(Vote for monthly tickets!)_4 In the box, Pat Williams excitedly swung his fist, nearly hitting DeVos on the nose.

“Sorry, sir, sorry!

But I…it’s just so great, we still have a chance!” Williams realized he had lost his composure and quickly straightened his disheveled collar.

There was only a minute and a half left in the game, and Brian Hill didn’t call a timeout, not wanting to disrupt the players’ emotions.

Well, he mainly knew that even if he called a timeout, it would be useless.

If timeouts were of any use, Magic Team would have already cracked the Knicks’ defensive position.

Can they really overtake the lead?

Can they break through the Knicks’ defensive position this time?

It all depended on the players.

“Shaq, give me the ball!” Roger waved to Shaq who was about to pass the ball in from the baseline.

O’Neal immediately knew Roger wanted to resolve this critical round that would determine everything on his own.

But would the Knicks’ defense allow him to do so?

“Roger brings the ball past half-court, this is a crucial attack, can Magic Team overtake the score?” Fratello clenched his fist; this attack meant too much for this young combination.

The Knicks wouldn’t give Magic Team a chance time and time again, if they still couldn’t overtake the score this time, Magic Team’s momentum could very well be completely interrupted.

“Sir, your car is ready.” In the box, the assistant reminded DeVos it was time to leave.

DeVos didn’t say a word, he just waved his hand back at the assistant.

He wanted to watch this round.

Starks was marking Roger, and Derek Harper was still executing Riley’s strategy, leaving the man who shared his last name unmarked and coming up to double-team with Starks.

Taking advantage of Derek Harper’s double-team, Roger stepped right and then suddenly changed direction to the left, breaking past Starks!

Ewing temporarily left Shaq to block the middle, protecting the basket.

At this moment, O’Neal had a fleeting opening, and there was only one question in his mind, “Will Roger think of me?”

No, facing the menacing Ewing and Starks’ interference on the side, Roger took a one-step jump shot from inside the paint.

O’Neal was a little disappointed, as Roger ultimately chose to take the shot himself, still the same as before.

But…

Shaq quickly realized, damn, this wasn’t a jump shot!

This was a fucking pass!

The guy wanted to play an alley-oop with him!

Roger wasn’t a good passer, and this ball was a bit too high.

However, O’Neal timed his jump perfectly, and his athletic ability was sufficient for him to catch the slightly high basketball.

Charles Smith reacted, jumping up to block O’Neal’s slam dunk.

But it was too late.

The Knicks missed their last chance to kill the young Magic Team.

Now, they had evolved into their final form.

“Roger…to Shaq!!!”

“Boom!”

Fratello’s loud shout beautifully merged with the tremendous sound of O’Neal’s slam dunk.

The score overturned, and the fans in the Orlando Arena stands surged like waves.

Pat Williams simply hugged the DeVos next to him, no longer caring about his image, “We’ve overtaken!

We’ve overtaken; they’ve smashed the Knicks’ defensive position!

Fuck, Roger and Shaq are the greatest duo ever; fuck the Knicks, fuck Pat Riley, fuck ’em all!”

In that moment, he wasn’t just watching the game, he was part of it.

The fire had finally ignited!

“The score is overtaken!

Roger and O’Neal have taken the lead with a beautiful alley-oop!

New York’s 17-point lead is now gone!

The Knicks have called a timeout, and coach Pat Riley is screaming, just like last year!”

As the referee blew the whistle for the timeout, O’Neal joyously raised his hands to the skies, reveling in unparalleled pleasure.

His mouth wide open and eyes sparkling with excitement, he rushed over to Roger and embraced the teammate he had longed for, “You saw me, you saw me!”

“Of course, I saw you, I said I would pass to you, Shaq, I said we’d beat the crap out of those New York bastards!

Also, Grandma Odessa was right.”

“She was, everything is going to be alright!” O’Neal responded happily.

Ron Harper watched Roger and O’Neal hugging and couldn’t help but smile.

At that moment, they truly found their chemistry.

In the past dozen minutes or so, they truly found something, something to lay the foundation for a championship.

The normally defensively-lazy Shaq started trying his hardest to defend the opposing pick and rolls.

The always willful Roger assisted O’Neal with a beautiful pass to overtake the score.

They forged an inseparable link; they were no longer just two powerful but independent individuals.

Orlando’s blade had finally been tempered into steel!
