Rushing to grab another set of basketball clothes, Luo Yang headed to the bathroom, while Ye Qiu shook his head with amusement.

As Ye Qiu stepped out of the dorm, Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming were waiting outside, clueless about what had just transpired inside.

They hadn’t imagined Ye Qiu was throwing punches in there earlier.

"Brother Qiu, what were you doing inside just now?"

"Nothing much, just recruiting some little brothers."

He walked alongside Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming, heading out of the dorm building when Luo Yang, freshly showered, came running after them.

"Ye Qiu, wait for me!"

Luo Yang’s hefty frame, easily weighing over two hundred pounds, surprisingly moved quickly.

"Brother Qiu, who’s this?"

Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming were unaware of the backstory between Ye Qiu and Luo Yang from the college entrance exam.

"I’m Luo Yang. Ye Qiu and I are classmates and roommates. He saved my life during the college entrance exam!"

Luo Yang introduced himself.

The two quickly exchanged introductions with Luo Yang.

Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming shared a quiet laugh.

Ye Qiu replied with a smirk.

But to Luo Yang’s disappointment, Li Qianqian and the other two didn’t even glance at him. Instead, they seemed annoyed as they approached Ye Qiu and asked, "Ye Qiu, what were you doing upstairs? Why’d it take you so long to come down?"

"I had something to take care of."

Ye Qiu said dismissively.

"What now then?"

"We’re going shopping. Need to get Lingshow a laptop, Li Shen too, plus some daily necessities."

Li Qianqian hadn’t anticipated Ye Qiu would also be buying a laptop with Liu Lingxiu. But she knew Liu Lingxiu was Ye Qiu’s girlfriend, so she had no choice but to go along unless she chose not to follow him.

Ye Qiu pulled out his phone and dialed Liu Lingxiu. When she picked up, he said, "Meet me at the south gate with Auntie. I’ll take you to buy a laptop in a bit."

Liu Lingxiu thought Ye Qiu might have forgotten about her. Hearing from him made her exceptionally happy.

Ye Qiu, Li Shen, Zhu Zhiming, Luo Yang, and Li Qianqian, along with the other two women, headed toward the south gate of Jin University.

Along the way, Luo Yang was particularly enthusiastic. Of course, his excitement was directed at Ye Qiu. Luo Yang, being a Jinling local, had arrived at Jinling University two days early and was already familiar with the campus and nearby areas.

Now that Ye Qiu needed to shop for a laptop, Luo Yang knew exactly where to go.

They waited at the south gate for about fifteen minutes before Li Qianqian and Zhang Yuehong finally arrived.

Jin University’s campus was enormous, and walking from the south gate to the women’s dormitory would take quite a while. It seemed bicycles were the more practical choice for navigating such distances.
