The next day, when Ye Qiu woke up, he noticed a strange smell and immediately realized that he must have had a spring dream last night, and the female lead in his dream was none other than Xiao Mei, whom he had hugged last night.

Ye Qiu first called Liu Daqing. When Liu Daqing answered, Ye Qiu asked, "Uncle Liu, the new property certificate is ready. Where are you and Auntie? I’m ready to take you to finish the remaining paperwork."

"We’re at the shop," Liu Daqing replied. Ye Qiu hung up the phone, left the villa, and drove to the shop.

When he got near the shop and parked the car, he heard a lot of noisy hammering noises. Upon entering, he saw Liu Daqing, Zhang Yuehong, and three other workers doing renovations.

The three workers were busy dismantling the original walls inside the shop. When Ye Qiu arrived, Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong came out to greet him.

"Auntie, the property certificate is ready. Let’s go and get it!"

Since there was no need to take out a loan, paying all at once was much easier. Now, Ye Qiu just needed to pay the remaining amount to the previous owner to obtain the new property certificate.

After washing their hands and getting into Ye Qiu’s car, he drove towards Advisor Luo’s real estate agency.

When they arrived, Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong got out of the car and walked in with Ye Qiu. Advisor Luo and the previous owner were already waiting for them.

"Mr. Ye, you’re here just in time," Advisor Luo smiled and said.

He took out the new property certificate, a red booklet, and handed it to Ye Qiu. Ye Qiu saw that the ownership had been transferred to Liu Daqing and his wife. After confirming everything was in order, Ye Qiu paid the remaining sum of over a million to the previous owner.

After confirming that there were no issues, Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong received the property certificate and keys. Ye Qiu then prepared to take them to the elevator apartment complex.

As Advisor Luo personally saw Ye Qiu out, he said, "Dr. Ye, if you need to buy a house in the future, be sure to come to me!"

"Of course, you’ve been very helpful," Ye Qiu replied.

Ye Qiu got into the car with Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong and drove to the elevator apartment complex. Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong held the red booklet and appeared very excited, feeling like they finally had a home.

Their home in Jiangbei had burned down. Although staying at Ye Qiu’s villa wasn’t bad, something always felt missing.

Now, with the property certificate and keys in hand, they felt a real sense of belonging.

Arriving at the elevator apartment complex, Ye Qiu parked the car. The three of them took the elevator up, and Liu Daqing used the keys to open the door. They found that the previous owner had already moved out all necessary items.

This was ideal for Ye Qiu, as he considered all the old items to be junk. Moreover, Ye Qiu and the Liu couple had already bought new soft beds and household appliances, which could now be delivered from the mall and supermarket.

"Uncle Liu, let’s call the mall now to have the items sent over. I’m here to help set everything up," Ye Qiu suggested.

Following the directions on the receipt, Liu Daqing called the store and notified them to deliver the items. Meanwhile, Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong began cleaning up the apartment, throwing out the remaining trash.

Installation was included and free of charge. Though the walls were still clean and white, repainting them would make it even better. However, Liu Daqing and Zhang Yuehong felt it was sufficient as it was. Repainting would take time and money, and the new paint would bring additional pollution.

Everything was set up. As they sat on the sofa, Liu Daqing felt content. Although the apartment was smaller than their previous home in Jiangbei, it felt good to both of them.

"Uncle Liu, Auntie, when do you plan to move in?"

"Tonight. Tonight we’ll go out for dinner to celebrate moving in."

They decided not to choose an auspicious day for the move. For them, it was like moving into a rental, without the hassle of selecting a date.

Ye Qiu didn’t expect them to be in such a rush but didn’t say anything.

Ye Qiu felt that Liu Daqing and his wife’s personalities were quite similar to his parents, but Ye Weidong might be more relentless and hardworking.

As Ye Qiu prepared to head back to the Peach Blossom Source Villa Community, his phone rang. He saw that the call was from Zhao Ruxue.

"Ye Qiu, your passport has been expedited and is ready. When can you come to pick it up?"

"I’ll come over right now!"

Zhao Ruxue knew Ye Qiu needed his passport to travel abroad for a medical consultation, so she expedited the process. Using her connections, she quickly got it done.

Ye Qiu drove to the City Police Bureau, parked the car, and walked to Zhao Ruxue’s office.

When he got there, he saw Zhao Ruxue in her police uniform, eating lunch. She was having a meal from the canteen, and it looked quite varied: four dishes and a soup.

"Have you had lunch?"

"I ate just now."

"Here’s your passport and travel permit. I also helped you process it, but you can’t pick it up yet. When you return from France, come and get it from me."

Since Ye Qiu needed to go to France for a consultation and might visit Hong Kong or Macau in the future, Zhao Ruxue decided to help him process the travel permits as well.
