(Asking for monthly tickets!)_5 Roger’s extremely humiliating actions and words had truly angered Rodman.
With one hand, he grabbed Roger, who was straddling his head, and threw him over his shoulder, smashing Roger to the ground!
Roger hit the ground hard, and the tense situation between the two sides, like a balloon inflated too full,
finally burst!
Bob Costas from NBC was right, the probing had finally erupted into a full-blown conflict.
Rodman was still unaware that the atmosphere on the scene had changed, and he was still pretending to be innocent in front of the referee, then he turned to Roger, “Come hit me, asshole, with your punches so weak even a girl would feel the pain.
Come on, hit me, come…”
Before he could finish, Derrick McKey landed a punch directly on Rodman’s face, fulfilling his longstanding request.
Rodman’s face burst into blood, and his nose was immediately broken.
Pippen quickly rushed over and locked McKey’s neck from behind, while Roger also got up, trying to pry Pippen’s hands off.
But Roger’s intervention didn’t stop the fight; it actually escalated it.
Pippen had always resented Roger, and he hadn’t forgotten the time Roger beat him up in the locker room during their rookie season, an incident that had humiliated him and made him a laughingstock across the league!
Damn, Roger deserved to be hit the most!
So Pippen let go, turned, and swung his fist at Roger.
But Roger quickly stepped back, just dodging Pippen’s fist.
Then the next moment, Harper rushed out and hugged Pippen, “Stop fighting!”
Roger instantly read this attack, it was a classic “Dr.
J-Flying Pig-Big Bird” pincer move.
Facing Pippen, who was immobilized in his spot, Roger swung his fists hard.
His punches hit solidly, Pippen felt a complete daze and spat out a few teeth, and he roared angrily, “I’m going to kill you, asshole!”
However, all he could do was rage impotently, as Harper was holding him tightly the entire time, preventing him from moving an inch; he couldn’t do anything.
“Shut up, you trash!” Roger shouted at Pippen, flipping him the middle finger, then broke free from the person holding him and ran towards the tangled McKey and Rodman on the ground.
By this time, the players trying to break up the fight were divided into two groups.
One group was still holding onto Pippen, and the other had all thrown themselves on the ground, trying to stop McKey from beating Rodman.
After McKey had just burst Rodman’s nose, he directly tackled the Worm, straddling him and threw several punches until someone pulled him off, finally stopping the blows.
Roger also joined the crowd attempting to pull apart Rodman and McKey, but Roger’s intention was clearly different from the others.
He was not the type to be thrown down and then smile and shake hands with the aggressor.
After plunging into the crowd, Roger seized the chaos to release a flurry of punches at Rodman, who was pinned underneath.
Since hitting Pippen had already gotten him in trouble, he might as well get his revenge all at once!
Seizing an opening, Roger furiously swung his fists at Rodman, shouting as he punched, “Meeting your request, Dennis, I’m meeting it!
Today I can still find a softie to bully, and it’s you, Dennis!”
In the midst of this, Jordan’s loud shout could also be heard: “Damn, who hit me!?”
He accidentally got his wish too.
When the sides were finally pulled apart, Rodman, covered in blood from head to face, no longer dared to make noise.
His disrespectful comments before the game and provocations during the match had cost him dearly.
Rodman was still dazed; throughout his years in the streets, he was used to provoking opponents, but most opponents never dared to hit him.
But in Orlando…
No, you guys really threw punches!
Pippen also had a swollen face and lost a few teeth.
Initially, he wanted to take the opportunity to get back at Roger, but he ended up getting severely beaten!
Every time, he managed to perfectly demonstrate his inability!
In contrast, Roger and McKey’s faces were very clean, totally uninjured.
Amidst the cheers of the fans, Pippen and Rodman were helped off the court.
Roger and Harper were naturally ejected immediately.
Walking into the player’s tunnel, McKey looked at Roger, “Didn’t I tell you?
That’s my job, you didn’t need to soil your hands.”
Roger was nonchalant, “But I couldn’t just watch you being choked by someone else.
I’m also a member of this team, and I’ll stand up for anyone!”
McKey was stunned for a moment; he hadn’t expected such a remark from a superstar.
After a while, McKey awkwardly squeezed out, “Thanks.”
But soon, he sighed, “Brian is going to be like a volcano tomorrow.”
Roger shrugged, “Think about some happy things, Derrick.
At least, we beat the hell out of those two bastards.
Did you see how pathetic they looked just now?
Heh, I actually miss their unruly demeanor.”
Although both teams were down two main players, because the Bulls still had Jordan, they finally broke the eight-game losing streak against Magic.
However, more embarrassingly, nobody cared about this victory.
Michael Jordan’s dominance hadn’t been restored by this win.
Now, everyone was concerned about that fight.
Jordan won, yet it was as if he hadn’t won anything.
“I swear, I was just trying to stop Scott, to prevent things from getting worse.
How can you say I played favorites?
I’m not that kind of person, and I don’t even know how to favor one side in a game.” – Ron Harper spoke righteously about his intervention with Pippen.
“A dirty game, the league should ban Dennis Rodman for life.
His actions towards Roger were too much!
Not just Roger, Scott was the first to strike!
Roger was just defending himself, Derrick was defending a teammate, I don’t think they did anything wrong!” – Horace Grant supported his teammates.
“We have thousands of ways to solve problems, but they chose the most foolish one!” – Brian Hill angrily discussed the matter of Roger and McKey being ejected.
“I didn’t take advantage of the chaos to hit Jordan; you need a basis to make such claims.” – Derrick McKey spread his hands innocently.
“Roger, what’s your view on this brawl?”
“How I see it doesn’t matter; what’s important is that people saw the reality that Dennis Rodman is inherently a wimp, something I’ve said last season and proved again this season.”
“And Scott?”
“Scott is a lovely person,” Roger even laughed.
“What do you think the league will do in terms of punishment?”
“That’s for David to worry about.
All I know is that in the face of the other side’s increasing insults, you have to fight back.
Bearing it quietly only leaves you facing more severe bullying; this principle should be written into high school textbooks!”
“Ah?” the Sentinel reporter was taken aback, then he really wanted to give Roger a thumbs up.
With that last remark, he directly elevated the theme of this fight!
There’s an art to picking your battles, and with that move, Roger clearly knew what he was doing.
