardly he cussed her generations repeatedly.
He felt as if she was toying with him. Why did she leave?
Was she trying to make a fool out of him? What was she trying to do?
Tim returned to his car and didn’t linger longer at the hotel, but drove off. Once he was a distance away from the hotel, he made a call to Alice straight away, but the call didn’t even go through at all. Whether she had switched off her phone or not, he simply had no clue.
When he was at the traffic lights, he sent her several messages, apologizing and coaxing her. The messages luckily were sent and didn’t show that he was blacklisted. They weren’t reading, which meant that she might have switched off her phone.
Thinking about what might be happening, Tim cooled down. Alice was a busy woman, despite being head over heels for him. She might be meeting a client, otherwise there was no way that she would ignore him like that.
With that in mind, he decided to go all the way. Even if he couldn’t see her now, she would still return to the apartment and he happened to have access there.
He couldn’t let her be angry for a long time. Angering Alice wouldn’t do him good. As for the lover he was supposed to meet, he would deal with her another time.
Thinking of ways to coax his fiancé, Tim decided to prepare a meal, and he drove towards the nearest supermarket. He was going to shine and make her forgive him quickly.
That trick had always worked, after all.

Meanwhile, at the club, Alice found herself much more at ease as she was seated at a table with people. She never imagined that she would be having a drink with them before.
"You have indeed grown up. To think that the last time I saw you, you were just in university!" the person who had called her name when she entered said teasingly, making her flush embarrassingly.
Seeing how the other was loving teasing her, she couldn’t help but retort, "Brother Donald, you haven’t changed at all!"
Donald laughed heartily as he looked at the young girl who had matured in years and had now become more mature.
"Haha, I just can’t help but praise. You have been doing well with the hotel. I just wanted to praise you!"
When she heard that, she beamed happily and raised her brows smugly, making the others laugh heartily.
The group chatted about this and that as they savored every sip of the drinks they were having.
"By the way, why did you come here by yourself? Do you perhaps have an appointment? Perhaps with your fiancé?" Donald asked curiously as he looked at Alice.
Alice, who had been enjoying herself and forgetting for a moment about the matter which led her to the club in the first place, suddenly turned frosty and her reaction was something that the gentlemen she was accompanying saw at once.
Donald couldn’t help but wonder who dared to make the missy of the Meyers like that. Could it be the fiancé he had heard so much about but never met before?
Alice looked at the man she once harbored thoughts of when she was young. Donald was someone who used to play with her brother. They couldn’t be considered best friends, but they were friends or acquaintances at best.
She saw Donald because of her brother, but at that time, just like Logan; he was with someone already. And he married her the following month after she recognized her feelings for him. It was a crush that got squashed before it could blossom further.
Seeing him brought out some lingering feelings, but not to the extent of losing herself like Briar. She just reminisced about the past, but wouldn’t think much further than that.
She didn’t know if he was still with his childhood sweetheart or not, but hearing his worry, she couldn’t help but want to share her frustrations with someone. She didn’t have any friends, after all.
So, she told the men without any filter about her issues, and the more Donald listened to the story, the more his brows furrowed angrily.
