"Stop screaming Dr. Jaden, no one is going to listen to your help" a voice spoke from the louder speaker located somewhere inside the cell, startling Jaden.

Gulping a mouth full of saliva, Jaden asked," W-who are you and why have you brought me here?"

Though he was nervous still he tried to act strong.

"Good question... why have we brought you here?" the person once again spoke from the speaker.

Jaden face crumpled at his sarcastic remark and his brows furrowed in anticipation. He didn’t know who this person was but he do remember the face of the girl who approached him intending to abduct him.

A long pause engulfed the two when once again the person spoke," It’s because you have something which we are looking for" his words left him puzzled as the frown on his forehead deepened.

"So now, if you don’t want us to kill you as a bachelor then you have to cooperate" Jaden eyes widened in terror when he heard him speak the word ’kill’ and the anger on his face dissipated the next instant as fear engulfed his entire being once again.

Jaden had no clue why he was captivated but the person who was talking with him sounded too threatening for him to fight back. He was merely a doctor with no fighting skills and what if he tried to escape but still gets killed?

’No!.. I can’t let them kill me’ he panicked and quickly bobbed his head in agreement.

"I-I will cooperate with you but you have to let me go once my job is done" he requested with a pitiful tone.

"Deal. Now turn to your left. Do you see the television screen" the voice asked.

Quickly following his orders, Jaden turned his head to the left and did see a television set on the table.

"Yes.." he quickly answered.

"Now it will flash some photos which you have to identify for us. No foul play or else... there is an electric wire wrapped around your leg"

Jaden mouth dropped in shock and he quickly looked down on his legs. It did have wires wrapped around them.

"And if we sensed that you are trying to act smart or lying to us then, your body will receive a shock" The warning tone continued to threaten him.

"No!... I won’t lie... I promise." Jaden agreed to his every word without any hesitation and soon the television screen automatically turned on.

Meanwhile, Karl regained consciousness but didn’t speak to anyone. He kept his gaze focused on the wall above, ignoring the people who were watching him.

"I told you all that I am fine. You don’t have to stay here for me" After much silence he finally spoke.

His face still looked pale and his voice sounded too weak just like a mere whisper which was hardly audible for them to hear.

Noah who was sitting next to him on the chair wanted to smack his head but stopped when Tristan motioned him no.

They had been wondering what went wrong for him to lose himself this completely. ’Did he somehow try to take his life’ it was the only thought that popped into their mind.

"You think after whatever you tried to do with yourself, we will leave you, alone" Tristan spoke as he purposely stretched the word alone for him to notice.

Hearing the serious voice Karl blinked his eyes, brushing away the tears that well up, he then turned to look at Tristan.

Getting up from the couch, he watched him approach him, as he motioned Noah to step aside.

Once Noah gave him the seat to sit, he then asked," You tried to take your life, didn’t you, Karl?"

Tristan’s eyes turned extremely cold when he didn’t speak and word and looked away.

Ashley who was also present with them, noticed how weak and vulnerable Karl appeared. Unable to take it anymore, she finally spoke.

"Even Gwen is in the same situation" Her words made him snap his head in her direction as his mouth gasped in shock.

"What happened to Gwen," he asked. The thought of her harming herself popped into his mind as he tried to get up.

Tristan helped him steady on the bed and watched him turn his eyes on him with fear. "Tell me.." he literally begged as now the tears in his eyes didn’t hold back and started to stream down.

Tristan heaved out a sigh before he answered," She has isolated herself in her room and isn’t ready to talk"

His words somehow gave him a sense of relief but that didn’t reduce the pain he was feeling in his heart.

"I know something happened between the two of you and we want to know what is it and why are you both behaving like this" Tristan knew his friend was that weak to take his own life but he also didn’t expect him to get this vulnerable.

Gwen and he loved each other, then what suddenly went wrong between the two that it turn out to be this messy.

A wave of embarrassment rushed through him and Karl quickly lowered his head. He didn’t know how was he supposed to explain to them when he was so confused.

Everything that happened between him and Linda, why was he able to accept it?

When they noticed his silence, Tristan decided not to force him. He was still not healed and needed some rest.

"It’s okay if you don’t want to talk, but you know were are always there to listen to you, no matter how what ever happened between you and Gwen" Tristan stated.

Though he was upset seeing his sister cry, still he couldn’t get upset with him. He had been his friend before he became Gwen’s boyfriend and Tristan knew him more than anyone else.

Gabriel was sitting inside his office when the door to his room flung open and Max marched in with a sullen face.

The moment he noticed the coldness in his eyes, he understood that the Doctor have finally given him the answers.

"Did he confirm anything?" he asked staring keenly at his most trusted men.

"We have been right all along boss, Sandra is alive and is currently staying with her father. Her death was faked, it’s been confirmed"

Gabriel’s eyes darkened at the revelation as he clutched his palm into a tight fist feeling the sense of betrayal engulfing his heart.
