Ou Yanan followed Tang Sili back to Tang Sili’s office.

"I just happened to be called to the dean’s office. Didn’t you hear what was just said? The dean mentioned I might be promoted to department head," Tang Sili said slowly.

At this, Ou Yanan suddenly understood and looked at him in surprise, "You mean, teacher, you saw everything?"

Here, Tang Sili couldn’t help but scold his somewhat foolish student, "Who do you think called the security office yesterday?"

Tang Sili pointed to his wristwatch, "From calling to police arriving, it takes three minutes if it’s fast and five or six minutes if it’s slow. In those extra three minutes, as a doctor, you know best, a life could have been lost by then."

"I admit I fell for her trap."

Hearing this, Tang Sili couldn’t help but think that his student was actually not stupid at all; however, the fact that he was easily tricked despite that made the problem all the more evident.

Seeing Tang Sili not speaking, Ou Yanan sighed to himself: he had realized later on his way back that he had indeed made a mistake.

"Doctor Ou, she is a married woman, and her husband is my boss."

"Teacher, I—"
