Chapter 410: Chapter 410 You Bully Me! (2nd Update)
Seeing Ling Feng leaving with his granddaughter, General Deng didn’t linger, for as the YingYang General, even though he had retired from the frontlines, he still had a myriad of matters to attend to daily.
And so, the fuming Deng Yongshi followed behind Ling Feng. Glancing back and seeing her grandfather leave with such apparent "trust" stirred her into a silent foot stomp of frustration.
Now that she had lost her cultivation, wasn’t she just like a little lamb to the slaughter?
Damn despicable scoundrel!
Deng Yongshi clenched her fists and yelled at Ling Feng’s retreating back, "You bastard, don’t think I will let you push me around just like that. I really don’t know what kind of Enchanted Potion you fed my grandfather for him to trust you so much!"
Ling Feng halted in his steps, turned back to look at Deng Yongshi, and a teasing smile appeared on his face. "I must admit, experience does come with age. If your ability to judge character was one-tenth that of your grandfather’s, he wouldn’t have needed to ask me to discipline you."
"Pah! Don’t think for a second that I’ll acknowledge you as my master!" Deng Yongshi sat down on a nearby stone stool and rubbed her legs indignantly, puffing out her cheeks, "I’m not moving another step! I’m exhausted!"
Having her meridians sealed, Deng Yongshi couldn’t summon even a trace of True Qi throughout her body. Originally, a martial artist could glide along as light as a feather, thanks to their True Qi, but now she had suddenly reverted to a "Mortal Person" and no wonder she felt utterly drained.
"You’ve barely walked any distance!" Ling Feng raised an eyebrow, "Brat, you’d better understand your situation. I advise you to cooperate nicely; otherwise, you’re in for a world of discomfort."
With these words, Ling Feng grabbed Deng Yongshi’s wrist and zipped towards the small river that connected Youlan Small House with the General Mansion.
Deng Yongshi wailed desperately, calling for help, but the servants, knowing Ling Feng was her master, only dared watch from a distance, not daring to intervene.
Joking aside, the General Mansion was ultimately under the command of General Deng, and Ling Feng was, after all, the master openly acknowledged by the General himself!
In a short while, Ling Feng landed on a dry riverbed, stood firm, and, with a nonchalant gesture, released Deng Yongshi before folding his arms and standing tall.
Once they stopped, Deng Yongshi immediately bent over with her hand over her mouth, starting to retch, "Ugh..."
Ling Feng shrugged his shoulders. He had experienced this sour, thrilling sensation himself when Yan Cangtian first took him to the Spiritual Medicine Garden. He had been merciful today. If he had gone even faster, Deng Yongshi might have vomited out her bile.
"You scoundrel, you did that on purpose!" It took a while for Deng Yongshi to regain some composure before she pointed at Ling Feng, showering him with curses.
Ling Feng arched an eyebrow, neither confirming nor denying her accusation, and simply pointed down at the riverbed and said indifferently, "Jump down."
Deng Yongshi followed Ling Feng’s finger and discovered a large section of the riverbed blocked off by several large stones, leaving a significant stretch exposed.
At the bottom was a pile of black, putrid mud, emanating a strong, fishy stench.
Moreover, unidentified bugs were buzzing and flying chaotically through the riverbed, making it look like a disgustingly filthy ditch!
Deng Yongshi’s brows furrowed immediately. "You bastard, what did you say?"
"I said jump down!" Ling Feng stood with his hands behind his back, his demeanor as serene as a cloudless sky.
"You wish!" Deng Yongshi, spoiled from a young age, couldn’t stand the sight of such foul-smelling, ugly sludge; she felt nauseous just watching from a distance and felt like vomiting—how could she willingly jump in?
Besides, her meridians had been sealed, so even if she wanted to create a True Energy Shield to keep out the muck, she couldn’t. If she jumped in, wouldn’t she be covered in the disgusting sludge?
"Not jumping?"
A wicked smile spread across Ling Feng’s lips, "Your grandfather said you were to listen to everything I say!"
As he spoke, Ling Feng moved in a flash, kicking out and hitting Deng Yongshi’s buttocks, sending her face-first into the muck.
Bang!
Deng Yongshi fell into the mud, splashing it everywhere, with a stench rising to the heavens. The foul smell poured into her nostrils and mouth, straight to her brain. The shock set her struggling frantically in the mud ditch.
"Help! Help—pfft—"
Her face was smeared with mud; her once beautiful dress was now covered in disgusting mud. Not only that, buzzing insects crawled all over her, terrifying her to the point of pallor, and her tears streamed down.
Every time she cried out, a mouthful of mud wormed its way into her mouth, choking her into a frenzy of dry heaving.
And throughout this, Ling Feng stood on the bank, his face indifferent. The black earth wasn’t from some filthy ditch; it was just ordinary river bottom mud. The small river was clear and the bottom mud wasn’t polluted at all; naturally, it wouldn’t reek as it did now.
Ling Feng had simply sprinkled some foul-smelling powder, and mixed it together, causing this vile stench.
So, although the muck was disgusting, it wasn’t actually harmful to the body. And Deng Yongshi, after all, a martial artist of the Magnetic Condensation Realm, would not die from swallowing a few mouthfuls of mud, even with her meridians sealed.
"Ah! I’m going to kill you! I will kill you!"
Deng Yongshi rolled in the mud, and just as she tried to get up, Ling Feng mercilessly kicked her back into the filth. The nauseating feeling gave her the chills, especially when those biting insects crawled wildly, biting fiercely onto her fair skin, creating both pain and itchiness.
After a while, Deng Yongshi finally stopped the curses and collapsed into loud sobs.
She had never before been humiliated like this, and now she was thrown into the sludge, rolling in it. Her heart filled with grievances and turned into tears as she helplessly lay in the mud, bawling.
"Waaah... you bully me! You bully me! Waaah..."
Deng Yongshi felt abandoned by the whole world. Her mother had died when she was very young, and her father was stationed away for long years at a time, rarely able to see him. Her grandfather, who was the kindest to her, was now ignoring her too.
Powerless and helpless, she was being bullied by the worst scoundrel in the world. The endless grievances echoed in her heart; all she could do was cry pitifully in the mud.
In this moment of utmost despair, the vulnerability hidden beneath her stubbornness and capriciousness finally surfaced.
"Waaah... bad person, you’re a bad person, the worst person in the world! Grandfather sent you to teach me, but you took the opportunity for vengeance, to bully me! You big villain, I will definitely tell grandfather on you, waaah..."
Seeing Deng Yongshi finally breaking into tears, Ling Feng cracked a faint smile, slowly crouching down by the river’s edge, and said coldly, "Miss Deng, I believe you’ve misunderstood. I’m not so idle as to deliberately bully or seek revenge on you. I am fulfilling the responsibility of a teacher, teaching you something you never understood before!"
"As the daughter of the General Mansion, you’ve always been like the clouds in the sky, but today I want to tell you that you’re no different from this sludge! No, you are even less than the sludge!"
