Champion Creed
Chapter 440 - 440 168 Someone is going to bleed Vote for monthly ticket!

440: 168: Someone is going to bleed (Vote for monthly ticket!) 440: 168: Someone is going to bleed (Vote for monthly ticket!) After the ball drove into the throats of all the Salt Lake City fans, Roger revealed a nonchalant smile and said, “What’s the deal?

This is literally the easiest attack I’ve had today, Karl!”

Hornacek was also showered with trash talk, coming from his daughter, “Wow, what a cool shot!”

One block, one basket, Roger shamed Karl Malone in the clutch.

In this battle of MVP candidates, Karl Malone was utterly destroyed!

But he wasn’t ready to give up yet.

After going on the attack, Malone called for the ball in the post.

Stockton wanted to remind Malone to keep cool, and that they should be going for a three-pointer now.

But Malone began to shout, “Give it to me, John, a quick two points is just the same!”

As Stockton fed the ball in, he pointed towards the right side of the court at the moment of the pass.

Malone, catching the ball, followed the direction of Stockton’s finger and noticed Hornacek left open on the weak side.

Roger?

Just as Malone was pondering this, he heard Stockton yell, “Watch out!”

While Karl Malone and McKey were battling fiercely, Roger swooped into the paint from the weak side and reached out a hand, knocking Malone’s ball away!

Roger had already darted into the paint and circled to Karl Malone’s blind spot from behind, then, before Malone realized the danger, struck and stole the ball!

For the third time, Roger clutched at Karl Malone’s throat in a critical moment!

After the steal, Roger wanted to push forward immediately, but Karl Malone had lost his mind; he fiercely grabbed Roger’s jersey from behind, trying to pull Roger down directly.

Roger pushed the ball out to a teammate with his right hand and flung his left arm backward fiercely.

The elbow, sharp as a knife, struck right at Karl Malone’s temple.

Like being speared through the neck, Malone’s huge body went limp in an instant, collapsing to the ground, clinging to Roger’s legs.

Dragging Malone, Roger took a step forward, saw Harper complete a counterattack layup, and kill the game completely, raising both arms high.

Roger was like flaunting the corpse of Karl Malone on the battlefield, and from that moment, Malone became a footnote to an epic hero!

It wasn’t until blood began to pool where Malone had fallen that referees finally called a halt to the game.

Roger pulled his foot out from the grasp of the unconscious Malone and then embraced his teammates.

With 42 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals, Roger handled the Utah Jazz and Karl Malone with his career’s first 40+10.

Stockton wasn’t wrong; someone was going to bleed.

But that someone wasn’t necessarily Roger.

—————–

“Did Roger do it on purpose?

I don’t think so; it was just a natural reaction to being pulled back on his jersey.

We all believe it was completely accidental.” — Brian Hill discusses Roger elbowing Karl Malone causing him to faint for a full 43 seconds before waking up.

“If we meet in the finals, I’ll pay it all back; I swear!

That bastard should pray that his team doesn’t make it to the finals!” — Karl Malone snarled in response to reporters after being elbowed unconscious and bleeding by Roger.

“Yes, Roger gave my daughter his jersey and shoes after the game, and even kindly signed them for her.

My daughter is thrilled; she will probably be too excited to sleep tonight.

But her poor father is not in such good spirits.” — Jeff Hornacek tells reporters with a wry smile.

“Now, I think everyone is clear about who is more deserving of the MVP, right?

In the final minute, Roger completely crushed Karl Malone.

I mean, utterly crushed.” — Derrick McKey comments on the MVP race.

“AI is right; when Shaq and Roger team up, it’s like getting hit with a one-two punch from Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

But…

Damn, you don’t think you can take Mike Tyson on your own, do you?

Don’t provoke him; there will be a lot of blood.

Why does Roger have to apologize?

He just did what Karl Malone does to others.” — Michael Cage, diagnosed with a concussion, discusses Malone’s defeat in high spirits.

“This was a very convincing victory.

I’ll say it again; without Daddy Shaq, none of you can stop him from getting the MVP.

The only person that could be stronger than him is me.

Damn, you’ll all understand that one day.

Heh, that lucky bastard.” — O’Neal summarizes after the game as a commentator for NBC.
