Chapter 1019: Chapter 1019: Jiang Xiyue’s Mother Leaves the Hospital

After Ye Qiu finished cultivating, it was already past eight in the morning. Today was the sixth day of the National Day holiday, with just one day left before returning to school.

Nevertheless, for him, this National Day holiday had been quite fulfilling.

However, Ye Qiu found it strange that throughout the holiday, his sister hadn’t gone for driving practice; it seemed she needed someone to assist her with finances.

A figure flashed through Ye Qiu’s mind; it was Jiang Xiyue, a top student for whom financial management would be easy.

But Ye Qiu quickly realized this would be a misuse of talent, and he didn’t want his family to know about his relationship with Jiang Xiyue so soon.

Now it was Jiang Xiyue who had been bought by him, becoming part of his family, and apart from her current freedoms, everything else belonged to him.

He could make Jiang Xiyue do anything he wished.

Ye Qiu got up to wash and dress, then came downstairs to find that his mother and sister had already prepared breakfast, still warm and freshly made, for the three of them to eat before heading to the Imperial Cuisine Restaurant.

After eating, Ye Qiu planned to visit Liu Lingxiu.

He wondered if Liu Lingxiu could bear the blow and injury of 0.01?

Had she been having nightmares last night?

Just after Ye Qiu finished breakfast and tidied up, his phone rang. It was a call from Jiang Xiyue.

In the past few days, Jiang Xiyue had met Ye Qiu twice at the affiliated hospital, each time accompanied by beautiful women. Yesterday was even more outrageous — he was accompanied by three beauties.

Among them, one seemed to be a head nurse whom she had seen before.

However, after some thought, she finally took out her phone and called Ye Qiu from her mother’s general ward.

"What’s up?"

Ye Qiu asked coldly.

"My mom is being discharged, are you coming?"

Honestly, Jiang Xiyue was truly amazed. Ever since she met this mysterious young man at the club that night, she felt her world had begun to change.

In such circumstances, she had no choice but to sell herself, and it was for five million.

She thought no one would agree.

Unexpectedly, she encountered a young man who dressed simply but drove a Land Rover, really bought her and dominatingly so.

Now Jiang Xiyue knew she was wholly his, including her heart.

She realized unless she wanted to risk her life to leave Jinling, she might find herself under his control.

But what surprised Jiang Xiyue even more was that besides being young and rich, this person possessed extraordinary and mysterious medical skills. Her mother, who was tortured by esophageal cancer, found herself cured completely in less than half an hour, something the hospital doctors couldn’t manage, letting her undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy while slowly awaiting death.

Over the past few days, she discovered her mother had indeed recovered completely, entirely different from before.

Previously, the pain caused by esophageal cancer and complications made drinking and eating impossible, reliant only on nutrient IV drip to sustain herself.

For that reason, her mother’s body became skin and bones, skeletal thinness starkly apparent.

However, in the past few days, her mother no longer required IV drips and could maintain bodily functions normally by drinking soup and porridge.

In this situation, her mother had grown tired of the hospital environment and wished to go home and recuperate.

On the one hand, it would save unnecessary medical expenses, and on the other, offer the chance to breathe better air at home.

Initially, Jiang Xiyue wanted to secretly handle the discharge procedures for her mother and leave quietly.

But she considered the fact that she had already sold herself to a young man, so she took out her phone and called him.

Unexpectedly, his cold response unexpectedly brought Jiang Xiyue a mix of fear and comfort.

She had thought of him as a lofty, domineering CEO, but now she realized it might be more — he was a king, and she merely a servant.

"I’ll be right over,"

Ye Qiu said in a somewhat softened tone.

Jiang Xiyue had expected Ye Qiu’s indifference, yet he agreed to come, which shifted her feelings abruptly.

She couldn’t quite understand what the young man was thinking.

After hanging up, Ye Qiu left the villa and got into his Range Rover. He drove towards the affiliated hospital.

Upon arriving in the hospital parking lot, the security guard recognized Ye Qiu and approached with a respectful and friendly demeanor.

"Dr. Ye, let me open the door for you,"

The guard said.

"What’s your name?"

Ye Qiu asked.

"Dr. Ye, my name is Ma Biao,"

The guard hurriedly replied.

Ye Qiu nodded and didn’t say anything further.

After locking the car door, he headed into the affiliated hospital.

Once inside, Ye Qiu went directly to the general ward of Jiang Xiyue’s mother, Zhu Guiyue. Jiang Xiyue had already packed her mother’s clothing and belongings, ready to leave as soon as Ye Qiu arrived.

As for the discharge formalities, Jiang Xiyue already completed them with the attending doctor a while ago, paying the remaining fees.

"Daughter, who are you waiting for?"

Zhu Guiyue curiously asked.

Actually, the day Ye Qiu treated Zhu Guiyue, she hadn’t seen Ye Qiu because she was unconscious during treatment, waking only afterward.

Zhu Guiyue hadn’t expected a young man to cure her terminal illness in less than half an hour.

She had been mentally prepared to die, but unexpectedly, she was alive and completely healed for discharge now.

"Mom, it’s my friend,"

Jiang Xiyue replied.

Zhu Guiyue presumed it was one of Jiang Xiyue’s female friends since she hadn’t heard about her daughter having a boyfriend.

Ye Qiu walked over, standing at the ward entrance, looking inside to see Jiang Xiyue sitting by Zhu Guiyue’s bedside.

As Ye Qiu approached, Jiang Xiyue noticed and quickly stood up.

"Hello, Auntie."

Ye Qiu greeted.

"Young man, are you Xiaoyue’s friend?"

Zhu Guiyue asked.

Ye Qiu nodded.

Zhu Guiyue saw Ye Qiu dressed simply, but she didn’t look down on him. After all, her own family background was modest.

With Jiang Xiyue supporting her mother—though Zhu Guiyue had fully recovered, symptoms of thinness hadn’t completely disappeared, and long periods of inactivity left her needing assistance.

Ye Qiu helped carry Zhu Guiyue’s bags along with Jiang Xiyue’s while Jiang Xiyue gave Ye Qiu a grateful glance.
